Abstract

This study is to analyze the Influence of Transformational Leadership Style on Employee Performance Through Motivation and Work Environment (Study at the Bandung Cibeunying Pratama Tax Service Office in 2022). This research was conducted at the Bandung Cibeunying Primary Tax Service Office in 2022. This research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. Samples were taken using the saturated sampling technique, with a sample of 115 respondents. The method of collecting data related to the research problem was carried out using the questionnaire method. The analysis in this study uses PLS. The results of the study show that Transformational Leadership has a significant effect on work motivation, Transformational leadership has a significant effect on work motivation, work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance, the work environment is not significant in improving performance, external motivation has an effect on the work environment, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the work environment and transformational leadership has a significant effect on the work environment. Performance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of working capital on firm value. This is a quantitative study that explains the relationship or influence between variables. The sample used consists of 30 companies over the period 2018-2022, with 150 financial report data points. This research uses secondary data obtained from the annual financial reports of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression. The independent variables in this research are the working capital structure and working capital turnover. The dependent variable in this research is firm value. Based on the analysis results, it shows that, simultaneously, working capital turnover and working capital structure do not affect firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of reward and punishment on work motivation and employee performance, and to analyze whether work motivation can improve employee performance at RSD dr. H. Soemarno Sosroatmodjo Tanjung Selor. Using a quantitative approach and survey method, data were collected through a questionnaire as the main instrument. In addition, observations were conducted to examine the actual conditions in the field. The collected data were then tested for validity, reliability, and classical assumptions to ensure data accuracy. Data analysis techniques included t-test, F-test, path analysis, and coefficient of determination test (R²). The results showed that reward had a significant effect on motivation (p = 0.000) and employee performance (p = 0.001), but not indirectly through motivation (p = 0.677). Punishment also had a significant effect on motivation (p = 0.031) and directly on performance (p = 0.031), but not indirectly (p = 0.364). Motivation was found to have no significant effect on performance (p = 0.669) due to the structured work system through KPI.

Abstract

This research aims at investigating the predictive ability of social media use, religiosity and social support on mental health among undergraduate samples in Nigeria. Cross-sectional survey design was adopted while purposive sampling technique was used to select the study population. Data were collected from 401 undergraduates using validated questionnaires and analyzed using hierarchical   multiple regression to test one hypothesis which was accepted at p <.001 level of significance. The result revealed that social media use, religiosity and social support jointly predicted mental health among study participants [R2 = .31, F (3, 398) = 28.952, p <.001). Furthermore the result showed that social media use (β =.193, p <.001) and religiosity (β = .45, p <.001) independently predicted mental health among study participants. The study concluded that social media use, religiosity and social support are strong predictors of mental health among undergraduate samples. It is recommended that the university authority should sensitize the students on the proper use of social media while the parents and other stakeholders should provide social support to the students to reduce any negative effects on their mental health.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the community-based drinking water supply and sanitation program (PAMSIMAS) in Telaga Biru District, Gorontalo Regency, focusing on three villages: Modelidu, Ulapato A, and Ulapato B. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the effectiveness of the program varies in each village, namely Modelidu and Ulapato A villages, the program has not been fully effective due to weak institutional management, low community participation, and limited infrastructure maintenance. Meanwhile, Ulapato B village shows successful program implementation with routine maintenance, good water quality, and active community participation. These findings indicate that the sustainability of the program is highly dependent on community participation, strengthening village institutions, and ongoing technical and policy support. This study recommends revitalizing management institutions and increasing community capacity as keys to the effectiveness of the community-based drinking water supply and sanitation program (PAMSIMAS) in rural areas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of competence, work environment, and work motivation on the performance of employees at the Office of Labor, Cooperatives, and SMEs in Gorontalo City. The data analysis methods used include Descriptive Statistical Test, Classical Assumption Test, Hypothesis Test, and Multiple Linear Analysis. The results of this study indicate that, based on the t-test results for the competence variable (X1) on employee performance (Y), the significance value is 0.037. It can be concluded that competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The t-test results for the work environment variable (X2) on employee performance (Y) show a significance value of 0.027. It can be concluded that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The t-test results for the work motivation variable (X3) on performance (Y) show a significance value of 0.032. It can be concluded that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The simultaneous test of the influence of competence (X1), work environment (X2), and work motivation (X3) on employee performance (Y) shows an F calculated value of 4.673, which is greater than the F table value of 2.960, and a significance value of 0.009, which is less than the probability value of 0.05. This means that simultaneously, competence (X1), work environment (X2), and work motivation (X3) have a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how young people engage in political activities through digital media and to what extent such activities reflect critical political consciousness and meaningful online activism. The research employs a descriptive-qualitative approach using literature analysis and secondary data from empirical studies on digital political participation conducted between 2015 and 2025. The development of digital technology has fundamentally transformed the forms and patterns of youth political participation. The findings indicate that social media has become a new arena for youth political expression and mobilization, with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and X (Twitter) playing a significant role in the dissemination of political information and social campaigns. However, most of these activities remain symbolic and are not accompanied by a substantive understanding of political issues. The phenomenon of slacktivism and the lack of political literacy remain major obstacles to achieving meaningful political engagement. This study concludes that digital democracy in Indonesia requires the strengthening of political literacy and critical awareness so that young people can move beyond being mere social media users to becoming reflective and constructive agents of social change.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation and factors that support and hinder the implementation of academic policies regarding the teaching and learning process (PBM) at Bojonegoro University. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that the academic implementation process of the Teaching and Learning Process (PBM) at Bojonegoro University includes: Policy interpretation based on the Rector's Decree of Bojonegoro University, its derivative regulations, human resources, budget, and facilities and infrastructure, policy socialization, policy implementation, and performance achievement. Meanwhile, internal factors that hinder policy implementation include: the absence of technical implementation guidelines, which affect the understanding, attitudes, and behavior of implementers; and external factors are the absence of government regulations that specifically regulate the academic implementation of the Teaching and Learning Process (PBM) at the university level and community participation within the Bojonegoro University environment to support academic activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi manajemen SDM yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan serta mendukung pencapaian tujuan perusahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus pada beberapa perusahaan yang menerapkan strategi SDM berbasis kinerja. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan manajer SDM, observasi langsung terhadap praktik pengelolaan karyawan, serta analisis dokumen perusahaan yang berkaitan dengan kebijakan SDM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang berfokus pada pengembangan kompetensi karyawan, penerapan sistem penghargaan yang adil, serta pembentukan budaya kerja kolaboratif dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi dan produktivitas tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dengan memberikan rekomendasi bagi perusahaan dalam merancang kebijakan SDM yang lebih adaptif terhadap perubahan lingkungan bisnis dan kebutuhan karyawan. Dengan memahami strategi manajemen SDM yang efektif, perusahaan dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih kondusif, meningkatkan loyalitas karyawan, serta mendorong pertumbuhan bisnis yang berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi akademisi dan praktisi dalam mengembangkan praktik manajemen SDM yang lebih inovatif dan strategis guna menghadapi tantangan bisnis di era modern.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social media, endorsements, and discounts on the consumer behavior of Islamic boarding school students, as well as to examine the role of religious values ​​and digital literacy as controlling factors in the context of digital consumption. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method through the SmartPLS application. Data were obtained from 102 student respondents in several Islamic boarding schools selected by purposive sampling technique, using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire as the main instrument. The results show that social media has a significant effect on the effectiveness of endorsements and student consumer behavior, while endorsements and discounts are proven to have a positive effect on consumer behavior. In addition, consumer behavior has a moderate effect on interest in discounts, indicating that price promotions are the main drivers of impulsive purchasing decisions. Religious values ​​and digital literacy were found to act as internal controlling factors that reduce the negative influence of social media on consumer behavior. The R² value of 0.487 indicates that this research model has a fairly good predictive ability in explaining student consumer behavior. The conclusion of this study confirms that the consumer behavior of Islamic boarding school students is formed through the interaction between exposure to social media, digital marketing strategies, and the level of internalization of religious values ​​and digital literacy.
