Abstract

The aims of this research are: (1) To obtain an overview of the morals of students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai; (2) To analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of improving the noble morals of students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai; (3) To explain the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving the noble morals of students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai. This research was written using qualitative research methods with normative theological, pedagogical and psychological approaches. The research instruments are observation guidelines and interview guidelines. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that: (1) The morals of students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai are good. This can be seen from the implementation of congregational prayers which are running smoothly, the implementation of the culture of greetings is also going according to expectations, every student when they meet the school community always say hello, including when entering class. Furthermore, the clean culture also works effectively, because students are always enthusiastic about participating in clean Saturdays and throw away rubbish in the right place; (2) The supporting factor for the implementation of improving the noble morals of students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai is the full support of the school principal and teachers through example, adequate facilities and infrastructure such as prayer rooms and healthy canteens. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors are the social conditions of students' households, the environment outside of school and students who do not yet understand the importance of noble morals; (3) The efforts of Islamic religious education teachers to improve the noble morals of students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai are to provide good examples regarding the implementation of the culture of greetings, clean culture and the habit of praying in congregation as well as providing sanctions for students who enter class without saying hello.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze Arabic language learning methods at the Darul Hikmah Modern Islamic Boarding School in Medan. In its implementation, researchers used a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The samples used were the Head of the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Modern Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School in Medan, Arabic language teachers and class VII students. Data collection carried out by researchers was in the form of observations, interviews, documentation taken when students were learning Arabic and carrying out triangulation to find the validity of the data obtained. The results of the research show that the method used by teachers at the Medan Darul Hikmah Modern Islamic Boarding School in learning Arabic is to use the reading method (Maharah Qira'ah) and the tarjamah method. With the Arabic language learning methods that have been implemented by the Darul Hikmah Modern Islamic Boarding School, Arabic language learning runs smoothly and students' ability to learn Arabic increases. The components contained in it are learning media and learning methods. With the efforts to improve Arabic language learning at the Darul Hikmah Medan Modern Islamic Boarding School, the application of Arabic language learning methods by teachers can improve students' Arabic language skills in everyday life in the Islamic boarding school environment and likewise students' ability to speak Arabic as well. more increasing.

Abstract

Learning media in the form of images is an intermediary tool used by educators in the teaching and learning process so that learning objectives can run well and can help students to increase interest in learning. This study aims to determine the application of media images in increasing students' learning interest in Fiqh lessons at MTs Aisyiyah Binjai City. This type of research is qualitative research, in which the researcher describes the application of media images in increasing students' interest in learning Fiqh at MTs Aisyiyah Kota Binjai through interviews as well as observation and documentation. The research subjects consisted of school principals, Fiqh teachers, and all students of class VII. The results showed that the teacher's strategy in using media images in increasing student learning interest in class VII Fiqh lessons at MTs Aisyiyah namely: carrying out the activity steps listed in the lesson plans, explaining material, providing material reinforcement materials such as textbooks, carrying out activities evaluation.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons in instilling religious character in children with autism spectrum disorder. The subjects of the study consist of students with autism spectrum disorder who are participating in PAI lessons at Semesta Mandiri Sunggal School. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of PAI lessons for children with autism spectrum disorder requires a different approach compared to typical children. The approaches used include adjusting the teaching materials, using engaging learning media, and employing interactive teaching methods. Additionally, the role of PAI teachers is very important in providing guidance and motivation to students. Through PAI lessons, children with autism spectrum disorder show development in aspects of religious character, such as increased awareness of worship, understanding of religious values, and more positive social behavior. In conclusion, the structured and adaptive implementation of PAI lessons can be effective in instilling religious character in children with autism spectrum disorder. This research recommends special training for PAI teachers in managing learning for autistic students, as well as support from parents and the school environment to achieve optimal results.

Islamic education at the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW was a period of fostering Islamic education by cultivating Islamic education in daily life in accordance with the teachings of the Qur’an. Education during the Umayyad period experienced development when viewed from the aspect of teaching, although the system was still the same as at the time of the Prophet and the Khulafaurrasyidin.

Abstract

Religious education is a structured effort to teach religious values, in this case the effort includes cognitive, emotional and psychomotor aspects, but failed. This failure is caused by the failure of education to produce human resources who are critical, creative, innovative, dignified, ethical and moral. So far the new learning process has been able to touch cognitive and emotional aspects so that it makes a significant contribution in reaching the psychomotor domain. The latter is very important for religious communities. This is related to human sensitivity in social life. Seeing this reality, serious attention needs to be given to Islamic education, especially in Indonesia, to demand empowerment and contribute to efforts to reshape this situation. Of course, this need takes into account the connectedness and role of the Indonesian community, which is predominantly Muslim, in educational activities. Therefore, considering changing times, breakthroughs are needed such as changes to models and implementation strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to explore efforts to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects about plane figures in class IV elementary school through the use of teaching aids in the form of blocks and cubes. The experimental method was used involving two groups of students: a control group that did not use props and a treatment group that used props. Data was collected through tests before and after treatment to assess improvements in learning outcomes. The results showed that the use of block and cube props significantly increased students' understanding of flat shapes. The implications of this research suggest the importance of integrating teaching aids in mathematics learning in elementary schools to improve student understanding of concepts and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Dhuha Prayer is implemented in improving the religious character of students at MAN 1 Padang Lawas. The type of research in this thesis is qualitative research, which places more emphasis on the analysis of the inference process inductive. The approach used by the author is a descriptive approach, The situation described in this study is the implementation of Duha prayer in improving the religious character of students at MAN 1 Padang Lawas. Data collection was carried out by conducting observations, interviews, documentation. Data analysis using data reduction analysis, data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that through the implementation of Duha prayer, students will have a better understanding of the importance of Duha prayer as a recommended sunnah practice. They will realize the benefits and virtues of this dhuha prayer in enhancing their relationship with Allah and strengthening spiritual bonds. The school principal and teachers have provided education about the procedures for Dhuha prayer, its virtues, and provided motivation to students. With a good understanding, students will be motivated to carry out Duha prayers regularly and with high awareness. Principals and teachers are exemplary examples in carrying out Dhuha prayers. By seeing their consistent Dhuha prayer practice, students will be inspired and motivated to follow it.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of using audiovisual media on students' learning interest in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan. The research aims to determine whether the integration of audiovisual media in IRE lessons can enhance students' motivation and engagement in learning. The study employs a quantitative approach with a pre-test and post-test design, involving 100 students as participants. The data collected through questionnaires and tests were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results show a significant increase in students' learning interest after the implementation of audiovisual media in the classroom. The findings suggest that audiovisual media effectively captures students' attention and stimulates their interest in IRE, leading to improved learning outcomes. This study highlights the importance of incorporating innovative teaching methods, such as audiovisual media, in enhancing the quality of education and fostering greater student engagement.

Abstract

Membangun pembelajaran inovatif bisa dilakukan dengan cara memanfaatkan aplikasi Ms Excel pada materi statistik di kelas VII SMP Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efektifitas pe- manfaatan Ms Excel dalam pembelajaran di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pene- litian ekperimen yang membandingkan prestasi belajar matema- tika peserta didik kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya yang memanfaatkan Ms Excel dan yang tidak memanfaatkan Ms Excel. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah pemanfaatan Ms Excel pada pembelajaran statistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan rata-rata perbedaan prestasi belajar statistik yang memanfaat- kan Ms Excel dalam pembelajaran adalah 7,94 sedangkan kel- ompok siswa yang tidak memanfaatkan adalah 5,89. Hasil uji menunjukkan nilai signifikasi 0,007, dengan level signifikansi 0,05 yang artinya ada perbedaan prestasi belajar statistik siswa antara yang memanfaatkan dan tidak memanfaatkan Ms Excel. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan Ms Excel pada statistik memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan.
