Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of resilience of Islamic Senior High School or Madrasah Aliyah (MA) teachers in Pati Regency in facing the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, identify the challenges faced in the curriculum adaptation process, and examine the potential of the Love-Based Curriculum as an alternative approach in the context of madrasah education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. The results of the study indicate that teachers' resilience is influenced by internal factors such as self-directed learning initiatives and religious motivation, as well as external factors such as institutional support and training. Public madrasahs have higher readiness compared to private madrasahs because they are supported by established human resources and systems. However, some private madrasahs demonstrate strong resilience through local culture and religious values that have been built over time. Additionally, reflections on the Love-Based Curriculum indicate that an approach based on compassion and empathy is beginning to be integrated by some madrasahs as a response to the need for more humanistic learning. This study recommends the importance of strengthening systematic support, inter-institutional collaboration, and training to support the sustainability of curriculum transformation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of gender inequality, labor force participation rates, and population density on economic growth in Indonesia. The study uses panel data from 34 provinces in Indonesia for the period 2019–2023, obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The research method used is multiple linear regression with the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) approach, analyzed using EViews 12. The results indicate that gender inequality has a significant negative effect on economic growth. Meanwhile, labor force participation rates and population density have a significant positive effect on economic growth in Indonesia. The adjusted R-squared value of 0.9773 indicates that 97.73% of the variation in economic growth can be explained by the independent variables in this study. These findings suggest that reducing gender inequality and increasing labor force participation can support sustainable economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the legal policy underlying the material judicial review of the Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART) of political parties in the Supreme Court Decision No. 39 P/HUM/2021. The issue is important because the position of political party AD/ART raises theoretical debates regarding the scope of statutory regulations and the authority of the Supreme Court in judicial review, while practically affecting internal party democracy and the protection of party members’ rights. Previous studies generally focus on the authority of the Supreme Court or disputes within political parties, whereas this research specifically analyses the legal policy behind the limitation of judicial review objects concerning political party AD/ART.This research employs a normative juridical method using statutory, conceptual, and case approaches. Primary legal materials include Supreme Court Decision No. 39 P/HUM/2021, Law No. 12 of 2011 on the Formation of Laws and Regulations, and Law No. 2 of 2011 on Political Parties, supported by secondary legal materials from books and scientific journals.The study finds that the Supreme Court adopted a formalistic interpretation of statutory regulations and declared the petition inadmissible because political party AD/ART do not possess generally binding legal force. The decision reflects a legal policy aimed at maintaining legal certainty regarding the limits of material judicial review objects. However, the ruling also indicates the need for a clearer legal mechanism to supervise internal political party norms that have broader public implications within a democratic system.

Abstract

Technology development has an effect on society’s declining akhlak standards. Teachers are being forced to put in more effort to sustain and preserve akhlak values in their students as a result of this moral decline. Pesantren institutions that have a hidden curriculum, one that is developed throughout the day for a whole week, are one example of efforts in this direction. Learning Arabic is one of the lessons that contributes to this akhlak education; it aims to impart Islamic principles in addition to language skills. The creation of an artificial environment (bi’ah lughawiyyah) as a direct and authentic Arabic language experience is one of the Arabic language learning methodologies that this study highlights.This study was conducted in the field at Muhammadiyah Boarding School Al Islam Paleran Jember, one of Muhammadiyah’s boarding schools. In order to accomplish this, the author employed a qualitative methodology, gathering data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Additionally, the Miles and Huberman model was used for data analysis. The objective is to outline artificial environment-based Arabic language learning activities offered by MBS Al Islam Paleran, explain how akhlak education is implemented there, and discuss the implications of this bi’ah lughawiyyah for students.The study’s findings clarify the significance of learning Arabic with a clear conceptualization within the framework of akhlak education, particularly with regard to speech, manners, self-confidence, responsibility, and discipline. This language environment requires complete support in terms of infrastructure, supporting facilities, as well as teacher quality.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of a gender-based curriculum at MA Mu’allimat NU Kudus. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Primary data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, while secondary data were obtained from relevant literature. The main informant in this study was the deputy head of the curriculum division at MA Mu’allimat NU Kudus. Data validity was ensured through source, method, and theoretical triangulation. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques.The findings indicate that the gender-based curriculum is implemented through three main components: the national curriculum, local content, and the hidden curriculum. Within the national curriculum, the madrasa adapts learning materials and instructional approaches to support the empowerment of female students. In the local content, classical Islamic texts are taught using a critical gender perspective. Meanwhile, the hidden curriculum is implemented through extracurricular activities, including female education programs that foster gender awareness and skills.Overall, the implementation of the gender-based curriculum contributes to reducing gender bias and strengthening the role of women in the public sphere. This study highlights the importance of integrating equality values into Islamic education and recommends the reinforcement of similar curriculum models in other educational institutions to promote more inclusive and gender-equitable social transformation.

Abstract

This study examines the preservation and revitalization of the dekah desa tradition in Dusun Pabregan, Andong District, Boyolali Regency, as a manifestation of cultural values and Islamic da'wah. Previous studies on local traditions have predominantly focused on cultural preservation and religious values separately, while limited attention has been given to understanding how local traditions function simultaneously as a medium of Islamic da'wah and adapt to contemporary social developments. Therefore, this study aims to explore the relationship between local cultural practices and Islamic teachings within the dekah desa tradition, particularly in the context of maintaining its relevance in the modern era.This research employs a qualitative approach through field research methods by collecting data directly from the research site. The study adopts the perspective of living Qur'an and utilizes George H. Mead's symbolic interactionism theory to analyze the social processes underlying the formation and continuity of the tradition. The findings indicate that dekah desa represents a synthesis between local culture and Islamic values, reflected in ritual practices such as the gunungan procession, goat slaughtering, slametan, and art performances integrated with Islamic messages. Beyond functioning as an expression of gratitude for agricultural blessings, the tradition also serves as a contextual medium of da'wah through religious activities and culturally based performances. Furthermore, the study finds that the continuity of this tradition requires active participation from the community, particularly the millennial generation, through digital innovation and social media utilization to strengthen cultural awareness and ensure the sustainability of dekah desa in the contemporary era. Thus, dekah desa continues to exist as a representation of harmony between local cultural identity and Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the content strategy and public opinion regarding da'wah on family and women's issues delivered by Ustadz Hilman Fauzi through the TikTok platform. The study uses a qualitative method with a netnographic approach, with primary data sources in the form of da'wah video content and secondary data sources in the form of audience comments. Data analysis techniques include content analysis and public sentiment analysis by categorizing sentiments into positive, neutral, and negative categories, using sentiment measurement tools such as Tolos, Brand24, and Collabas Research on more than 27,000 comments from five trending videos.The results of the study indicate that Ustadz Hilman Fauzi's da'wah strategy is effective because it adopts an empathetic healing da'wah approach, focuses on a universal and evergreen family niche, and is able to optimize TikTok's characteristics and algorithms through short video formats, varied visuals, and consistent uploads. Sentiment analysis shows the dominance of neutral sentiment (70%) and positive sentiment (30%), indicating broad public acceptance without causing polarization. These findings confirm that contextual, humanistic, and strategic digital da'wah is capable of building engagement and ensuring the sustainability of da'wah on social media.
