Abstract

THE INCREASED OF STUDENT’S LEARNING OUTCOMES OF GEOMETRY NETS WITH REALISTIC MATHEMATIC EDUCATION METHOD AbstractThe purpose of the research is to describe the student’s learning outcomes of geometry nets with realistic mathematic education method in elementary school. The kind of the research is classroom action research that use qualitative and quantitative approaches including planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of this research are the teacher and 20 students of the fifth grade. The result of observation in first cycle is 82.14%, second cycle is 92.85%, teacher aspect in first cycle is 81.66%, second cycle is 95%, student aspect in first cycle is 78.33%, second cycle is 95%. Student result in first cycle is 74.00, second cycle is 87.70. In conclusion, realistic mathematic education method can increase the student’s learning outcomes of geometry nets . Keyword: Learnig outcomes, realistic mathematic education

Abstract

This  research is to describe the application of the Cooperative Learning TipeNumbered Heads Together (NHT) model to improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning. This research is a classroom action research that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this research were 28 teachers and fourth grade students. The implementation of this research was carried out in two cycles with research procedures consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of research was improve a) RPP cycle I 85,7% and cycle II 92,8%. b) Implementation of teacher aspects and aspects of students cycle I 80,6% and cycle II 95,4%,  c) Student learning outcomes cycle I 77,8 and cycle II 89. Thus, the application of the Cooperative Learning TipeNumbered Heads Together (NHT) model can improve learning outcomes students in social studies learning in Grade IV SD Negeri 33 Kalumbuk Kota Padang. Keywords :  Learning outcomes, Social study, NHT

Abstract

AbstrackThis research was conducted due to the fourth grade studen`slow learning achievement at SD Negeri 47 Koto Tuo Kecamatan Koto Tangah Padang. The aim of this research was to describe the improvement of the student`s learning achievement in Social Scince by using Problem Based Learning model in the fourth grade of  SD  negeri   47 Koto Tuo Kecamatan Koto Tangah Padang.  This  was  a classroom action research   which applied qualitative and quantitative approaches. The result of the research indicated that the student`s learning achievement improved from 76,25 in the first cycle into 90,50 in the second cycle. Hence, the use of Problem Based Learning model could improve the students` learning achievement in Social Science in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 47 Koto Tuo Kecamatan Koto Tangah Padang. keywords: Students, Social, Scince, Problem, Based Learning Model.

Abstract

This research is motivated by integrated thematic learning that has not been well implemented, is still in the process of improving. This causes the integrated thematic learning process to be carried out to the maximum. The purpose of this study, to improve the integrated thematic learning process using the Discovery Learning model. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted in the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The results of the study showed an increase in: (1) the learning plan, namely cycle I obtained a percentage of 77% (good), cycle II obtained a percentage of 100% (Very Good). (2) the implementation of learning cycle I obtained a percentage of 81% (good), cycle II obtained a percentage of 97% (Very Good). It can be concluded that the Discovery Learning models can improve the integrated thematic learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatorbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran bangun datar simetris di kelas IV SD Negeri 05 Kinali Kabupaten Pasaman Barat.pembelajaran bangun datar simetris guru belum  menggunakan benda konkret. Mengatasi permasalahan tersebut digunakan pendekatan matematika realistik.Jenis Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini meliputi: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan, 3) pengamatan, dan 4) refleksi. Penelitian siklus I aspek perencanaan dengan rata-rata  82%,  aspek guru dengan rata-rata 71%  aspek siswa dengan rata-rata  67%, hasil kognitif dengan rata-rata 67%, afektif dengan rata-rata 68%, psikomotor71%. pada siklus II aspek perencanaan 97%, aspek guru 89% dan dari aspek siswa 86%, hasil kognitif menjadi rata-rata 90,3%, afektif 82%. Psikomotor 80%. Kata Kunci : hasil belajar, bangun datar, simetris dan matematika realistik.

Abstract

Abstract             This research aimed to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model on mathematical critical thinking skills of fifth grade students of Public Elementary School 02 Aur Kuning, Bukittinggi City on simple statistical material. This research was quantitative research with the experimental method. This Quasi Experiment research used Non-equivalent control group design. The population in this research was Elementary Schools in group II in Aur Birugo Tigo Baleh and the sample technique used was cluster random sampling. The data collection technique used was test in essay form and non-test using an observation sheet. The data were analyzed using t-test to see the effect of two average values after the normality test and homogeneity test. The results showed that the average of post-test in experiment class was 80.4 and 78.27 in control class. Analysis of t-test both in experiment and control classes was obtained tcount = 2.8 and ttable = 1.701 at a significant level of 0.05. Hence tcount> ttable then Ha was accepted. Thus it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model had a positive effect on the mathematical critical thinking skills of the fifth grade students of Public Elementary School 02 Aur Kuning, Bukittinggi in simple statistical material.

Abstract

Through this research the writer approach inquiry in processes learning for there are many student. Obsevational stage is describe to plot, implement, and step-up study results. Type of this research is observational action braze, with use qualitative approaching and quantitative one consisting of two cycles. Observational student of class five and observational. Analisis’s result to learning planning on. Cycle is 83,85 experience step-ups on tehe second cycle, by derived 91,05. Result observinging to activity learns in learning on I, cycle is 84,09 experience step-ups on the second is 95,45. Result observinging to student activity in learning on I cycle is 78,13 experience step-ups on the second cycle, by derived 93,56. Learned result before perfom research average 73,60 on the second cycle, average 86,76. In short, the research action class uses approach inquiry could increase the student’s study result for exact sicience course. Kata kunci : hasil belajar, IPA, pendekatan, pembelajaran, dan inkuiri

Abstract

The research is aimed to describe the students’ learning outcomes in the Civics Subjects by using the Mind Mapping Model at 5th grade of SDN 19 Sungaitanang. The classroom-action research is conducted in the research by using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of the research were the teacher and 22 students of the school. This research was conducted in two cycles where each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The result of the research shows that: a) the lesson plan increased from  73.21% (adequate) in cycle I to 92.85% (very good) in cycle II, b) in term of the teacher’s teaching aspect increased from 74.99% (adequate) in cycle I to 94.44% (very good) in cycle II; meanwhile, in the students’ learning aspect increased from 73.60% (adequate) in cycle I to 91.66% (very good) in cycle II, c) the students’ learning outcomes increased from 75.28 (adequate) in cycle I to 88.38 (very good) in cycle II. Thus, the use of Mind Mapping model has improved the students’ learning outcomes in learning the Civics Subjects at 5th Grade of SDN 19 Sungaitanang. Keywords:learning outcome; Civics; Mind Mapping

Abstract

The purpose of this research is cleary describe an improvement of PKN learning result by using cooperative model of TPS type 4th class SDN 52 Kuranji, Padang. This reasearch use a qualitative and quantitative approaches with an action classroom method (PTK). The subjects of a research are a teacher and 20 students. A research result by cycle planning I is about 78,57% then rises by cycle II about 92,85%. An  from teacher side cycle I is about 78,12% and cycle II rises about 90,62%. In addition, from student aspect cycle I is about 76,56% and rises by cycle II about  87,50%. Then the student learning result from cycle I about 76,10 and rises by cycle II 86,08.  Keywords: Civics, cooperative model of TPS type

Abstract

This study aims to find out the differences between the use of Student Team-Achievement Divisions (STAD) type Cooperative learning models and Team Assisted Individualition (TAI) on the results of Multiplication and Decimal Multiplication and Distribution. This type of research is an experiment using a quasi-experimental design with the pretest-posttest non-equivalent group. The sample in this study was the VA class and VB SD N 02 Sariak. The study sample consisted of 21 VA class students as the STAD model group and 21 VB class students as the selected TAI model group based on purposive sampling technique. The results of the calculation of the research data used is the t-test obtained by t count 8.11> t table 1.68385 at the level of α 0.05. This means that the use of the STAD model is better than the TAI model on the learning outcomes of multiplication and division of fractions and decimals. Keywords  : STAD Cooperative, TAI, Students Learning Outcomes,Mathematic
