Abstract

The challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0 encourage curriculum development to equip students with 21st century skills, such as critical thinking skills, creativity and digital literacy. It was recorded that Indonesia's 2018 PISA ranking in terms of literacy was unsatisfactory. Therefore, the National Examination was replaced with a Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) so that students' literacy skills are better honed. This research focuses on developing AKM type questions based on CBT (Computer Based Testing) (Case Study: Jepara Regency Creative Industries). It is hoped that from this research, students can think more critically, creatively and innovatively in solving problems. The questions consist of 40 questions with 5 types, namely multiple choice, complex multiple choice, description, short answer, and matching. Tested on 39 class XI students of Muhammadiyah 2 Mayong High School using a random sampling method. Based on the feasibility test of the question instrument, the result was 92.03 with the category very suitable for use. Meanwhile, for the validity test results, the score was 0.316 in the valid category, reliability 1 in the reliable category, difficulty level 0.24 and differential power 0.46 in the good category

Abstract

This research aims to explain the form of an authentic assessment instrument based on Google Sites to measure the learning outcomes of the IPAS Project on the Earth and Space aspects, as well as test its validity, reliability and practicality. The test subjects were 110 students. The data analysis technique uses Aiken's V for content validity, CFA for construct validity, ICC for interrater reliability, CR and VE for construct reliability, Cronbach's Alpha for internal reliability of the instrument, and percentage for practicality. The research results obtained three forms of authentic assessment instruments based on Google Sites that measure the learning outcomes of the IPAS Project, namely independent assignment assessment sheets, group project assignment assessment sheets, and objective tests. The instrument is valid in terms of both content validity and construct validity, except for items B2 and B4 so they must be removed from the model. The instrument is reliable in terms of interrater reliability, instrument reliability and construct reliability, except for dimension C which has a VE value below the criteria. A very practical instrument to use in measuring the learning outcomes of the IPAS Project.

Abstract

Graduates of the Vocational Education in Mechanical Engineering (PVTM) program at Ivet University have predominantly pursued careers in relevant fields of expertise. A total of 87% of alumni work as educators. According to the graduate profile, PVTM alumni are also projected to become industry instructors and entrepreneurs. However, a key issue arises regarding the implementation of the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI) curriculum in PVTM, which remains focused on less adaptable skills, leading to concerns about graduates' competencies in the industry. By integrating the concept of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) with the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) in the technical schema, graduate competencies are expected to be strengthened and better recognized in the industry. This study aims to design an OBE-integrated curriculum aligned with SKKNI to support the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiative in the Vocational Education in Mechanical Engineering program at Ivet University. The research employed the Borg and Gall research and development methodology, culminating in a hypothetical model represented by a draft curriculum ready for trial implementation. The findings resulted in an OBE-integrated curriculum draft aligned with SKKNI, targeting the Level IV Welding Inspector occupational schema, comprising: (1) Eighteen study topics forming eight core courses within the program; (2) A curriculum integrated with three key concepts: OBE, SKKNI, and Welding Inspector; (3) Study topics applicable to Merdeka Belajar activities such as independent studies, student exchange programs, and projects; (A survey of 10 expert respondents, where 83% strongly agreed, 12% agreed, and 5% were neutral regarding the draft curriculum's feasibility. Thus, it can be concluded that the developed curriculum draft is suitable for trial implementation.

Abstract

Chemistry is one of the subjects that is abstract and emphasizes concepts. This is often the cause of low levels of student understanding (misconceptions). Not only because of inappropriate learning methods or models, but less in-depth question instruments also increase students' misconceptions. This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the level of conceptual understanding of grade X students on the Periodic System of Elements (SPU) material which is basic material before other complex chemical materials. Misconception analysis was carried out using Rasch analysis from the results of the Three-Tier Multiple Choice Test (TTMCT) instrument. The method used is a quantitative method and expert validation was carried out by eight experts. The study was conducted in 5 schools (public-private). The results of the study showed that students' conceptual understanding was low and several misconceptions were found.
