Abstract

The Bina Pribadi Islami (BPI) curriculum plays a key role in shaping students' moral character (akhlaqul karimah) at SDIT Ulul Albaab Weleri, Kendal. This study explores the strategies, processes, and impacts of the BPI curriculum in fostering Islamic values and noble character. Using qualitative methods, data were gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show effective integration of the BPI curriculum in daily activities, extracurricular programs, and school culture. Religious practices like tahfidzul Qur'an, dhuha prayers, and moral guidance significantly influence students' behavior, instilling Islamic values as the basis of character development.

Abstract

Islamic education is one of the important pillars in the development of a dignified society. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to improve the quality of Islamic education on an ongoing basis. One approach that can be used to improve the quality of Islamic education is to apply the concept of quality management. Quality management is an approach that focuses on meeting customer needs and satisfaction. In the context of Islamic education, customers are students, parents, the community, and other stakeholders. The application of the concept of quality management in Islamic education aims to produce graduates who have competencies that are in accordance with customer needs and expectations. The application of the concept of quality management in Islamic education can be studied from the perspective of the Qur'an and hadith. In the Qur'an, there are various verses that instruct Muslims to always try to improve their self-quality, both in terms of science, morals, and skills. This shows that Islam highly values quality and quality.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of fiqh teachers in improving the formation of students' honest character. Because apart from teaching fiqh subjects, fiqh teachers also have an important role in providing good role models for the development of dignified student character. This research uses qualitative. Data collection techniques, namely, observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that the role of fiqh teachers is a driving factor in improving the character of students at SMK Muhammadiyah 02 Boja. In particular, teachers act as motivators to encourage learning activities. Apart from that, the fiqh teacher as a guide in the character development of students at SMK Muhammadiyah 02 Boja as a teacher must try to provide various information about religious culture that is needed in the fiqh teaching and learning process, evaluating the results of fiqh learning at each stage. religious cultural activities carried out and creating appropriate opportunities for each student to study jurisprudence according to their individual characteristics, and the role of the jurisprudence teacher as an initiator in improving the character of students at SMK Muhammadiyah 02 Boja, namely displaying learning media, using cellphones and practicing. All of this is done so that students understand the material presented.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has a very vital role in shaping students' character, especially in Muhammadiyah schools which are known for their efforts to integrate Islamic values into every aspect of students' lives. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic Religious Education at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Boja, with an emphasis on the application of Islamic values and their impact on the formation of students' character. To achieve this goal, this study uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of PAI at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Boja does not only focus on teaching religious material alone, but also on forming students' attitudes and behaviors that are in line with Islamic teachings. Values such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, and compassion are integrated thoroughly in this education, which are applied through various activities both inside and outside the classroom.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the definition and scope of educational sociology as a scientific discipline that studies interactions between education and society. The main focus of this research is to identify various sociological aspects that influence the education system and how education plays a role in forming norms and values in society. The method used in this research is the literature study method. Data was collected through literature studies which included books, scientific articles and other related documents. This approach allows researchers to explore the concepts of educational sociology in depth and understand the social dynamics that influence education. The research results show that educational sociology does not only focus on educational institutions, but also on social, cultural and economic relationships that influence the educational process. In addition, this research identifies several factors such as social stratification, family roles, and media influence as important elements in understanding educational phenomena. Sociology of education functions as a tool for analyzing the challenges faced by the education system, as well as providing insight for improving education policy. With a better understanding of the definition and scope, it is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of the sociology of education and educational practice in society.

Abstract

Every living creature feels sleepiness, students often feel sleepy when they are in the learning process. Students are often unfocused, lethargic, and not enthusiastic about the learning process, especially at certain times, such as learning that occurs before dhuhur time. This research aims to optimize the learning process, find out the factors that cause drowsiness that occur in students during learning, and appropriate solutions so that students do not feel sleepy in class. The approach used is qualitative with case study research methods, through data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results and conclusions of the research show that the factors causing students' sleepiness during class are lack of sleep, lots of activities outside of learning hours, boredom felt by students, and lack of motivation from the teacher or from the students themselves. The solution to avoid students feeling sleepy during class is to improve the quality of sleep at night, increase interaction between teachers and students, improve the quality of learning by using appropriate learning methods, when the learning method is interesting for students, then students no longer feel sleepy, bored and lethargic in learning.

Abstract

Character education is an important issue in the context of modern Islamic education, which is confronted with various social, technological, and rapidly changing values. Ibn Khaldun, a 14th-century Muslim scholar, has relevant views on character education that can be applied in the context of modern Islamic education. This research utilizes a literature analysis method to understand Ibn Khaldun's views and concepts on character education. Data were collected from Ibn Khaldun's works related to education and character, such as "Muqaddimah" and other writings. The results of the analysis indicate that Ibn Khaldun considers character education as a crucial foundation for creating a quality society. Concepts such as ethics, social consciousness, leadership, and interpersonal skills are found in Ibn Khaldun's views on character education. This research discusses the relevance of Ibn Khaldun's views to the challenges of modern Islamic education. Through understanding Ibn Khaldun's concepts, modern Islamic education can face challenges by developing a curriculum that integrates character values, strengthens social awareness, trains leadership, and enhances students' interpersonal skills. This research contributes to theoretical and practical understanding in the field of character education and modern Islamic education. The findings of this research can provide guidance and guidance for educators, curriculum developers, and educational practitioners in addressing the challenges of modern Islamic education with an approach based on Ibn Khaldun's views on character education.

Abstract

Islamic education in the digital era is faced with two sides of the coin: challenges and opportunities. The main challenges lie in the authenticity of content, the digital divide, the quality of education, negative influences, and the lack of digital competence. However, behind that, there are great opportunities in the form of wide accessibility, innovative learning methods, strengthening communities, more effective dissemination of da'wah, and a variety of learning resources. To overcome these challenges and take advantage of these opportunities, collaborative efforts are needed from various parties, including the government, educational institutions, religious leaders, and the community. The development of relevant curricula, improving the digital competence of educators, and strengthening the digital literacy of the community are the keys to the success of Islamic education in the digital era.

Abstract

Islamic Cultural History Learning plays an important role in shaping students' understanding of the values, culture, and development of Islamic civilization from time to time. However, conventional learning approaches often cause boredom and difficulty in understanding the material in depth. This study aims to examine the implementation of the inquiry method in Islamic Cultural History learning and its impact on improving students' understanding of Islamic history. The inquiry method was chosen because it is participatory and investigative, which allows students to actively build knowledge through the process of asking questions, collecting information, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the application of the inquiry method can significantly increase students' learning engagement and conceptual understanding of Islamic cultural history material. Thus, the inquiry method can be used as an alternative effective and relevant learning strategy in the context of more meaningful and contextual Islamic history education

Abstract

Education in Islam has a unique and comprehensive concept, which not only includes intellectual aspects but also spiritual and moral aspects. This article examines the thoughts of two great figures in the Islamic world, namely Al-Ghazali and Ibn Sina, regarding the concept of education. Al-Ghazali emphasized the importance of education as a means of purifying the soul and approaching Allah, while Ibn Sina highlighted the intellectual and pedagogical development aspects in education.
