Abstract

This study analyzes risk management based on ISO 31000 in Kara Project, an individually operated photography service. Photography work depends heavily on equipment reliability, digital data security, workflow accuracy, and direct interaction with clients, making the business vulnerable to various operational and reputational risks. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through field observations and interviews with the owner to obtain a comprehensive understanding of risks encountered in daily activities. The findings reveal fifty-seven distinct risks that span across equipment performance, client coordination, financial processes, scheduling, and the personal workload inherent in single-operator businesses. The ISO 31000 framework provides a structured basis for organizing these risks, supporting more informed decision-making, and enhancing overall service consistency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of fundamental factors, as seen from the Return on Equity (ROE) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), on stock returns. The analytical method used is panel data regression analysis. This study used six energy sector companies listed on the Index Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020-2024 period. The sample determination in this study used a purposive sampling method. Based on the analysis of the research results, ROE has a significant effect on stock returns, while DER has no effect on stock returns. The coefficient of determination from the research results of the two variables on stock returns is 37.6%, while the remaining 63.3% is influenced by other factors not included in the research model.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the condition of the “Biru” refill-gallon business through SWOT analysis and risk identification. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method based on observations and employee interviews. The findings show that “Biru” has several strengths, including affordable prices, a strategic location in a densely populated area, RO and UV filtration technology, and convenient delivery services. However, the business also faces weaknesses, mainly its dependence on PDAM water and electricity, as well as manual financial recording. The risk analysis indicates that the highest threats come from operational and financial factors, such as water supply disruptions, power outages, and high maintenance costs. Mitigation efforts include regular machine maintenance, preparing reserve funds, and maintaining production-area cleanliness. Overall, “Biru” still has significant growth potential by maintaining water quality, improving service, and strengthening its business management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of risk management in a home-based micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) producing Eco Enzyme products in Bandung. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews and direct observation of production, packaging, and marketing activities. The results indicate that the MSME faces several types of risks, including production, operational, financial, marketing, and environmental as well as customer trust risks. The most significant risks identified are variations in product quality due to raw material characteristics, limited production capacity caused by single-person management, and price sensitivity in the market. Despite these challenges, the business owner has implemented simple yet effective risk management strategies through hands-on supervision, experience-based production control, secure packaging, manual financial records, and environmentally focused digital marketing. The consistent application of risk management practices supports business sustainability, maintains product quality, and strengthens customer trust. This study highlights the importance of risk management as a key factor in enhancing the resilience and long-term sustainability of environmentally friendly MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of capital structure, firm size, and firm value on profitability in the banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020–2024 period. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data in the form of annual financial reports of banking companies. The results show that capital structure has a positive and significant effect on profitability, while firm size has no significant effect on profitability. Firm value has a positive and significant effect on profitability. However, simultaneously, capital structure, firm size, and firm value have no significant effect on profitability. These findings indicate that banking profitability is influenced not only by internal company factors but also by other factors.

Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in the Indonesian economy, particularly in terms of employment and contribution to gross domestic product (GDP). One rapidly growing MSME sector is culinary, including seblak businesses, which are a specialty of the city of Bandung. This study aims to understand the concept of risk management and identify and analyze various risks faced by Seblak GSM MSMEs, both from operational, financial, market, human resources, and regulatory aspects, as well as formulate risk mitigation strategies that can be applied. This study uses a qualitative approach with direct observation and in-depth interviews with business owners. The results show that Seblak GSM MSMEs face risks related to raw materials, finance, operations, market, reputation, and human resources that can affect business continuity. Risk management is implemented through the stages of identification, analysis, evaluation, and mitigation, although it is still simple in nature. The SWOT analysis shows that the strengths of the business lie in its distinctive taste, affordable prices, and buffet concept, while its weaknesses and threats stem from competition and fluctuations in raw material prices. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the implementation of systematic and sustainable risk management is very important for Seblak GSM MSMEs to improve business performance and maintain business sustainability amid sector dynamics.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of risk management in Sailiwa Product, a small-scale business engaged in the processing and distribution of spices. The main problem identified is the lack of systematic risk management practices, which often lead to operational disruptions, inconsistent supply from farmers, and quality issues in stored products. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method using observation and interviews to explore how the business owner identifies, mitigates, and manages various types of risks. The data collected were analyzed interactively through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that Sailiwa Product has begun implementing basic risk control strategies such as dual verification systems, safety stock preparation, and better product storage methods. These simple yet adaptive steps have positively impacted business continuity. The study suggests that the adoption of a digital inventory system and periodic risk evaluation could further enhance the effectiveness of risk management in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tradisi Besiru pada masyarakat Sumbawa di Dusun Sejari melalui perspektif akuntansi sebagai bentuk utang-piutang sosial. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, penelitian menggali bagaimana praktik tolong-menolong dalam rangkaian perkawinan (Tokal Adat dan Tokal Buntar) berfungsi sebagai sistem akuntansi informal. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi buku catatan masyarakat (buku induk). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Besiru berperan sebagai mekanisme sosial-budaya di mana bantuan dicatat dan dipahami sebagai kewajiban moral dan ekonomi yang harus dibalas di masa depan. Tradisi ini membedakan antara bantuan timbal balik (yang menimbulkan utang sosial) dan pemberian sukarela (Jemma), dengan yang pertama ditegakkan melalui norma sosial dan sanksi adat. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa Besiru merupakan bentuk akuntansi berbasis kearifan lokal yang menekankan keadilan sosial, kepercayaan, dan keberlanjutan hubungan komunitas, serta memperluas pemahaman akuntansi di luar konteks formal.

Abstract

Beauty salon MSMEs in Indonesia play a vital role in supporting the service sector and the local economy, yet they face various risks that can threaten their business sustainability. This study aims to analyze risk management at Teh Rani Beauty Salon MSME across market, financial, marketing, operational, human resource, and legal aspects. The study employed qualitative methods, including interviews and observations, to obtain data on the salon's conditions and challenges. A SWOT analysis and risk matrix were used to map risk management priorities, enabling business owners to establish appropriate mitigation strategies. The study demonstrates the need for systematic implementation to improve operational efficiency, maintain customer loyalty, and strengthen competitiveness amidst the increasingly fierce competition in the beauty industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of risk management in Ayam Bersih Berkah (ABB) as a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) operating in the culinary sector. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through direct observation and interviews with Ayam Bersih Berkah outlet managers. The results of the study indicate that ABB faces various operational risks stemming from several main aspects, namely human resource risks, availability and quality of raw materials, cleanliness and quality of business premises, marketing activities, and risks related to customers. In carrying out daily operations, ABB has implemented standard operating procedures (SOPs), including storing raw chicken in the freezer, a twenty-four-hour thawing process, and a thirteen-minute frying process to maintain product quality and hygiene. In addition, ABB also implements employee performance monitoring to maintain service consistency. However, the implementation of risk management at ABB is still informal and has not been systematically documented in the form of a written policy. Risk control is carried out practically through direct supervision by outlet leaders, coordination between branches, and the use of digital systems to support operational and promotional activities. The implementation of these risk controls helps ABB maintain operational smoothness, service quality, customer satisfaction, and business sustainability in the face of competition.
