Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology and social media has significantly transformed consumer behavior in the modern era. TikTok has emerged as one of the most influential social media platforms, particularly among young consumers, due to its ability to present visually appealing and engaging content. Aesthetic visual content refers to videos or images designed with attractive concepts, harmonious color combinations, proper lighting, modern editing techniques, and creative visual presentations that enhance audience engagement. This study aims to analyze the influence of aesthetic visual content on consumer interest through TikTok social media, specifically focusing on aesthetic beverage content in Tuban. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The findings reveal that aesthetic visual content significantly affects consumer attention, curiosity, emotional attraction, and purchasing intention. Attractive visual elements encourage consumers to explore products further and increase the likelihood of purchase decisions. Moreover, TikTok contributes to the development of new digital consumption patterns in which consumers are more attracted to products with appealing visual presentations than conventional promotional methods. This study highlights the importance of visual marketing strategies in influencing consumer behavior, particularly among young digital consumers.

Abstract

Indonesia's micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) sector continues to expand rapidly, a trend reinforced by widespread digital adoption among more than 221 million internet users nationwide. While this growth opens considerable opportunities, it simultaneously confronts business owners with the challenge of stimulating consumer purchase intention. This study examines how content marketing, brand awareness, and business location relate to purchase intention among customers of UMKM Emkaje Konveksi dan Bordir in Kediri City. A quantitative causal-associative design was employed through a cross-sectional survey involving 80 respondents selected via convenience sampling, with data gathered through a Google Form questionnaire built on a five-point Likert scale and examined using multiple linear regression in SPSS 25. The findings reveal a mixed pattern across the three predictors: content marketing alone failed to produce a meaningful effect (t = -0.030, sig. = 0.977), whereas brand awareness emerged as a strong positive predictor (t = 5.325, sig. = 0.000) alongside business location (t = 2.844, sig. = 0.006). When considered jointly, all three variables exerted a significant combined effect on purchase intention (F = 63.778, sig. = 0.000), accounting for 70.4% of its variance based on the Adjusted R² value. These results point to brand-building and locational accessibility as the priority levers for MSMEs seeking to strengthen their marketing strategy in a digitally driven marketplace

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the effects of price, income level, and travel distance on the demand for online motorcycle taxi services in Pekanbaru. The study employed a quantitative approach using primary data obtained through a questionnaire distributed to online motorcycle taxi users. The sample consisted of 100 respondents selected using quota sampling. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with natural logarithmic (ln) transformation, supported by tests of classical assumptions and hypothesis testing via the t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that price has a positive and significant effect on the demand for online motorcycle taxi services. Income has a positive but insignificant effect, while travel distance has a negative and significant effect on demand. Collectively, price, income, and travel distance were found to influence the demand for online motorcycle taxi services. The Adjusted R² value of 0.873 indicates that 87.3% of the variation in demand can be explained by these three variables, while the remainder is influenced by other factors outside the research model.

This study aims to analyze the effect of Maintenance Reminder Appointment on customer retention in the service department of Auto2000 Pasteur. The research data were collected from 352 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach, and the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results indicate that Maintenance Reminder Appointment has a significant effect on customer retention, contributing 61.2%.

Abstract

The culinary sector of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) plays a crucial role in supporting the economy, but they still face financial management challenges such as mixing personal and business funds, weak planning, and poor bookkeeping. These conditions are prone to triggering Financial Distress, which impacts the Financial Well-Being of business owners. This quantitative explanatory research aims to analyze the influence of Intellectual Capital and Financial Literacy on Financial Well-Being, with Financial Distress as a mediating variable, in the culinary MSME Baking Lovers Lawang (BLL) Community in Malang Regency. The research population included 545 MSMEs, with a sample of 85 respondents determined using the Slovin formula (10% error tolerance) and proportional random sampling techniques. Data collection utilized a five-point Likert scale questionnaire distributed via Google Form, supported by secondary data from related literature. Data analysis used SPSS for descriptive statistics and SmartPLS 4 with the SEM-PLS method, including evaluation of the outer model, inner model, and bootstrapping procedures. The results of the investigation proved that Intellectual Capital and Financial Literacy had a significant positive effect on Financial Well-Being, but a significant negative impact on Financial Distress. On the other hand, Financial Distress has a significant negative effect on Financial Well-Being and is proven to mediate the relationship between the two independent variables.

The population consisted of consumers who had seen or purchased Kerupuk Cikur Silawas products in Tasikmalaya Regency. A total of 100 respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that branding has a positive and significant effect on product attractiveness, with a t-value of 4.726 and a significance level of 0.000. Packaging also has a positive and significant effect on product attractiveness, with a t-value of 4.667 and a significance level of 0.000. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.568 indicates that branding and packaging explain 56.8% of the variation in product attractiveness, while the remaining 43.2% is influenced by other factors not included in the research model. These findings suggest that strengthening branding and improving packaging can enhance product attractiveness. Therefore, both aspects should receive greater attention from MSMEs owners as strategic efforts to improve product competitiveness in the market.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of innovation and entrepreneurial orientation on the competitive advantage of food sector MSMEs in Kecamatan Singaparna, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Culinary MSMEs serve a crucial function within the Indonesian economy, accounting substantially for job creation as well as gross domestic product; nevertheless, numerous encounter obstacles in sustaining competitive advantage because of limited innovativeness and weak entrepreneurial orientation, particularly in semi-urban areas like Singaparna. The present investigation adopted a quantitative correlational design through a survey approach. Research data were gathered by means of standardized survey questionnaires employing a five-point Likert scale involving eighty-seven MSME entrepreneurs chosen through purposive sampling together with the Slovin formula. The collected data underwent multiple linear regression analysis utilizing IBM SPSS. The findings indicate that innovation exhibits a positive and substantial impact on market competitiveness, and entrepreneurial orientation also has a positive and significant effect on competitiveness. Together, these two variables explain 72.5% of the variance in MSME competitiveness (Adjusted R² = 0.725). These findings support Schumpeter’s Theory of Economic Development and Lumpkin & Dess’s Entrepreneurial Orientation Theory. Practically, the study implies that culinary MSME actors need to enhance product, process, marketing, and organizational innovation while strengthening innovative, proactive, risk-taking, autonomous, and aggressive behaviors to improve competitiveness. This research fills a contextual gap by focusing on a semi-urban district where such studies remain limited.”.
