Abstrak Sastra anak, salah satunya, novel merupakan salah satu media untuk menuliskan gagasan, pikiran, imajinasi, dan kreativitas dalam bentuk karangan tertulis, tercetak, atau tertutur yang bersifat fiksi. Sastra anak adalah cabang studi sastra yang meneliti karya sastra yang dibuat oleh anak-anak atau karya sastra yang ditujukan kepada pembaca anak-anak. Novel Cinderella dan Sang Penyihir adalah objek kajian yang ditelaah untuk memaparkan unsur-unsur intrinsik dalam cerita melalui apresiasi sastra. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dan memaparkan unsur-unsur intrinsik pada novel berbahasa Indonesia Cinderella dan Sang Penyihir, serta mengapresiasi karya sastra anak perspektif teori sastra. Masalah yang diteliti dalam penelitian berkaitan dengan kurangnya apresiasi terhadap karya anak, seperti, apresiasi kritis, empatis, didaktis, ataupun estetis, serta kurangnya kajian yang menjadikan tulisan-tulisan anak, seperti, novel KKPK sebagai objek analisis. Implementasi metode kualitatif berpijak pada teknik pengumpulan dan pengolahan data, meliputi, (1) analisis deskripsi, (2) studi pustaka, (3) teknik SBPC (Simak, Baca, Pahami, Catat) dan teknik membaca 4S (skimming, scanning, selecting, skipping). Dasar teori yang menjadi acuan penelitian ini adalah studi sastra anak. Melalui implementasi metode dan teori tersebut, ditemukan urgensi apresiasi sastra dalam analisis novel karya anak terhadap unsur-unsur intrinsik dalam cerita yang diteliti melalui apresiasi estetis. Unsur-unsur pembentuk dan nilai-nilai pendukung cerita diketahui melalui studi apresiasi. Dalam penelitian ini, studi apresiasi diterapkan untuk memaparkan unsur instrinsik termasuk nilai moral dalam novel Cinderella dan Sang Penyihir. Maka, dapat disimpulkan apresiasi terhadap karya sastra berkorelasi dengan analisis unsur intrinsik sehingga terdapat relevansi teori dengan hasil kajian. Abstract Children's literature, one of which is novels, is a medium for expressing ideas, thoughts, imagination, and creativity in the form of written, printed, or spoken fiction. Children's literature is a branch of literary studies that examines literary works created by children or literary works intended for child readers. The novel Cinderella dan Sang Penyihir (Cinderella and the Wizard) is the object of study that is examined to describe the intrinsic elements in the story through literary appreciation. This research aims to analyze and describe the intrinsic elements in the Indonesian novel Cinderella dan Sang Penyihir, as well as to appreciate children's literature from a literary theory perspective. The issues examined in this study relate to the lack of appreciation for children's works, such as critical, empathetic, didactic, or aesthetic appreciation, as well as the lack studies that use children's writings, such as KKPK novels as objects of analysis. The implementation qualitative methods is based on data collection and processing techniques, including (1) descriptive analysis, (2) literature study, (3) SBPC (Simak Baca Pahami Catat) technique, and 4S reading technique (skimming, scanning, selecting, skipping). The theoretical basis for this study is children's literature studies. Through the implementation of these methods and theories, the urgency of literary appreciation in the analysis of children's novels on the intrinsic elements in the stories studied through aesthetic appreciation was found. The elements that form and support the values of the story are known through appreciation studies. In this study, appreciation studies were applied to describe the intrinsic elements, including moral values, in the novel Cinderella and the Witch. Therefore, it can be concluded that appreciation of literary works correlates with the analysis of intrinsic elements, thus demonstrating the relevance of the theory to the results of study.
