Background: Labor is the process of delivering the fetus that occurs during a full-term pregnancy (37–42 weeks), with spontaneous birth in a cephalic (head-first) presentation, typically lasting within 18 hours and without complications for either the mother or baby. Labor can cause trauma for the mother due to the pain experienced. Some mothers may even develop psychological trauma, making them afraid to become pregnant and give birth again due to fear of experiencing the same pain. Therefore, reducing labor pain can help mothers go through the delivery process more comfortably. Objective: The purpose of this study is to gain deeper understanding and knowledge about the effectiveness of warm compress therapy and effleurage massage in reducing labor pain during the active phase of the first stage of labor. Method:This research is a quasi-experimental study using a design in which subjects in the experimental and control groups are not randomly selected. The approach used is a one-group post-test-only design. Results: The Wilcoxon test results showed a Z count of -5.069 and a Z table value of 1.69 at a 5% significance level. Since Z count > Z table and the p-value was 0.000 (p < 0.05), it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This indicates that there is a significant effect of warm compress and effleurage massage on reducing labor pain during the active phase of the first stage of labor. Conclusion: The application of warm compress therapy and effleurage massage can reduce labor pain during the active phase of the first stage of labor.

Background: The Family Planning Program (KB) is carried out in order to regulate the amount of intravenous oxytocin, which is a continuation of the induction of foley catheters and misoprostol. The induction of oxytocin stimulation and foley catheter is to open or soften the cervix. While the purpose of giving oxytocin is augmentation/stimulation, namely to stimulate contraction. Oxytocin is administered by mixing 2.5-5 units of oxytocin in 500 ml of crystalloid solution. Intravenous oxytocin begins with 8 drops per minute and is added 4 drops every 30 minutes with a maximum dose of 20 drops per minute. Objective: To determine the effect of oxytocin stimulation induction on the success of vaginal delivery in post-term pregnant women at the Samuel Maternity Clinic in 2020. Method: This type of research is analytic observational, which is research that tries to explore how and why health phenomena occur, then analyzes the dynamics of the correlation between the phenomenon of risk factors (influence) and effect factors (effects), thus this research is limited to observing not doing any manipulation or intervention. Conclusion: From the research results, there was a significant relationship between the type of induction and the type of delivery (p-value 0.071). The type of induction had a 1.73 times greater chance of experiencing vaginal delivery (95% CI 0.95-3.14). The parity factor showed a significant relationship with the type of delivery (p-value 0.015). Parity 1 had a 2.10 times greater risk of experiencing a CS labor than parity> 1 (95% CI 1.16-3.80). The results of the multivariate analysis showed that the parity factor had a greater effect than the oxytocin stimulation induction factor on the success of vaginal delivery.

Background:Nausea and vomiting usually occur only in the first trimester, but 20% of women experience these symptoms throughout pregnancy. Hyperemesis gravidarum is found in only 1–20 cases per 1,000 pregnant women. Although this condition is relatively rare, it has significant clinical and social impacts. Husband’s support is important during pregnancy because the husband is the closest person to the expectant mother. He is expected to continuously motivate and accompany her. Moreover, the support provided by the husband during pregnancy can help reduce anxiety and restore the mother’s confidence in going through the pregnancy process. Objective:To determine the relationship between husband’s support and nutritional status with the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum among first trimester pregnant women at the Rusip Antara Community Health Center, Central Aceh District. Method:This study used an analytical survey method with a cross-sectional design. Data were collected at one point in time using accidental sampling. The sample consisted of 46 first-trimester pregnant women. Results:The study found a relationship between husband’s support and nutritional status with the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum among pregnant women in the first and second trimesters. Pregnant women with poor nutritional status were found to have a 10.3 times higher risk of experiencing hyperemesis gravidarum compared to those with good nutritional status. Conclusion:There is a relationship between husband’s support and nutritional status with the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum among first trimester pregnant women. Background : Non-regular undergraduate midwifery students have received courses on midwifery care using a complementary approach, one of which includes the use of herbal remedies. However, these courses have not specifically addressed all types of herbs and their benefits as part of complementary therapy. Objective : To determine the knowledge of non-regular undergraduate midwifery students at UNISM regarding the use of Moringa leaves (Moringa Oleifera) to overcome anemia during pregnancy. Method : This study is descriptive in nature. The population consisted of non-regular undergraduate midwifery students at UNISM. The sampling technique used was systematic sampling. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire distributed via Google Form. Results : Out of 69 respondents, 35 (50.7%) had good knowledge, 31 (44.9%) had moderate knowledge, and 3 (4.3%) had poor knowledge. Conclusion : The study results show that among non-regular undergraduate midwifery students, 50.7% had good knowledge about the use of Moringa leaves (Moringa Oleifera) to overcome anemia during pregnancy, while 4.3% had poor knowledge. Based on these findings, the researcher assumes that one strategy the Midwifery Study Program could implement is to review the course syllabus (RPS) to ensure that the complementary subject includes specific content on herbal remedies, particularly Moringa leaves. Background:Smooth breast milk (ASI) production is very important for ensuring a food source for breastfeeding infants. The smooth flow of breast milk is influenced by many factors, or multifactorial causes. Approximately 30% of postpartum mothers are unable to breastfeed their babies. About 35% of breastfeeding mothers face difficulties in providing breast milk due to problems with milk production. According to the 2021 Health Profile Report from the South Kalimantan Provincial Health Office, the rate of exclusive breastfeeding in South Kalimantan in 2020 was 50.16%, while in Banjarmasin City it was only 32.14% for babies aged 0–6 months. Mothers who are unable to breastfeed in the early days of the postpartum period are often affected by anxiety and fear over low milk production, as well as a lack of knowledge about the breastfeeding process. Therefore, efforts to facilitate breast milk production in postpartum mothers are necessary. Objective:To evaluate and assess the effect of Oketani massage on the smooth production of breast milk in postpartum mothers at RSKIA Annisa Banjarmasin. Method:This study is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. Sampling was done using purposive sampling technique, with a total of 30 postpartum mothers who gave birth at RSKIA Annisa Banjarmasin. Data were analyzed using the Paired T-Test. Results:The results showed that the mean breast milk production before Oketani massage was 8.93, increasing to 38.30 after the massage was administered. The significance value was p = 0.000 (≤ 0.05). Conclusion:There is a significant effect of Oketani massage on the smooth production of breast milk in postpartum mothers at RSKIA Annisa Banjarmasin. Keywords: Breast Milk Production, Oketani Massage
