Abstract

Sektor Pariwisata berbasis produk lokal ini merupakan sektor yang sangat potensial untuk pemberdayaan rakyat dan mempunyai multiplier effect yang sangat luas. Karena usaha-usaha masyarakat yang berbasis produk lokal di sektor pariwisata berkaitan langsung dengan sektor lain yang mempengaruhi kehidupan ekonomi rakyat. Sumber daya manusia atau dalam hal ini adalah masyarakat yang berkualitas menjadi critical point dalam meningkatkan potensi pariwisata. Itulah sebabnya, maka sebagai pelaku industri pariwisata perlu menghadirkan pendidikan atau pelatihan yang diberikan kepada sumber daya manusianya dalam rangka peningkatan pengetahuan, ketrampilan dan produktivitasnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar dampak pelatihan gizi kuliner yang diberikan terhadap kualitas local food industry di Desa Wisata Religi Muria, Colo, Kudus, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer, dimana data diperoleh dengan observasi membagikan kuesioner dengan sifat kuesioner terbuka kepada pengelola industri pangan lokal yang menjadi peserta pelatihan gizi dan gastronomi, sebelum dan sesudah pemberian pelatihan. Data sekunder yang diperoleh dari data pengelola industri pangan lokal yang mengikuti pelatihan gizi dan gastronomi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pemberian pelatihan gizi dan gastronomi memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengetahuan dan praktik pengelola produksi olahan bahan pangan lokal. Pemberian pelatihan gizi dan gastronomi menjadi salah satu usaha promosi kesehatan dan pariwisata yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan perubahan sikap dan praktik para pengelola bahan pangan lokal mengenai gizi dan gastronomi, sehingga pada akhirnya dapat mendorong promosi pariwisata lokal

Abstract

The hospitality industry is the part of the tourism industry which is the 4th highest devisa contributor of Indonesia. Bali nicknamed as the Island of Gods is one of the most favorite destination with stable and increasing number of visitors each year. One of the most important part of a hotel is its’ human resources and as the heart of the hotel, the performance of the room division staffs can be used as a benchmark of the hotel’s success. Performance improvement can be done with training and development. This research intended to measure the impact of training and development as indepent variables toward staffs’ performance as the dependent variable in room division of Hotel Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali. This research used descriptive quantitative method and correlational analysis. The sample in this research was 66 staffs from both the Front Office and Housekeeping determined with Slovin formula. Using the measurement of determinant coefficient, it was discovered that training and development influence the performance by 53,9% while the rest was influenced by other variables outside this research. From the result of this research, it may be concluded that training and development influenced the room division staffs performance positively, whether partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

Along with development and economic growth, today increased the role of tourism, as a new sector of substantial foreign exchange earner for the improvement of public welfare. Indonesia as one of the country that has a wealth of outstanding natural and cultural, also enjoy these benefits. However, tourism also often regarded as one of the largest damage contributor to the preservation of the environment and society, particularly through the development of supporting infrastructure. By using approach of quantitative methode, this reserach aims to formulate a model of sustainable tourism-based cultural values, social and environmental wisdom that will support the successful development of tourism in Yogyakarta. Result of this reserach in the field of Environmental Planning is the formulation of the Sustainable Tourism Development Model as a basis for tourism management policies in Yogyakarta in particular and Indonesia in general, as well as the drafting of the new pillars in the ecotourism criteria to complement the pillars that have been there before.

Abstract

The management, socialization and development of the Belitung Geopark is very significant. The increase in the number of visitors has a positive impact on revenue and operational costs. Therefore, policies and marketing must be improved. The aim of this research is to analyze the evaluation of Belitung Regency government policies in improving the tourism industry. Evaluating the efficiency of human resource management in the tourism industry in Belitung Regency. Evaluate the effectiveness of collaboration between institutions in improving tourist visit programs in Belitung Regency. Examining the facilities, infrastructure and technology developed to attract investor interest in Belitung Regency. Analyzing resource allocation for the development of the tourism sector to increase the number of tourist visits. Based on the research findings of Leo Agustino (2016) using a policy evaluation model which includes various factors such as Apparatus Resources (SDA), Institutions, Facilities, Infrastructure, Technology, Finance and Supporting Regulations, the researcher concluded that evaluating regulatory implementation policies in Belitung Regency No. . 12 of 2015 and Regent Regulation no. 10 of 2019. Abstract

The city is a tourist destination (urban tourism). It is just not a gateway or tourist gathering point. Labuan Bajo has a strategic function and location to become a catchment area for many tourists. However, does Labuan Bajo has urban tourism products so potential as urban tourism? Through a qualitative design with a case study approach, this study find that Labuan Bajo has tourism products that make tourists linger in the city, such as place activity, leisure setting, and municipal service facilities. The tourism product has the role as the main attraction of tourists namely lodging facilities, conferences, entertainment venues (café and bar), shopping facilities (shopping), inter-regional transportation facilities, tourism attractions of Pede Beach, Wae Cicu, Batu Cermin, Puncak Waringin, as well as shopping spaces. And tourism products that support the main activities of tourists in Labuan Bajo, such as transportation facilities, information and travel agents

Abstract

The growth of internet information and communication technology is increasing. This makes consumers more critical in hotel booking activities through websites / applications that affect brand image and buying interest. As the internet grows, word-of-mouth electronics has become an important phenomenon. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of online reviews found on the Traveloka site on the consumer's overnight stay. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample of this research is 105 respondents who have read online reviews on the Traveloka site. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. From the results of the study note that online review has a positive effect on interest in staying.

Abstract

The Wayang Windu Panenjoan Nature Tourism Area is located within the plantation area of ​​PT Perkebunan Nusantara which is located in Banjarsari Village, Pangalengan District, Bandung Regency, West Java. The total area of ​​this tourist area is only about 832.5 square meters. The hallmark of this tour is the beautiful scenery with the cool air amidst the expanse of tea plantations. The research was conducted to determine the performance of Wayang Windu Panenjoan natural tourism facilities assets as tourism potential in the Pangalengan area, based on two dimensions, namely Main Facilities and Support Facilities. Descriptive research methods with qualitative and quantitative approaches are the basis of the research methods used. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The result is that there are problems with the performance of the Wayang Windu Nature Tourism Area Facility Assets such as the absence of accommodation, unvaried restaurants, toilet conditions that are still not available. In addition, information center facilities are inadequate, parking spaces are inadequate, prayer equipment is inadequate, facilities for persons with disabilities are not available, and the number of organic and non-organic waste bins is only one. Abstract

There is a consensus among tourism stakeholders in a destination that strategic planning is vital to guide them in designing and implementing tourism programs. Literature has also described the significance of strategic planning in achieving the goal of tourism development of an organization or institution. However, little explanation is available on the link between strategic planning and sustainable cultural tourism. This paper is a critical review of literature focusing at the significance and mechanism of strategic planning for sustainable cultural tourism. Sustainability is the most familiar approach used and mentioned in strategic plans. It is a desirable goal of tourism planners and stakeholders and thus, its principles are used as driver in designing strategic planning. This paper suggests that strategic plan should be used as a guide rather than just an official document. Cultural tourism requires careful management and thus, it is necessary to create strategic planning on the basis of sustainable principles.

Abstract

The existence of creative development and innovation in the management of tourist attractions is currently bringing glamping as a current trend. Glamping (glamorous camping) refers to a modern camping concept that combines the essence of nature with adequate facilities. Boyolali Regency is an area in Central Java which is very famous for the production of quality milk and cheese from various dairy farms, where this area is also called New Zealand Van Java. The glamping accommodation trend can be said to be very suitable to be implemented in Boyolali considering that the weather in this area can be said to be cool. Boyolali Regency has 3 accommodations with a glamor camping concept which are quite competitive and well known to tourists, one of which is Kema Merbabu. The application of the concept of conscious tourism and Sapta Pesona is important in the basis of its development because it can encourage public awareness to become a host. which is good for tourists. Through descriptive qualitative research and observation and interview methods, the 7 elements contained in Sapta Pesona in Kema Merbabu still contain many potential tourism activities and products that can be developed so that Kema Merbabu can attract more tourists and extend the length of their stay. Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve students' understanding and practical skills in organizing events. The PBL (Project Based Learning) model is proven to help students develop critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration and communication skills. The method in this research is direct observation of the research subjects, namely class V A MBP students who received the event organizing course, unstructured interviews with students and all parties involved in class V A student projects, and literature methods by collecting references from previous research discussing PBL . The research results show that this PBL model approach is effective in increasing students' understanding, critical skills, collaboration and creativity. The practice of event organizing projects is also relevant to the world of the events industry, strengthening students' motivation and preparing them for future challenges. Students gain a deep understanding of industry event hosting practices, as evidenced by the success of their projects. Even though PBL has significant advantages and positive benefits, careful planning is needed starting in the fourth semester to reduce risks in the following semester.
