Abstract

The purpose of this research is how to cook food by burying the food with hot stones. The research method used in this study is an experimental research method. The research method used in this research is experimental research methods. The results of sand roasting will be tested using the organoleptic test to show differences in taste and texture between sand roasting and conventional roasting, namely oven roasting. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data collection based on observation and assessment questionnaires. Meanwhile, the secondary is taken from various literatures and research journals. As a result, it took 75 minutes to find an effective and efficient sand roasting method. Based on the results obtained for the organoleptic test, there is no significant difference from the results of the sand roasting method with the oven roasting method. However, the sand roasting method is superior to oven roasting in terms of taste with a value of 3.04 for sand roasting and 2.96 for oven roasting. Likewise, in terms of texture, the sand roasting method is superior with a score of 3.08 while the oven roasting method scores 3.00. Keywords: Sand Roasting; Texture; Taste; Roast Chicken

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline and work environment on employee performance in tourism 4.0 in Madura. This research method uses multiple regression analysis with a quantitative descriptive research type distributing questionnaires to respondents using a Likert scale from 1 to 5. The sample is 96 respondents with accidental sampling. The results of the study show that work discipline and work environment partially have a significant effect on employee performance, because work discipline and work environment are empowered and maintained properly, performance will increase. Conversely, if work discipline and work environment are poor and less attention is paid to it, performance will decrease. For tourism industry leaders in Madura to be more assertive in enforcing rules on employees, the application of a reward and punishment system is expected to be able to create a sense of fear in employees to break the rules as well as be motivated to arrive on time. Abstract

Café first appeared in the western region, the most common café term found in the French country which was then adopted by the city town in England at the end of the 19th century. The term café comes from the word coffe which means coffee. Café is a suitable place to relax and release fatigue, and meet with relatives or friends. Café strawberry is one of the unique restaurant. This restaurant is located in a very strategic area that is located at Jalan Gandaria 1 No.75 South Jakarta. Consumers as individuals who choose a product they want are influenced by many factors, where they differ from one to another. This difference that affects consumer interest and behavior in making decisions to buy the products that they want. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of consumer decision to buy at the strawberry café . Using descriptive methods to describe the phenomena studied systematically, factually, and accurately. This research uses purposive sampling technique. Collect primary data by observation and interview with 67 visitors who come to strawberry cafe. Factors studied were emotional factors (3.99), interest in visiting (3.78), to relax (4.77), due to hunger (2.80), social motive factors (3.34), emotional factors (3.7). The results of this study can be seen that the dominant factor is consumer interest and this will increase consumer decision to buy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the number of foreign tourists via sea transportation, the number of domestic tourists via air transportation and hotel room occupants on economic growth in Bali during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses multiple regression analysis method. Data obtained from BPS Bali Province, the period of this research is from 2018 to 2020. The results show that the number of foreign tourists via sea transportation and the number of domestic tourists via air transportation have no significant effect on economic growth in Bali. Meanwhile, hotel room occupancy has a significant effect on economic growth in Bali. This is due to the small number of tourists visiting Bali via sea transportation, many of whom are tourists who use air transportation, the decline in economic growth in Bali because many people have lost their jobs, companies that generate sales and less spending for the country's economy like all decreased, when hotel occupancy decreased, there was a lack of visits to Bali resulting in a drastic decline in economic growth. Therefore, the tourism sector since the Covid-19 pandemic has required a long time and the right policies so that this sector can recover quickly. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of personal motivation, strong commitment and time management on work discipline. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis using Smart PLS. The location of this research was carried out in the tourist destination Situ Cipondoh. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling because the total population is the same as the number of samples, namely 63 entrepreneurs in the Situ Cipondoh tourist destination. The results of the study partially show that personal motivation, strong commitment and time management have a significant effect on work discipline. Personal motivation in business actors strengthens energy, intrinsic drive, focus, perseverance, and consistency, and encourages self-development and increases overall business success. Strong commitment to business actors is an important factor in building and maintaining high work discipline in the business world and encourages an attitude of responsibility, resilience, consistency and high motivation, all of which contribute to business success and growth. Good time management helps businesses identify important tasks, create a structured schedule, increase efficiency, reduce stress and improve the quality of their work, all of which contribute to productivity and business success. Abstract

Wisata religi merupakan salah satu andalan produk wisata Jatim. Di Jatim, yang merupakan basis Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), wisata religi di kawasan Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) Tebuireng, Jombang, menjadi ikon sekaligus pusat tujuan peziarah. Uniknya, pemakaman di Ponpes Tebuireng, dengan tiga tokoh ulama terkemuka sekaligus pahlawan nasional, KH. Hasyim Asy’ari, KH Wahid Hasyim, dan putranya, KH. Abdurrahman Wahid, semakin menggeliat dan dikenal luas sebagai tujuan wisata ziarah pasca dimakamkannya Presiden RI ke-5, Gus Dur, di sana. Singkatnya, wisata ziarah di makam area dalam Ponpes Tebuireng ini memiliki ikon Gus Dur. Sebagai tujuan wisata ziarah, para peziarah yang tidak hanya umat beragama Islam, tetapi juga wisatawan umum lintas agama, sebagaimana kisah hidup Gus Dur yang dikenal pula sebagai tokoh utama dan simbol perdamaian di tengah keberagaman, destinasi wisata ziarah di makam Gus Dur menjadi ikon wisata ziarah di Jatim melengkapi makam Walilimo. Pendekatan penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi dan mengidentifikasi wisata ziarah di makam Gus Dur. Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk memberikan referensi akademis untuk mengelola Ponpes Tebuireng beserta aset ketokohan bangsa dalam diri para ulama NU yang dimakamkan di dalamnya. Penelitian wisata ziarah ini juga menjadi wahana untuk mengevaluasi pengelolaan para peziarah, sekaligus memperbaiki aspek-aspek kritis yang dibutuhkan para peziarah dalam ritual peziarahan mereka. Di masa depan, ziarah makam Gus Dur dan para ulama NU di area Ponpes Tebuireng, termasuk Ponpes Tebuireng itu sendiri, diharapkan menjadi ikon destinasi wisata religi di Nusantara.

Abstract

The development of tourism is increasingly interesting to study, given that many domestic and foreign tourists travel. Plus, the tourism sector is being promoted by the government. In 2016 the government established 10 priority tourism destinations as "new Bali" one of which is the Thousand Islands located in DKI Jakarta. This study provides an overview of how destination images can provide self-confidence, how the quality of the trip that tourists feel and the desire of tourists to visit again or not after visiting these destinations. This research is very important to do to see whether visiting tourists will visit again in the future. This study uses descriptive quantitative methods, carried out in cross-sectional, data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires. Respondents were tourists visiting the Thousand Islands. Sampling using the Clustersamplin method. Data analysis methods are validity and reliability test, descriptive statistical analysis, Pearson correlation, and simple linear regression, using the help of SPSS 21 for window software (Pramesti, 2013: 37–66).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the awareness of halal and halal labels on the interest in buying Korean instant noodles in school teenagers in Jakarta. The research method used is multiple regression analysis method. The population is all school youth in Jakarta, while the sample is 100 people. Sampling by means of cluster sampling. The results showed that partially halal awareness had a significant effect on buying interest, while the halal label had no significant effect on buying interest. The greater the understanding of teenagers who love Korean instant noodles about halal, the more positive the behavior of teenagers towards things related to halal that affect buying interest. Factors that influence teenagers' buying interest in Korean instant noodles are not seen from the halal label but because the teenager really likes Korean culture from all kinds of food, clothing, music, movies, cosmetics and so on. Korean instant noodle producers are expected to continue to prioritize the halal label because teenage consumers understand their awareness to consume halal food which is important for health. Abstract

The food tourism image, which includes the notion of food, huts, and food activity, is formed by visitors’ perceptions through their experiences. The study aimed to investigate the correlation of food image, huts image, and food activity culinary partially on visitors’ willingness to visit Kawasan Petak Sembilan (KPS) Glodok West Jakarta. Ninety respondents were employed, which were chosen by purposive sampling. The data was analyzed by SMART-PLS. The study reported that huts and food activity images partially correlated positively and significantly with visitors’ willingness to visit. However, the food image didn’t link to visitors’ desire to see it. The KPS is suggested to promote authenticity, inherent to the uniqueness of a destination’s culture and Buddhist temple cuisine. Abstract

Education is an important means for a nation to achieve progress. Learning is a process of behavioral change that takes place consciously and involves all students' abilities. The result of behavioral change s that occur as a result of this teaching - learning process is said to be the result of learning. This can be interpreted when a person learns a knowledge, then he has new skills about knowledge that has been learned in addition to the knowledge that has be en there. This research uses descriptive and correlational method in processing and analyzing data. The unit of analysis in this study is the students who majored in housekeeping STP Trisakti In this study the object is the students of the second semester of 2015 who studied housekeeping at STP Trisakti. Data analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis with the intent to analyze the results of questionnaires from the relationship and the influence of student perceptions about the subject o f housekeeping with motivation to learn at Trisakti Tourism High School Jakarta. Student perception about housekeeping subjects affect the learning motivation by 49.67%. While the remaining 50.33% learning motivation is influenced by other factors.
