Abstract

Background: Women of Reproductive Age (WRA) are defined by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia as women between the ages of 15 and 49. Women in this age group fall into the "4 Too" risk category when pregnant. The "4 Too" conditions refer to giving birth too young, too often, too close in spacing, and too old. Objective: To identify the risk group of Women of Reproductive Age in the working area of the Guntung Community Health Center (UPT Puskesmas Guntung). Method: This research used a descriptive method with a sample of 113 Women of Reproductive Age who visited the Guntung Health Center. The sample was taken using a total sampling technique. Results: Women of Reproductive Age in the Guntung Health Center working area showed the following distribution based on the "4 Too" risks: Too young (<20 years old) 29 women (26%), Too old (>35 years old) 34 women (30%), Multiparous (≥2 children) 23 women (29%), Too close spacing between births 22 women (19%), Chronic illness (Hypertension) 25 women (22%), Chronic illness (Anemia) 20 women (18%) Conclusion: The risk groups among Women of Reproductive Age in the Guntung Health Center working area fall into the "4 Too" categories, Too young (<20 years) 29 women, Too old (>35 years) 34 women, Multiparous (≥2 children) 23 women, Too close in spacing 22 women, In addition, 25 women had chronic illnesses such as Hypertension, and 20 women had Anemia. Abstract

Background: Indonesia ranks fourth with the largest population in the world. Family planning (KB) is carried out to space births. The highest duration of injection contraception users was 1 month, namely 3-5 years, with 24 people (46.15%) and those who had an impact on the duration of using 1 month injection contraception, namely menstrual disorders as many as 30 people (57.69%). Objective: Identifying the impact of prolonged use of contraception by 1-month injectable family planning acceptors at PMB NAA Banjarmasin. Methods: This research uses a quantitative descriptive and cross-sectional design. The population of all 1-month injection contraceptive acceptors who visited in February was 108 respondents with a sample of 52 people based on accidental sampling technique. Retrieval of data through a checklist sheet with univariate analysis. Result: Most of the respondents experienced the impact of menstrual disorders 57.69%, vaginal discharge 9.61%, decreased libido 7.69% and changes in body weight 25% with a duration of 3-5 years 46.15%. the impact of menstrual disorders, vaginal discharge, decreased libido, changes in weight with a duration of 1 month use of injectable contraception. Conclusion: There is an impact of menstrual disorders on the duration of 1 month use of injectable contraception. Keywords: Contraceptive acceptor, 1 month injection

Abstract

Background: Exclusive breastfeeding for babies is very important and given until the baby is 6 months old. Breast milk, which is produced naturally by the body, contains nutrients that are important for the growth and development of babies, such as vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates and fats. One of the obstacles experienced by breastfeeding mothers in exclusive breastfeeding is if the mother works as an employee in an agency, both government and private. Objective: To find out the Utilization of the ASI Booth in the North Hulu Sungai District Government Office. Methods: This type of research with quantitative research with a descriptive observational design. The sample is the Head of Service and breastfeeding mothers who work in 6 Offices of North Hulu Sungai Regency in January 2023 totaling 34 people, taken using a total sampling technique. Retrieval of data using observation sheets. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis. Results: Almost all of the respondents were aged 20-35 years, almost all of the respondents' children were >6 months old, almost all of the respondents' homes to the office were ≤5 Km and all of the respondents worked 8 hours per day. Utilization of ASI booths in 6 Offices of Hulu Sungai Utara District for mothers who use them and Leaders/Management, all respondents stated that the utilization of ASI booths was optimal (100%). Conclusion: Utilization of ASI booths in 6 Offices of Hulu Sungai Utara District for mothers who use them and for Leaders/Management, all respondents stated that the utilization of ASI booths was optimal. Abstract

Background: Menopause is a normal life event which is marked by the physiological cessation of the last menstruation which is related to the elderly level of a woman. Women who use hormonal contraception will enter menopause longer or older. Objective: To determine the relationship between history of contraceptive use and history of chronic disease using the menopause rating scale (MRS) in women aged 45-55 years at the Dirgahayu Health Center, Kotabaru District. Methods: This study used an analytic survey with a cross-sectional approach. A sample of 30 mothers used accidental sampling. Data collection used a questionnaire which was analyzed in the form of a frequency distribution which was analyzed using the chi square test. Results: Most of the history of contraception use in women aged 45-55 years used hormonal as many as 19 people (63.3%). Mothers with mild and severe premenopausal complaints were 15 people (50.0%). Obtained a significant value of p = 0.014 (p.value <0.05), there is a relationship between history of contraceptive use and a history of chronic disease using the menopause rating scale (MRS) in women aged 45-55 years. Conclusion: there is a relationship between history of contraceptive use and history of chronic disease using the menopause rating scale (MRS) in women aged 45-55 years.

Abstract

Background: Nausea and vomiting (emesis gravidarum) is a condition of nausea and vomiting commonly found in pregnant women that appears in the first trimester of pregnancy, namely the second or eighth week after conception. One of the efforts to overcome nausea and vomiting is non-pharmacological therapy, for example giving white ginger drink which contains gingerol which has anti-nausea and vomiting properties. Objective:. To determine the effectiveness of white ginger drink (Zingber officinale var.amarum) in reducing nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women at PMB Aulia Insani. Methods: His type of research uses Quasy Experimental with Pre Posttest with Control Design. In this design, it was divided into two groups, namely the control group (not given white ginger drink) and the treatment group (given white ginger drink) before the treatment was given, previously the sample was given a pretest and after the experiment the sample was given a posttest.Result: There is effectiveness of white ginger drink in reducing nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women, because white ginger contains shogaol and gingerol compounds which can act as anti-nauseaConclusion: There is effectiveness of white ginger drink in reducing nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women, because white ginger contains shogaol and gingerol compounds which can act as anti-nauseaKeywords: White ginger drink, nausea and vomiting, first trimester pregnant women.

Abstract

Background: Pre-eclampsia is one of the causes of maternal death in Indonesia. Obesity in pregnancy is a sign of a risk factor for pre-eclampsia. At H.Boejasin Hospital, there were maternal deaths due to pre-eclampsia. There are several predisposing factors that cause Pre-Eclampsia, including age, parity, education and others. Objective:. To Knowing the factors that can cause pre-eclampsia at H. Boejasin Hospital. Methods: Using a purposive sampling technique, with a minimum sample of 30 respondents, divided into 2 groups, namely the case and control groups, each consisting of 15 respondents.Results: In pregnancies with PE, obesity is caused by metabolic disorders in the body, high Hb levels are caused by endothelial dysfunction, and the presence of protein in the urine is due to inflammation of the glomeruli which causes glomerular filter function to be disrupted. A pregnant woman can be said to have pre-eclampsia if hypertension is found. cerebral disturbances and epigastric pain even in the absence of protein in the urine.Result: In pregnancies with PE, obesity is caused by metabolic disorders in the body, high Hb levels are caused by endothelial dysfunction, and the presence of protein in the urine is due to inflammation of the glomeruli which causes glomerular filter function to be disrupted. Abstract

Background: According to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) 1,220,900 girls in Indonesia were married before the age of 18. This figure places Indonesia among the 10 countries with the largest number of child marriages in the world. Objective: It is known that there is a relationship between early marriage and the ability of mothers to care for newborns in the Hanau sub-district. Methods: This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach, the number of samples used was 32 respondents, the measuring instrument used a questionnaire, with an ordinal measurement scale, the data obtained was processed using the Lambda correlation test.Result: The results of the study from 32 respondents to the sex of the baby were mostly female 59.4%, at the highest education level SMA 68.8%, children aged 1-12 months there were 37.5%. In the results, mothers <20 years have moderate ability to care for babies with a correlation of 0.024 p value <0.0005 which means (<0.05).Conclusion: In the study, the p value was 0.024 <0.05, which means that there is a relationship between the age of marriage and the ability of mothers to care for babies and toddlers, so it is recommended that among others it is expected to increase public awareness at the age of marriage because it will be difficult to care for their own babies because prospective mothers have not fully received Knowledge of proper baby care Keywords: Early Marriage, Baby Care, BBL

Abstract

Background: Nutritional problem that threatens the quality of life Stunting is a chronic malnutrition process that has a short-term impact in the form of a condition of failure to grow and a long-term impact in the form of low productivity in young adulthood and the risk of developing degenerative diseases. Stunting is a serious concern at this time, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. Objective: To prevent stunting through the application of the contents of my plate to increase hemoglobin levels in young women of MTS Negeri 4 Tanah Laut. Methods: a quasi-experimental study, namely onegroup pretest posttest design, with a sample of 30 people all will be checked for hemoglobin levels. 10 samples of students who had hemoglobin levels <12 gr/dL, 10 samples were randomly sampled for control but were not treated. Results: Application of plate contents was proven to affect the hemoglobin levels of young women, proving that this application pringku can increase hemoglobin levels in young women, Hemoglobin levels of young women MTSN Tanah Laut were proven to increase by an average of 2.36 gr / dl, the party that has the most important role in improving the nutrition of children, especially adolescents, is the parents. Conclusion: the school always reminds its students about healthy food and their diet. Parents understand, understand the importance of maintaining their children's health, not just being fed, but must be maintained nutrition, protein and so on so that children's growth and development can run well. Abstract

Background: Children who are breastfed have higher intelligence test results. In addition, they have a lower chance of being obese or overweight. Puskesmas Sikui ranks 5th for the achievement of Exclusive Breastfeeding. During the postpartum and lactation period, people consume a lot of herbs, because they believe that herbal medicine can launch breast milk, one of which  is the traditional gepyokan   herbal medicine consisting of ginger, turmeric kencur, temulawak and katuk leaves. The content in it has various properties and is natural without preservatives and chemicals that can damage the health of the body. Objective: Knowing the effectiveness of giving Gepyokan traditional herbal medicine to smooth breast milk for postpartum mothers in the working area of the Sikui Health Center Method  : Research Method using Pre Experiment with One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The sampling technique is determined based on purposive sampling. Results : Univariate results, pretest 9 (90%) of 10  respondents breastfeeding is not smooth. 1 (10%) breast milk is smooth. 9 (90%) respondents consume herbal medicine regularly, 1 (10%) respondents do not regularly consume herbal medicine. Posttest results 9 (90%) respondents breastfed smoothly and 1 (10%) breast milk is not smooth. Bivariate results, normality test using Shapiro-wilk abnormal data results. Then an alternative test using Wilcoxon, the result of H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion : Gepyokan traditional herbal medicine can launch breast milk for postpartum mothers in the Sikui Health Center Working Area.   Keywords: puerperal mother, gepyokan traditional jamu, smooth breastfeeding

Abstract

Background: In Indonesia in 2021 it was 57.4%. Based on provincial distribution, the highest prevalence rate of family planning use is south Kalimantan, which is 67.9%. Various factors influence postpartum mothers in choosing the right contraceptive according to their needs. Objective:. Analyze and identify what factors are related to the selection of Injectable Contraceptives as Postpartum Family Planning at the Banjarmasin Terminal Health Center. Methods: The method used in this study is the Cross Sectional method. By using a simple random sampling technique in sampling, the number of samples was obtained from 224 postpartum mothers. Data analysis using chi square test. Result: The results of the study that chose Injectable Birth Control were much more, namely 198 people (88.39%) compared to those who chose Non-Injectable Birth Control which was 26 people (11.61 %). The results of the chi square test on age were obtained that there were 25% cells with an expected value of < 5 so, the fisher exact test used with a p-value of 0.279. The results of the chi square test on education obtained a p-value with a value of 0.615. And the results of the chi square test against parity obtained a p-value with a value of 0.005. Conclusion: There is a relationship between parity and the selection of injectable contraceptives as postpartum birth control, while other factors such as age and education are not related to the selection of injectable contraceptives as postpartum birth control at the Banjarmasin Terminal Health Center.
