Abstract

One Of The Problems In Recent Months At The Tanjung Priok Port In Jakarta, Indonesia's Largest Port, Is The Weakening Of The Flow Of Incoming And Outgoing Containers. Various Policies Have Been Implemented By The Port And The Government, One Of Which Is Regarding The Impact Of The Covid 19 Outbreak On The Handling Of Export And Import Containers At The Npct1 Terminal In The Tanjung Priok Area, Which Has Seen Its Revenue Volume Decline. This Thesis Aims To Obtain An Analysis Of The Impact Of The Covid 19 Outbreak On The Handling Of Export And Import Containers At The Npct1 Terminal In The Tanjung Priok Area. The Data Used Is Data From The Auto Gate System For The Period 1 February To 30 March 2020. By Taking Data From Customs For The New Priok Container Terminal One Tps, With The Results Of The Gate Report Per Month, The Comparison Of The Average Time Before The Covid 19 Pandemic From Entering To Leaving The Container Shows That The Reduction In The Export And Import Process Of Containers At The Npct1 Terminal Is Very Significant. By Analyzing The Export And Import Container Handling Process At The Npct1 Tanjung Priok Terminal, We Can Find Out The Development Of Containers Entering And Leaving The Terminal With A Reporting System Created By The Npct1 Terminal, So That It Is Hoped That The Operational Handling Of The Npct1 Container Terminal Will Always Continue To Operate Without Any Lock Down Because We Prioritize The Best Service Because Our Terminal Is An Asset Of The Country's Economy And We Continue To Comply With The Health Protocol For Covid-19 Regulations, Always Wear Ppe (Personal Protective Equipment) And Always Provide Hand Sanitizers, Hand Washing Equipment In Every Workplace, Always Routinely Spray Disinfectants While Working, With The Auto Gate System (Ags) Npct1 Terminal Is Ready To Compete With Several International Terminals In Tanjung Priok With Healthy Competition. Therefore, This Study Aims To Analyze The Impacts Caused By The Distribution Of The Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic, Especially In Indonesia, Which Is One Of The Countries That Prioritizes The International Economy In The Field Of International Container Terminal Ports.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work climate in order to improve employee work discipline at PT. Rejeki Abadi Sakti. The sample used in this study was 30 people. The research method used is a descriptive analytical survey research method with a qualitative approach, by providing a description of each question variable regarding the responses of respondents or employees who are the research samples. Based on the results of the data description obtained, the work climate is able to improve employee work discipline, which means that the better the work climate, the more work discipline will be improved. The conclusion drawn is that the work climate can improve employee work discipline at PT. Rejeki Abadi Sakti The suggestions that can be given as input are that it should be a reference and used as material to improve employee work discipline; the emergence of employee awareness to continuously improve self-discipline; it is necessary to establish more binding rules regarding work discipline; it is necessary to create a conducive work climate so that employees can work more optimally, such as improving and improving qualified school facilities and infrastructure, improving employee welfare, giving awards to employees who excel and others.

Abstract

City transportation services, especially in DKI Jakarta Province, refer to the National Transportation System (Sistranas) as stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number KM. 49 of 2005, which is a systematically organized transportation system to be used as a guideline and basis for planning, developing, and organizing transportation in order to realize effective and efficient transportation services. The Wahana Kalpika Cooperative (KWK) is a small bus (Angkot) public/city transportation business entity whose existence has contributed to public service. KWK has 3,500 members by managing 6,238 fleet units, 1,125 units have joined Mikrotrans Jaklingko, the rest are still regular, providing services on 81 routes throughout DKI Jakarta. The KWK fleet business unit in carrying out its operations requires an evaluation of the level of service provided to be in accordance with (Sistranas). The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the KWK service level evaluation whether it has been in accordance with the National Transportation System and its inhibiting factors. The research method uses a descriptive approach with a qualitative approach, which is exploratory. The data analysis technique is subjective by conducting observations or observations that are carried out continuously. For data processing with data categorization, data presentation to conclusions. The implementation of the evaluation of the level of KWK service to Sistranas runs in accordance with the Laws and Regulations, providing maximum service to achieve effectiveness and efficiency for users of its services is measured based on the evaluation carried out by the KWK supervisory team internally and there are external auditors. The results of the evaluation carried out by KWK continue to improve services to the community in providing its service commitments. The inhibiting factor is that in regular services there are fleet units that are no longer allowed to operate, with expired letters, these units are forced to operate on their route but at certain hours and not to the highway to avoid supervision from KWK and the Transportation Agency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and explain the patterns, trends, and factors that influence international trade in the era of globalization. In this study, the author uses a descriptive method by collecting data from various sources and then analyzing it to identify patterns, trends, and factors that influence international trade. The results show that the growth of global trade has been driven by a number of factors, such as: (1) Reduction of trade barriers; (2) The emergence of free trade agreements (3) The growth of multinational companies; (4) The development of new technologies. The value of global trade has also increased dramatically over the past three decades, from $12.5 trillion in 1990 to $25.6 trillion in 2019. This shows that international trade has emerged as an important component of the world economy. From the results of the research and discussion carried out, it can be concluded that global trade has grown rapidly in recent decades, driven by various factors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and improve the effectiveness of education and training for Microtrans public transportation crews in DKI Jakarta. The study was conducted on March 16-18, 2023 using a questionnaire given to 21 respondents, including the Leaders and Members of Committees/Institutions/Government Organizations and Public Transportation Company Cooperatives as Microtrans Operators in DKI Jakarta. The data obtained from the questionnaire revealed that several indicators showed that the effectiveness of education and training for Microtrans public transportation crews still needed to be improved. Based on the results of the analysis, several important findings were found: Punctuality of Training: As many as 20.62% of Microtrans public transportation crews have not implemented punctuality in Training. Training achievement targets: As many as 28.55% of Microtrans public transportation driver crews have not achieved the Training target. Implementation of Training results: As many as 20.62% of Microtrans public transportation driver crews have not implemented the Training results properly. Benefits of Training: As many as 23.80% of Microtrans public transportation driver crews have not utilized the Training optimally. Work performance after attending the training: As many as 31.73% of Mikrotrans public transportation driver crews have not achieved the expected work performance after attending the training. good Post-training behavior: As many as 30.14% of Mikrotrans public transportation driver crews have not shown good behavior after attending the training. Based on these findings, it is recommended to make improvements and enhancements in the education and training program for Mikrotrans public transportation crews in DKI Jakarta. Improvement efforts can be made by increasing the punctuality of training, identifying and meeting training achievement targets, improving the implementation of training results, increasing the benefits of training, improving work performance after attending training, and encouraging good behavior after training. Thus, it is hoped that the effectiveness of education and training for Mikrotrans public transportation crews can be improved, thereby providing a better contribution to improving safety, smoothness, comfort, reliability, and public services in DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

In an archipelagic country, the role of ports is very important for maritime affairs. The Koja Container Terminal (TPK) has been operating since 1997 in anticipation of the increasing demand for container services in the early 1990s in line with the rapid increase in export and import activities at the Port of Tanjung Priok. Based on statistics, 90% of international trade commodity activities are carried out through sea ports and 65% through the Asia Pacific route. The field of port activities is indeed very broad, including services for ships, services for goods and many other types of services. Service activities in the container stacking yard are the key to improving ship loading and unloading services, this is because the service in the container yard is the beginning of loading and unloading activities at the port. The service process in the container stacking field hampers the performance of RTG (Rubber Tire Gantry) operators when picking up container loads.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of ship pilotage in the mandatory pilotage waters of Tanjung Perak Surabaya. Pilotage is a pilot activity in assisting the captain in processing the movement of the ship so that navigation can be carried out safely, orderly and smoothly, while the Pilot according to the Shipping Law no. 17 of 2008, has the following definition: A pilot is a nautical sailor who has met the requirements set by the government to carry out pilotage. The pilot as an extension of the harbor master in the field of shipping safety, the main priority is the shipping safety factor. While the company in this case is PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) is profit-oriented. By looking at the dominant pilotage function to assist ship movement, so that the ship can dock or leave the dock, jestler, pier, jetty, buoy or others that require a pilot can be carried out safely, smoothly and under control. For this reason, through this study it will be known how big the role of ship pilotage is in efforts to reduce the risk of ship accidents in the mandatory pilotage waters of Tanjung Perak Surabaya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and compare the two fleet inspections at PT. Samugara Artajaya. Ship Maintenance Management in a broad sense, is the actions of Managers (sea officers), which include all kinds of activities aimed at keeping the ship in a seaworthy condition (Sea Worthyness), meeting all requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Seaworthiness or operational worthiness is the condition of a ship that meets the requirements for ship safety, prevention of water pollution, manning, loading lines, loading, ship welfare and passenger health, legal status of the ship, ship safety management to sail in certain waters. All ships around the world are required to use ship inspection and monitoring services by the International or National Classification Agency, because this concerns the interests of ship insurance, ship owners, charterers, and the safety of the ship itself. Indicator variables, hull inspection includes all plates above the air, weather deck plates, sills and hatch equipment above the open deck and inside the open superstructure or open deckhouse and (side ports, cargo ports, front, side and rear ramps and front visors and side windows below the freeboard deck or closed superstructure deck etc., while the engine inspection variable indicators include the main propulsion engine, power transmission engine, shaft system, propulsion engine other than the main propulsion engine, boiler, hot oil heater, waste burner, pressure vessel, machining. The population in this study was the entire fleet of PT. Samugara Artajaya ships totaling eight (8) ships. The data analysis method used in this study is the non-parametric method of simple sign test and signed rank test or better known as the Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results of the analysis, so far the inspections carried out by the company have been as good as possible to achieve the classification standardization that has been carried out in the last 2 years and the comparative inspections carried out by the Classification Agency showed that there were differences where the inspections carried out by the company were smaller than the inspections carried out by the Indonesian Classification. The conclusion of this study, That on average the hull and engine inspections carried out by PT. Samugara Artajaya has not reached the maximum desired by the Indonesian Classification Standard.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengambil judul “ANALISIS OPTIMALISASI SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN LAYANAN PERUSAHAAN JASA PT. POS INDONESIA CABANG MEDAN”. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui tingkat harapan konsumen mengenai kualitas pelayanan Perusahaan Jasa Ekspedisi Pos Indonesia dan kinerja kualitas layanan yang dirasakan oleh konsumen setelah menerima pelayanan jasa Perusahaan Jasa khususnya pada sistem informasinya. Perusahaan telah menggunakan kemajuan teknologi untuk menerapkan praktik baru dalam pemasaran dan bisnis. Selain itu, internet mengubah pasar dan bisnis secara signifikan. Sejak penemuan teknologi internet, pola kehidupan secara bertahap berubah. Internet, yang merupakan koneksi global dari ribuan jaringan yang dikelola secara bebas, secara dramatis telah mengubah pasar dan bisnis. Sejak munculnya internet, konsumen di seluruh dunia telah didekati dengan pola kehidupan yang berubah dan keinginan untuk banyak hal yang dilihat. Bisnis juga mulai menggunakan internet untuk mendukung pembentukan sistem. Banyak perusahaan di Indonesia sekarang harus mempersiapkan diri untuk menggunakan berbagai alat e-bisnis sebagai bagian baru dari cara mereka berinteraksi dengan pelanggan, pemasok, dan karyawan. PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero), perusahaan pengiriman terkenal di Indonesia, adalah salah satunya dan hasil analisis menggunakan SWOT terlihat kelebihan dan kekurangannya.

Abstract

Mualim jaga memiliki peran penting dalam mengolah gerak kapal pada saat berlayar untuk menghindari hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan untuk menghindari bahaya-bahaya tubrukan. Perumusan masalah yang diambil penulis dalam skripsi ini adalah pelaksanaan dinas jaga untuk mencegah terjadinya bahaya tubrukan di MV. Dumai Line 8 optimalisasi penggunaan alat-alat navigasi untuk mencegah terjadinya bahaya tubrukan dan upaya yang dilakukan dalam kondisi darurat dinas jaga. Dengan metode penelitian kualitatif yang mengahasilkan data deskriptif, pelaksanaan dinas jaga dapat digambarkan secara jelas dan nyata karena data diperoleh dari interview secara langsung serta ditunjang metode kepustakaan yang memberikan gambaran lebih jelas mengenai gambaran yang lebih jelas mengenai informasi yang disampaikan.
