Hypertension can be treated traditionally with complementary therapies such as cupping therapy. Evaluation of the effectiveness of cupping therapy on blood pressure reduction is thought to be influenced by variations in cupping therapy techniques. The purpose of this study was to prove scientifically the effectiveness of the number of heads, duration and location of cupping therapy points with a decrease in the value of blood pressure in patients at the Klaten Migoenani Health Nursing Clinic. This research method uses the quasy experimental one group pre post test method. Data from the analysis of blood pressure measurements in patients undergoing cupping therapy were measured with digital tension and a statistical hypothesis test was performed. The sample technique uses quota sampling. The results showed that cupping therapy effectively reduced the average 20 mmHg of systolic and diastolic blood pressure by the number of locations of cupping points 1-3 locations, the number of heads of 18-24 and for 25-30 minutes of therapy through the process of nitrite dioxide stimulation which caused peripheral vasodilation .The conclusion of this study is that variations in blood pressure reduction in cupping therapy can be determined from the number of heads, duration and location of cupping points

Hospitalization causes pediatric patients to have received various treatments in the hospital such as invasive procedures.Hospitalization results in anxiety either to children or parents. Parental anxiety could be decreased by nurses' caring behavior. This research aimed to analyze the correlation between nurses' caring behavior with parents' anxiety levels related to an invasive procedure to pediatric patients in RSUD dr. Haryoto Lumajang. The research design was correlational descriptive with a cross-sectional approach. Purposive sampling was used with criteria of parents who have experienced accompanying invasive procedures in children with a minimum stay of a day. A total of 112 parents with a hospitalized child were included with purposive sampling technique. This study showed that participants had high perceptions of caring behaviors and 91% of parents had noanxiety. The result of Kendall tau b correlation test showed that p-value 0.036 (alfa = 0.05) and teta = -0.164. This study found that nurses' caring behavior correlated to parents' anxiety level related to an invasive procedure to pediatric patients in RSUD dr. Haryoto Lumajang. The correlation results showed a very weak relationship, however the higher nurses' caring during hospitalization may lower parents' anxiety because of an invasive treatment. This study indicated that nurses' caring behavior can reduce parents' anxiety. The application of caring behavior should be improved, particularly in pediatric nursing. As a result, caring as the essence of nursing can be achieved

Coronary artery disease is one of the non-communicable diseases that lead to the cause of death globally. It not only can disturb of physical, psychological, and social aspects, but also decrease the quality of life (QoL). The perception of QoL is a difference among patients with coronary artery disease. Characteristic demographic can assist patients in identifying and addressing QoL declined. This study examined the relationship between demographic characteristics and quality of life in patients with coronary artery disease. This is a cross-sectional study that reviewed patients with coronary artery disease. Par ticipants were 124 (96 males and 28 females) with purposive sampling. Quality of life was measured with (SF-36) questionnaire. Spearman rho correlation has utilized the relationships between the independent and dependent variables. Spearman rho correlation coefficient analysis indicated that demographic characteristics (age (0.216), gender (0.075), marital status (0.224), and alcohol consumption (0.092)) were not correlated significantly, but education level (0.002), occupation (0.001), income (0.003), and exercise (0.014) were related significantly with quality of life. There was a statistically significant relation ship between demographic characteristics and quality of life in patients with coronary artery disease.

Health care providers (HCPs) in Public Health Center (PHCs) have essential role to fulfil the various complexities of physical, psychological, economic, and social needs among people affected by leprosy (PALs) during treatment in communities. The complexity of these needs is important to prevent the stigmatization and discrimination of PALs for transmission and disability during their rehabilitation. To explore the experience of HCPs for fulfilling the PALs needs during attending community based rehabilitation in PHCs of Jember regency, Indonesia. A descriptive phenomenology was performed to HCPs dur ing July to August 2020. In depth interview was saturated to six of HCPs who were responsibility to care PALs in community. Data was analyzed using systematic coding to all of verbatim of participants. Regarding our in depth interview for sixt of HCPs, we were identified of three of themes which explained into seven of subthemes and sixteen of categories. The main themes were adherence to treatment efforts, treatment to solve social limitation, and caring for preventing disability. The experiences of HCPs in caring for PALs during community based rehabilitation were identified in three main themes, namely: efforts to maintain adherence to treatment, efforts to prevent social barriers, and basic care to prevent disability. Therefore, regular visits through home visits can be car ried out on PALs so that MDT compliance is good and reduces side effects. The forma tion of self-care groups is indispensable in teaching basic care skills in an effort to prevent future disability

Fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS) is a condition associated with drinking alcohol during pregnancy and affect embryo development. FAS is the most common congenital disabilities in the world. The effects of FAS are mental retardation, cranial abnormalities, and heart defects. Moringa oleifera is a highly valued plant. It has an impressive range of biological activities, including antioxidant, antiproliferation, and anti-inflammatory. This study aims to assess the effect of Moringa oleifera leaf extracts in inhibiting growth retardation of chicken embryo growth induced by alcohol. The study was a true experimental design with posttest controlled group design. There were five groups with 5 of chicken embryo each group. The treatments contained 15% alcohol and aquadest as positive control (P+), without alcohol as negative control (P-), P0.5 (0,5g/dl), P5 (5g/dl), P50 (50g/dl) by adding Moringa oleifera leaf extracts, respectively. Moringa oleifera leaf extracts showed the improvement of length and head diameter as a benchmark for chicken embryo development with P5 concentration showed the best results to overcome growth retardation in alcohol-induced chicken embryos. This finding implies against possibility Moringa oleifera leaf extracts can be alternative medicine to prevent growth retardation.

Poor psychological well-being is an important issue that must be addressed in managing Diabetes millitus. Uncertainty of diabetes mellitus indicates the inability of individuals to determine the meaning of events associated with a disease. The uncertainty of diabetes mellitus causes stress because of the uncertainty in the disease process. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of Uncertainty in illness and psychological status in Diabetes mellitus clients in the Jember Health Center Area. The design of this study was explanatory survey with cross sectional approach. The study population was all Diabetes millitus clients in the Jember Community Health Center. The sample size of 250 Diabetes millitus clients was recruited by simple random sampling technique. The data used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis so that the results will be obtained in the form of a frequency distribution. The results showed that the highest level of client expectations was with a low expectation rate of 51.2%. The highest level of distress of respondents who had Diabetes millitus was in the category of distress by 50.4%. The level of anxiety felt by most respondents was in the category of disturbance by 47.6% and uncertainty was in the less category by 63.2%. A greater understanding of the nature of uncertainty and psychological status in this context may not only provide a unique picture and challenge of Diabates mellitus clients, but also illustrate how future interactions between health care providers, education programs, and interventions will be increased in Diabetes millitus clients

Physical activity in the elderly will improve cognitive function. Biomolecular changes to see an increase in elderly cognitive function are characterized by an increase in the expression of plasma protein Brain Derived Nerve Factor (BDNF). Efforts to improve cognitive function can be done in Indonesian Cardio Gymnastic Serie-I. In this study the aim was to analyze the influence of Indonesian Cardio Gymnastic Serie-I three times a week for 6 weeks to Plasma Protein Expression of BDNF in Elderly. This study used a pre-experiment with the design of one group pre and post test for 27 samples of healthy elderly aged >60 years and routinely conduct Indonesian Cardio Gymnastic Serie-I 3 times a week for 6 weeks. To determine BDNF levels taken from elderly plasma blood then measured using the Enzime Link Immunosorbent Assay method. To analyze the influence of Indonesian Cardio Gymnastic Serie-I to plasma protein expression of BDNF, a paired t-test was used so that the mean differences between before and after gymnastics were known. There were differences in the mean BDNF plasma protein expression before and after Indonesian Cardio Gymnastic Serie-I (2174.52 ± 700.79 VS 1981 ± 915.17 pg/mL, p = 0.40; p >0.05) with the mean difference was 192.69 which means Indonesian Cardio Gymnastic Serie-I 3 times a week for 6 weeks had no influence to plasma proteinexpression of BDNF because the level has decreased by 91.14% after exercising.
