Abstract

The aims of this research was: (1) describe the planning of learning to write argumentation, (2) describe the implementation of learning to write argumentation, (3) describe the learning appraisal of argumentation, (4) describe the problems faced in learning to write argumentation, (5) In overcoming the problems encountered in learning to write arguments. This research is a kind of qualitative research with case study approach. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, the planning of learning to write argumentation consists of syllabus and learning implementation plan. Second, the implementation of learning to write argumentation is quite optimal. Third, the assessment is conducted in two ways: direct and indirect assessment. Fourth, the problems experienced when the implementation of learning took place include: the limited allocation of learning time, the low interest of students, students difficult to pour ideas and ideas into the form of writing, low student vocabulary, and limited facilities and infrastructure. Fourth, the teacher's effort to overcome the problems in the implementation of learning to write argumentation that teachers maximize the delivery of materials, teachers seek a new atmosphere, teachers ask students to create a framework of writing, teachers ask students to make a reading summary, and teachers carry out learning in the language or library laboratory.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) unsur intrinsik (alur, tema, amanat, tokoh dan penokohan, latar, serta sudut pandang) pada novel Aroma Karsa karya Dee Lestari; (2) hubungan antarunsur intrinsik pada novel Aroma Karsa karya Dee Lestari; (3) pemanfaatan analisis struktural pada novel Aroma Karsa karya Dee Lestari sebagai materi ajar sastra kelas XII SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, menggunakan pendekatan struktural sastra. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumen novel Aroma Karsa karya Dee Lestari. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan_data yang digunakan yaitu dengan cara analisis dokumen dan wawancara. Peneliti menggunakan triangulasi teori dan sumber data sebagai uji validitas data. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis model interaktif.  Hasil penelitian ini dapat dikemukakan bahwa 1) terdapat  unsur intrinsik novel Aroma Karsa karya Dee Lestari meliputi tema, alur, penokohan, latar, sudut pandang, dan amanat; 2) Setiap unsur yang terdapat dalam novel Aroma Karsa karya Dee Lestari memiliki hubungan dan tidak dapat berdiri sendiri; 3) Novel Aroma Karsa karya Dee Lestari dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai materi ajar sastra kelas XII SMA pada KD 3.9 menggunakan metode Jigsaw, Talking Sticking dan lain-lain.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the deviation of prejudice, schemata, and the material context of Ryan Adriandhy's solo comedy performance. This study uses a pragmatic approach in describing the research data in linguistic units by referring to the theory of prejudice deviations (Yule, 2014), Piaget regarding schemata development, and discourse context (Hymes in Widodo). The data in this study are Ryan Adriandhy's speech on Stand-up comedy performances that contain preconceived deviations and schemata in seven different performances. The data in this study were obtained using the observation method and transcribed using the note-taking technique. In analyzing the data, the authors used qualitative data analysis procedures with the results presented in an informal explanation. The results of the research carried out were (1) the deviation of presuppositions found in Ryan Adriandhy's Stand-up comedy performance, namely: structural and general presupposition deviations, (2) schemata development that occurred in Ryan Adriandhy's Stand-up comedy performance, including two ways, namely: assimilation and accommodation, and (3) The discourse context contained in Ryan Adriandhy's stand-up comedy performance is divided into several constructions. It can be seen from the context of the show, the persona of the comic, and each item of the material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji signifikansi pengaruh model pembelajaran learning cycle berbasis media audio visual terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi siswa SMA kelas X. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pedekatan eksperimen. Yang menjadi sampel penelitian adalah kelas X IIS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X IIS 1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes menulis puisi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus uji-t dengan bantuan SPSS versi 21. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa (1) rata-rata hasil tes siswa kelompok eksperimen yang dapat perlakuan model pembelajaran learning cycle berbasis media audio visual terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi lebih besar dibandingkan dengan rata-rata hasil tes siswa kelompok kontrol dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional dan (2) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran learning cycle berbasis media audio visual terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas X yang ditunjukkan dengan koefisien thitung sebesar 2,34 atau lebih besar dari koefisien ttabel sebesar 1,669. Dengan demikian, tes hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran learning cycle berbasis media audio visual lebih baik hasilnya daripada tes hasil belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran biasa.

Abstract

The research was conducted to develop interactive learning media based on local wisdom and its impact on improving student learning outcomes in listening to folk tales. The results of this study are expected to produce products in the form of learning media that are in accordance with the characteristics of the material and students and improve student learning outcomes. This research method is the Research and Development method with a development design using the hannafin and peck design. In accordance with the research objectives that have been stated, the data sources used in this study were obtained from the media feasibility validation questionnaire, student learning outcomes tests before and after the use of the media. The research subjects in this study were students of class XI SMAN 1 Segedong. As for the independent variable in this study is interactive media based on local wisdom, while learning outcomes as the dependent variable in this study. The data collection techniques used in this research are indirect communication techniques and measurement techniques. The instruments used in data collection were a validation validation questionnaire and a test of student learning outcomes with multiple choice questions. The results showed that the average student learning outcomes from the initial test increased by 68.16 to 80.31 in the final test. Then based on testing using the effect size, the value was 0.86 with large criteria. It can be concluded that interactive media based on local wisdom has a major effect on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berorientasi pada keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). Namun demikian, berdasarkan observasi terbatas teridentifikasi soal-soal buatan guru belum sepenuhnya berorientasi pada pengembangan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber data meliputi guru-guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMPN 4 Surakarta dan tugas tertulis. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara terstruktur dan tidak terstruktur serta analisis dokumen. Teknik validitas data melalui triangulasi metode dengan cara mencocokkan data antara wawancara dan hasil tes tertulis. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis model interaktif. Setelah dilakukan tindakan perbaikan (treatment) kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan soal bahasa Indonesia mengalami perubahan terutama dalam menentukan kata kerja operasional yang dibutuhkan terukur sesuai dengan dimensi tesnya. Ide pengembangan instrumen tes yang dikembangkan oleh guru bisa bercabang dan divergen sesuai dengan tujuan tes yang hendak dicapai. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya tindakan perbaikan (treatment) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru Bahasa Indonesia dalam menyusun soal berprespektif HOTS. Indikator menunjukkan kemampuan terukur sebagai alat untuk mencapai tujuan. Pengguna potensial hasil penelitian ini adalah sekolah dan Dinas Pendidikan Kota Surakarta dalam mengembangkan kompetensi profesional pendidik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe (1) the form of textual analysis in the drama script Senja dengan Dua Kelelawar by Kirdjomulyo; (2) the form of contextual analysis in the drama script Senja dengan  Dua Kelelawar by Kirdjomulyo; and (3) the relevance of the results of this study as teaching materials for Indonesian language learning in senior high schools. This research is a qualitative research with the main data source as the drama script Senja dengan Dua Kelelawar by Kirdjomulyo. Data validity test used is theory triangulation. The sampling technique of this study used purposive sampling. Data analysis technique used is an interactive analysis technique that includes four stages, namely: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, and (4) drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that in the drama script Senja dengan Dua Kelelawar by Kirdjomulyo uses grammatical and lexical aspects to analyze textually. The use of analysis of grammatical and lexical aspects is precisely able to form a discourse that has cohesive forms. The unified form of drama script discourse is supported by grammatical aspects, namely reference, restoration, absorption, and sequencing. In grammatical aspects, it is dominated by reference. Persona referencing that is often used is single persona referencing, both my free form, mine, my left sticky form, and my right sticky form. Harmony of meaning is also supported by lexical aspects, namely repetition, synonymy, antonymy, collocation, hyponymy, and equivalence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the obstacles to learning Indonesian online and efforts to solve them at SMAIT Nur Hidayah Sukoharjo. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique was carried out by document analysis, observation and interviews. Data analysis used in this research is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that the obstacles experienced by teachers and students during online learning were supervision, learning applications, learning facilities and internet networks.

Abstract

Salah satu jenis tindak tutur yang memungkinkan termuat dalam naskah drama adalah kesantunan berbahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi tindak kesantunan berbahasa dalam naskah drama Retno Manggali dan relevansinya sebagai bahan ajar Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan pragmatik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan cara pengamatan simak dan catat karena datanya berupa teks. Validitas dalam penelitian ini menggunakan trianggulasi sumber. Penelitian ini menemukan 20 data kesantunan berbahasa yang meliputi maksim kebijaksanaan 6 data, maksim pujian 2 data, maksim kedermawanan 2 data, maksim kesederhanaan 3 data, maksim kecocokan 4 data, dan maksim kesimpatian 3 data. Hasil penelitian ini relevan sebagai bahan ajar Bahasa Indonesia untuk tingkat SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas) kelas XI pada KD 3.19 yaitu menganalisis isi dan kebahasaan drama yang dibaca atau ditonton dan dapat dikontribusikan dengan unsur intrinsik bagian amanat.

Abstract

This research intends to describe and explain: (1) Intrinsic elements of the novel of Pada Sebuah Kapal by N. H. Dini; (2) The character building elements of the main role of the novel of Pada Sebuah Kapal by N. H. Dini; (3) The character education values in the novel of Pada Sebuah Kapal by N. H. Dini; and (4) The result of the study of the novel of Pada Sebuah Kapal by N. H. Dini for teaching literature of XII Grade of senior high school students based on Basic Competencies 3.9, that is the analysis of context and linguistic of the novel. This research is descriptive qualitative research with the psychology literature study. The sample was collected by purposive sampling method. The data were collected by interview and document analysis. The data validity test that was used is the triangulation of data sources and member check or informant review. The data was analysed by flows analysis models method. The research results are: (1) Intrinsic elements that consist of theme, character and characterization, setting, plot, and point of view is interconnected and build each other in the process of the creation of literature. Through the analysis of intrinsic elements of the novel, the reader will be easier to understand the context of the read novel; (2) The character building elements of Sri as the main role consists of id, ego, and superego. Ego element is the dominant element because it affects the most of the decision making for the main role lives; (3) The character education values in the novel of Pada Sebuah Kapal by N. H. Dini consist of discipline, work hard, curiosity, nationality spirit, appreciating achievement, friendly/communicative, love to read, and responsibility. The responsibility value is the dominant value because it appears the most in the entire novel and able to affect other character education values; (4) The novel of Pada Sebuah Kapal by N. H. Dini can be used for teaching literature of XII Grade of senior high school students based on Basic Competencies 3.9, that is the analysis of context and linguistic of the novel. This novel also contains the character education values that able to strengthen students’ character that able to be a consideration in determining the good or bad values in daily life.
