Abstract

The success of Islamic education in state schools (public schools) in providing Islamic education is largely determined by management's ability to implement management professionally. This article aims to describe and analyze the implementation of Islamic education management at SDN Tangerang 14. To obtain data, the techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data is generated using interactive techniques and continues continuously until completion so that the data is saturated as developed by Miles and Huberman (1994). The conclusion of this research is that in the Implementation of Islamic Education Management at SDN Tangerang 14 there are several functions of Education Management Implementation, including planning, organizing and supervising. Management implementation starts from planning with a mechanism for determining the direction and goals to be achieved by involving the Tangerang District Regional Coordinator, supervisors, school principals, teachers and committees. Furthermore, organization is carried out by distributing tasks and responsibilities to all school members through meetings before new teachings are implemented. Implementation of supervision is carried out by controlling the quantity and quality of personnel work through class supervision, meetings, and budget use audits carried out through meetings with the school committee.   ABSTRAK Keberhasilan suatu pendidikan Islam dalam sekolah negeri (sekolah umum) dalam menyelenggarakan pendidikan Islam sangat ditentukan oleh kemampuan manajemen dalam mengimplemenasikan manajemen secara professional. Artikel ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi manajemen pendidikan islam di SDN Tangerang 14. Untuk mendapatkan data, teknik yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang dihasilkan dengan teknik interaktif dan berlangsung terus menerus sampai tuntas sehingga datanya jenuh seperti yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman (1994). Kesimpulan penelitian ini, bahwa dalam Implementasi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam di SDN Tangerang 14 terdapat beberapa fungsi Implementasi Manajemen Pendidikan antara lain, perencanaan, pengorganisasian, dan pengawasan. Implementasi Manajemen dimulai dari perencanaan dengan mekanisme menentukan arah dan tujuan yang akan dicapai dengan melibatkan korwil Kecamatan Tangerang, pengawas, kepala sekolah, guru, dan komite. Selanjutnya, pengorganisasian dilakukan dengan pembagian tugas dan tanggung jawab kepada seluruh warga sekolah melalui rapat sebelum ajaran baru dilaksanakan. Implementasi pengawasan dilakukan dengan mengontrol kuantitas dan kualitas kerja personil melalui supervisi kelas, rapat, serta audit penggunaan anggaran yang dilakukan melalui rapat bersama komite sekolah.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the relationship between self-efficacy and Arabic language learning outcomes among eleventh-grade students at State Senior High School 43 Jakarta. Self-efficacy refers to an individual's belief in their ability to complete academic tasks, significantly influencing motivation, persistence, and academic achievement. The research employed a quantitative method with a correlational approach. Data were collected through a self-efficacy questionnaire and students’ Arabic language test scores administered by the teacher. The data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and simple regression analysis to measure the strength of the relationship between the two variables. The results revealed a statistically significant positive correlation, with a correlation coefficient of 0.653, indicating that students with higher self-efficacy tend to achieve better results in Arabic language learning. Furthermore, the study found that self-efficacy is influenced by several factors, including previous successful experiences, teacher and peer support, as well as the application of active and interactive teaching strategies in the classroom. Based on these findings, the study concludes that enhancing students’ self-efficacy can be an effective strategy to improve their Arabic language learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan model Team Games Tournament (TGT) dalam pengajaran keterampilan menulis di Madrasah Aliyah Jakarta. Peneliti menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain kuasi-eksperimental, di mana sampel dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yang diajar menggunakan model TGT dan kelompok kontrol yang diajar menggunakan metode tradisional. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test, post-test, observasi, dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji N-Gain untuk menentukan efektivitas model yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa menjadi lebih aktif dan antusias dalam pembelajaran menggunakan metode ini dibandingkan dengan metode tradisional. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa metode ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan menulis, tetapi juga memotivasi siswa untuk belajar dalam lingkungan yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model TGT memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menulis siswa. Nilai rata-rata pre-test kelompok eksperimen sebesar 64,32 meningkat menjadi 88,36 setelah diterapkan model TGT, yang menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 24,04%. Sementara itu, pada kelompok kontrol, nilai rata-rata hanya meningkat dari 54,95 menjadi 63,38, dengan peningkatan sebesar 8,42%. Hasil uji N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas model TGT berada pada tingkat sedang dengan nilai 0,68, yang berarti metode ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة فعالية استخدام نموذج مسابقة ألعاب الفريق (TGT) في تعليم مهارة الكتابة لدى تلاميذ مدرسة الثانوية الإسلامية جاكرتا. اعتمدت الباحثة على المنهج التجريبي باستخدام التصميم شبه التجريبي، حيث تم تقسيم العينة إلى مجموعتين: مجموعة تجريبية تلقت التدريس باستخدام نموذج TGT ، ومجموعة ضابطة تلقت التدريس بالطريقة التقليدية. تم جمع البيانات من خلال الاختبارات القبلية والبعدية، والملاحظة، والمقابلة، ثم تحليلها باستخدام اختبار-t واختبار N-Gain لتحديد مدى فعالية النموذج المستخدم. أظهرت هذا البحث أن تلاميذ كنّ أكثر تفاعلًا وحماسًا أثناء التعلم باستخدام هذه الطريقة مقارنة بالطريقة التقليدية.يثبت هذا البحث أن هذه الطريقة لا تعزز فقط مهارات الكتابة ولكنها أيضًا تحفز تلاميذ على التعلم من خلال بيئة تفاعلية ممتعة. أظهرت النتائج أن استخدام نموذج TGT كان له تأثير إيجابي على تحسين مهارة الكتابة لدى الطالبات. حيث بلغ متوسط درجات الاختبار القبلي في المجموعة التجريبية 64،32 وارتفع إلى 88،36 بعد تطبيق النموذج، مما يدل على زيادة بنسبة.24،02% بينما في المجموعة الضابطة، ارتفع متوسط الدرجات من 54،95 إلى 63،38 فقط، مما يشير إلى زيادة أقل بنسبة8،42%. كما أظهرت نتائج اختبارN-Gain  أن فعالية نموذج TGTكانت في المستوى المتوسط بقيمة 0،68، مما يدل على أن هذه الطريقة أسهمت بشكل ملحوظ في تحسين أداء تلاميذ. بالإضافة إلى ذلك.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the suitability of teaching modules and evaluate the relevance of Hiwar materials in the Hikmah textbook used for Arabic language instruction among tenth-grade students at MAN 2 Bekasi. The evaluation employs assessment criteria from Idhoat by Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Fawzan, focusing on the integration of language skills, particularly speaking, and also follows the evaluation standards issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia regarding content suitability. A descriptive qualitative method was applied, using observations, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that the Hiwar materials in the Hikmah textbook only partially meet the established evaluation standards. Therefore, improvements are necessary to enhance the effectiveness of the material. These improvements should not only involve the publisher, but also teachers and schools, in order to develop better teaching strategies and supportive infrastructure for Arabic language education in general, and for teaching Hiwar materials in particular.

Abstract

The integration of technology in education is a critical step for madrasahs to remain relevant in the digital era. Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Al Irtiqo has undergone a digital transformation by utilizing various technological tools such as laptops, televisions, projectors, smartphones, and digital applications to support both academic and extracurricular activities. However, challenges such as limited device availability, uneven infrastructure distribution, and unstable internet connections still persist. This study aims to explore the implementation of educational technology at MA Al Irtiqo, the benefits and limitations experienced, and strategic recommendations for sustainable integration. The research method used is qualitative descriptive through observation and documentation analysis. The findings reveal that technology is effectively used in classrooms and extracurricular programs to enhance student creativity, digital literacy, and collaborative learning. Nevertheless, infrastructural constraints reflect the early-stage adaptation process common in madrasah environments. This study is relevant to the development of national education policy to ensure equitable technological advancement in religious-based schools. Future research is recommended to quantitatively evaluate the impact of technology on student outcomes and conduct comparative studies across madrasahs to identify best practices in digital learning implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of the book Al-‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk in teaching speaking skills to beginner-level students at Ma'had Al-Qur'an wal Lughah Bogor. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method through interviews, observation, and documentation. The participants included two students with different levels of speaking ability, the principal of the institute, and an Arabic language teacher. The findings show that Al-‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk greatly contributes to improving students' speaking skills through its various dialogues and oral exercises, which help students use correct sentences, expand their vocabulary, and build confidence in speaking. Teachers also applied interactive teaching strategies such as repetition, imitation, role-playing, and group work, making the lessons more engaging. Despite challenges like limited time and overlapping materials, the book proved effective in achieving language learning goals, and the institute was able to overcome these issues. Therefore, Al-‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk is a valuable educational tool for enhancing speaking skills among beginners, and the researcher hopes this study will support the development of speaking instruction and serve as a useful reference for teachers and researchers interested in this field.

Abstract

This study addresses students' difficulties in learning Arabic grammar (nahwu), particularly in reading classical texts (kitab turats). Interview results showed that traditional teaching methods failed to effectively support students' reading skills. The research aims to examine the impact of using Kitab an-Nahwu at-Tathbiqi on students' ability to read kitab turats. It employs a mixed-method approach with a sequential exploratory design. The study involved 79 middle-level students, with 31 in the experimental group and 26 in the control group. Qualitative data were collected through observation and interviews, while quantitative data were obtained via pretest and posttest. Qualitative analysis followed the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, while quantitative data were analyzed using a t-test. Results revealed that the experimental group’s average posttest score (76.90) was higher than the control group’s (61.31), with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. This confirms a significant impact of using the applied grammar book. The study’s novelty lies in its practical approach to grammar materials, which effectively enhances reading ability of classical texts, despite the limitation of sample size.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pembelajaran kosakata dan menulis terbimbing menggunakan gambar seri di MTs Nasional Islam 43 Jakarta dan untuk menguji efektivitasnya. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen menggunakan desain dua kelompok. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas delapan di MTs Nasional Islam 43 Jakarta, yang berjumlah 34 siswa, dengan 17 siswa di kelompok eksperimen dan 17 siswa di kelompok kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, observasi langsung, dan wawancara. Untuk analisis data, peneliti menerapkan uji-t untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan gambar seri dalam memperkaya kosakata siswa dalam menulis terbimbing. Pada akhir penelitian, kelompok eksperimen memperoleh skor rata-rata 83,12, sedangkan kelompok kontrol memperoleh skor rata-rata 68,59. Ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata-rata hasil belajar siswa di kedua kelompok. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik, nilai uji-t yang diperoleh adalah 0,001, yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Karena nilai uji-t lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak, dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar menggunakan rangkaian gambar untuk memperkaya kosakata siswa dalam menulis terbimbing telah meningkat secara signifikan.

Abstract

The researcher chose this topic due to several issues in learning Arabic speaking skills: students face difficulties in learning Arabic, teaching focuses mainly on vocabulary, and teachers rarely use innovative methods. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Talking Stick method in improving speaking skills by comparing test results between students taught using role-play and those taught without the Talking Stick method. This quantitative research uses a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group using the Talking Stick method and a control group without it. The population consists of 80 ninth-grade students at Hidayaturrohman Tangerang Islamic Junior High School, with 40 students in each group. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and oral tests. Results show that the experimental group’s average score rose to 74.1, while the control group averaged only 9.95. The t-value (3.69) exceeded both the 5% (1.66) and 1% (2.37) significance levels, indicating the null hypothesis is rejected. Therefore, the Talking Stick method effectively enhances students’ speaking skills.

Abstract

This study addresses students' difficulties in learning Arabic writing skills, particularly sentence construction. Observations revealed challenges such as limited student engagement, poor cooperation, and low attentiveness. The research aimed to assess the effectiveness of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model in improving writing skills and to explore its supporting and inhibiting factors. A mixed-methods approach was used, involving 55 eighth-grade students at MTs Nur Asy-Syafi’iyah Rempoa. Quantitative data were gathered through pre- and post-tests, analyzed using t-tests and N-Gain; qualitative data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman & Saldana model. The experimental group achieved a higher post-test average (79.40) than the control group (60.03), with a significance level of 0.001, indicating that the NHT model had a significant effect. The N-Gain score of 0.55 showed moderate effectiveness. Factors affecting NHT’s effectiveness included internal aspects—such as motivation, learning styles, and interest—and external aspects like interactive media and the learning environment. Overall, the NHT model proved to be moderately effective in enhancing students’ Arabic writing skills.
