Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis masalah degradasi moral siswa terkait penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila ditinjau dari makna dan hakikat pendidikan kewarganegaraan (PKn) sebagai pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini juga mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk degradasi moral siswa, faktor penyebab degradasi moral, dan implikasi degradasi moral dalam penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada berbagai bentuk degradasi moral siswa dalam penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila dan yang paling signifikan yaitu: penurunan nilai religius, penurunan nilai kemanusiaan, dan penurunan nilai persatuan. Faktor penyebab degradasi moral siswa yakni lemahnya pengetahuan dan paham nilai-nilai Pancasila, kelalaian orang tua dalam mendidik anak, dan pengaruh gadget atau media sosial. Implikasi dari degradasi moral siswa dalam penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila, jika ditinjau dari makna dan hakikat PKn sebagai pendidikan karakter, yaitu tidak adanya perilaku yang mengindikasikan hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, karakter peduli sosial terhadap hubungan hidup sesama manusia, karakter patriotisme dan kebersamaan, karakter demokratis dan adil bagi semua pihak tanpa pandang bulu. This study aims to analyze the problem of students' moral degradation related to the application of Pancasila values in terms of the meaning and nature of civic education (PKn) as character education. This study also describes the forms of student moral degradation, the factors causing moral degradation, and the implications of moral degradation in the application of Pancasila values. The study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data was collected through interview, observation, and document study. The results of the study show that there are various forms of student moral degradation in the application of Pancasila values, and the most significant of which are: a decrease in religious valuess, a decrease in human values, and decrease in the values of unity. Factors causing student moral degradation are the lack of knowledge and understanding of Pancasila values, negligence of parents in educating children, and the influence of gadgets or social media. The implications of student moral degradation in applying Pancasila values, when viewed from the meaning and nature of civic education as character education, are namely the absence of behavior that indicates a human relationship with God, the character of social care for the living relationships of fellow human beings, the character of patriotism and togetherness, democratic character and fair to all parties indiscriminately.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis aktivitas guru dan siswa di kelas dalam pengembangan karakter tanggung jawab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus dengan teknik dan instrumen penelitian berupa observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru dan siswa di dua sekolah menengah pertama, yaitu satu di Lamongan dan satu lagi di Kota Batu. Ada sebanyak tujuh guru yang memberikan informasi tentang proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Tujuh siswa memberikan informasi tentang harapan mereka terhadap pengembangan karakter dan ada sebanyak dua ratus tujuh siswa yang diukur tingkat karakter tanggung jawab mereka melalui angket. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui analisi tematik dan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan aktivitas guru dalam mengembangkan karakter tanggung jawab siswa disebabkan oleh adanya pemahaman tentang kondisi karakter siswanya. Hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi bahwa pengembangan karakter sebaiknya dimulai dengan adanya identifikasi kebutuhan siswa dalam belajar. Pendekatan mixed-method dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam upaya untuk menyempurnakan penelitian tentang pengembangan karaktertanggung jawab pada siswa.AbstractThis research aims to describe and analyze the activities of teachers and students in the classroom in the developing responsibility character. This research uses qualitative approach with case study method research assisted by techniques and instruments in the form of observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The subjects in this research were teachers and students in two junior high schools, namely one in Lamongan and another in Batu City. There are seven teachers who provide information about the learning process in the classroom. Seven students provided information about their expectations of character development and there were two hundred and seven students whose level of responsible character was measured through questionnaires. Data analysis techniques are carried out through thematic analysis and descriptive analysis. The results of this research indicate that the success of teacher activities in developing students' responsible character is caused by an understanding of the condition of their students' character. The results of this research have the implication that character development should begin with the identifying students' learning needs. The mixed-method approach can be used as an alternative in an effort to perfect research on the development of responsible character in students

Abstract

Cooperative learning is the use of small groups for education in which students collaborate to optimize their own and each other's learning. Cooperative learning has been used to solve many problems both cognitive and social inability. There are many obstacles that may occur in the process of students learning to work together, including a lack of literacy awareness and individual accountability. This study was aimed at improving students' literacy awareness and individual accountability and at the same time improving s English writing ability. This action research was carried out in one of junior high school in Yogyakarta in English subject particularly using recount text material. The sample was chosen using random sampling technique. There were 31 students participated in this study. The data were gathered using interview, survey, test and documentation. The data gained then were analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. The findings show that Think Pair Share is significantly improve students' cognitive ability, the English writing ability. However, the results of the t-test analysis did not reflect a significant increase in student literacy awareness and individual accountability. The increase occurred in the atmosphere of the learning process where there was a reduction in students with smartphone dependency in learning outside of learning interests and the tendency of students to try to find online learning resources through electronic dictionaries, unfortunately this impact was not significant enough to be seen significantly from quantitative data.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the moral values contained in Wayang wahyu performances. Wayang wahyu grows and develops among Catholics as a proclamation of church teachings. Church teachings have moral values that need to be instilled in humans for character education. Dalang presents a reflection of a life that is full of moral messages through the drama of the wayang Wahyu so that the delivery of moral messages becomes familiar to the Javanese community. With the presence of Wayang wahyu, it is expected that the audience can capture moral messages useful for reflecting on the lives of Catholics. This study aims to reveal the moral values contained in lakon Naaman Sang Senopati. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a value analysis approach. The results of this study can be concluded that the Wayang Wahyu performance is an effort by Catholics to bring their teachings closer to the Javanese community. The performance of Naaman Sang Senopati contains moral values that are useful for building the character of Catholics. The result of this study is that this performance is full of values of religiosity, trust, self-surrender, nationalism, obedience, universality, and love.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses tranformasi semangat nasionalisme pada siswadi SMA Kabupaten Simeulue melalui gerakan literasi sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak sepuluh orang yang terdiri atas kepala sekolah dan guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan di SMA Kabupaten Simeulue. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Analisis data menggunkan teknik interaktif dari Miles, Huberman, & Saldana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses tranformasi semangat nasionalisme pada siswa di SMA Kabupaten Simeulue  dilaksanakan dengan tiga. Pertama, mentranformasi nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai semangat nasionalisme melalui pembelajaran. Proses ini mengarah pada penanaman nilai-nilai Pancasila melalui penguatan pemahaman terhadap Pancasila sehingga tercermin dalam cara berpikir dan berperilaku yang menunjukan karakteristik manusia Indonesia. Kedua, mengoptimalisasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dalam membentuk semangat nasionalisme generasi muda. Proses ini mengarah pada kesiapan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran yang dapat mengotimalkan penanaman nilai-nilai Pancasila pada generasi muda. Ketiga, membumikan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GSL) dalam membentuk semangat nasionalisme generasi muda. Proses tersebut dilaksanakan dengan membudayakan literasi kepada warga sekolah. Kesimpulannya bahwa proses tranformasi semangat nasionalisme telah dilaksanakan di SMA Kabupaten Simeulue melalui gerakan literasi sekolah.AbstractThis study aims to analyze the transformation process of the spirit of nationalism in students at SMA Simeulue Regency through the school literacy movement. The research is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were ten people consisting of school principals and Civics and Pancasila Education teachers at SMA Simeulue Regency. Data collecting uses interview and observation techniques. Data analysis uses interactive technique from Miles, Huberman, & Saldana. The results of the study show that the process of transforming the spirit of nationalism in students at SMA Simeulue Regency was carried out in three ways. First, transforming Pancasila values as the spirit of nationalism through learning. This process leads to the cultivation of Pancasila values through strengthening understanding of Pancasila so that it is reflected in ways of thinking and behaving that show the characteristics of Indonesian people. Second, optimizing the implementation of Pancasila and Civic Education learning in shaping the spirit of nationalism in the younger generation. This process leads to the readiness of teachers in designing learning that can optimize the instillation of Pancasila values in the younger generation. Third, grounding the School Literacy Movement (GSL) in shaping the spirit of nationalism of the younger generation. This process is carried out by cultivating literacy among the school community. The conclusion is that the process of transforming the spirit of nationalism has been carried out at SMA Simeulue Regency through the school literacy movement.

Abstract

AbstrakStrategi pembudayaan karakter peduli sosial selama ini hanya dijumpai di satuan pendidikan dasar jenjang sekolah dasar dan sekolah menengah. Kajian ini membahas mengenai strategi pembudayaan karakter peduli sosial di perguruan tinggi melalui organisasi GEMAPEDIA bagi mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan teknik analisis model interaktif dari Miles, Huberman, & Saldana (2013). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam organisasi GEMAPEDIA terdapat nilai karakter peduli sosial kasih sayang, tanggung jawab, dan keserasian hidup. Nilai-nilai yang ada diaktualisasikan dalam strategi pembudayaan karakter peduli sosial melalui tiga cara, yaitu: 1) pembiasaan (habituation) melalui budaya organisasi yang dapat terlihat dari interaksi antarsesama anggota, interaksi antarlembaga atau organisasi yang bergerak di bidang yang sama dan interaksi saat pelaksanaan program kerja atau kegiatan; 2) melalui program-program kerja yang disusun memuat pengajaran, penelitian, dan pengabdian dengan tujuan dan proses pelaksanaanya memuat nilai karakter peduli sosial baik dalam internal maupun eksternal organisasi; dan 3) upaya mempertahankan nilai dalam organisasi dengan penjagaan dan kontrol nilai-nilai melalui monitoring dan evaluasi.AbstractThe strategy of cultivating social care character has so far only been found in basic education units at the primary and secondary school level. This study discusses strategies for cultivating social care character in university through the GEMAPEDIA organization for Students of the Malang State University. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis uses interactive model analysis techniques from Miles and Huberman. The results of the research show that in the GEMAPEDIA organization there are character values of social care, compassion, responsibility and harmony in life. The existing values are actualized in the strategy of cultivating social care characters through three ways, namely: 1) habituation through organizational culture which can be seen from interactions between fellow members, interactions between institutions or organizations operating in the same field and interactions during the implementation of work programs or activities; 2) through work programs that are prepared to include teaching, research and service with the objectives and implementation processes containing the character values of social care both internally and externally to the organization; and 3) efforts to maintain values in the organization by maintaining and controlling values through monitoring and evaluation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis pendidikan karakter melalui nilai-nilai budaya Bugis, yakni sipakatau, sipakalebi, dan sipakainge di Komunitas Peduli Anak Jalanan di Makassar Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Komunitas Peduli Anak Jalanan menerapkan nilai-nilai budaya Bugis pada penerapan pembelajaran dan lingkungannya. Pertama, nilai sipakatau dengan menciptakan hubungan yang saling menghormati, saling mendukung, dan saling memahami dengan anak jalanan. Kedua, nilai sipakalebi dengan menciptakan kerukunan di arena binaan serta membubuhkan sikap saling memanusiakan dan sikap saling menghargai. Ketiga, nilai sipakainge melalui berinteraksi dengan penuh penghormatan, mendengarkan dengan empati, dan memberikan perhatian yang tulus kepada anak jalanan. Foluntir atau pengajar Komunitas Peduli Anak Jalanan melakukan manipulasi lingkungan dengan melakukan stimulus dan foluntir sebagai role model-nya.

Abstract

Abstrak: Masyarakat di era society 5.0 berhadapan dengan teknologi yang dapat diakses secara maya selayaknya ruang fisik berbasis artifcial intelligence, big data, dan robot yang memudahkan pekerjaan manusia sehingga menimbulkan berbagai tantangan, salah satunya terkait karakter. Pendidikan karakter dapat diimplementasikan melalui Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) menuju era society 5.0.Metode penelitian yaitu kepustakaan (library research). Sumber data penelitian berupa sumber data sekunder. Tahapan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini meliputi tiga tahap yaitu kondensasi data, display data, dan penarikan simpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan P5 dengan era society 5.0 menjadikan SDM Indonesia unggul karena perkembangan zaman tidak hanya berupa softskill dan hardskill melainkan berlandaskan Pancasila yang memuat nilai kepribadian bangsa.Maka implementasi P5 di sekolah harus dilaksanakan dengan baik karena dapat meningkatkan kompetensi, daya saing, dan daya tarik individu yang tidak melupakan landasan falsafah hidup berbangsa dan bernegara.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kecakapan literasi digital siswa(KLDS) berdampak pada seberapa efektif pendidikan karakter islami (EPKIS) yang diajarkan melalui Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti di beberapa wilayah pendidikan menengah kejuruan di kabupaten Bogor. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif-asosiatif. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui metode purposive random sampling. Untuk mendapatkan data lapangan, kuesioner dibagikan kepada responden untuk mendapatkan sampel 100 siswa SMK. Teknik analisis regresi linier sederhana digunakan, dan SPSS 23. Output analisis menunjukkan bahwa hubungan korelasi antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat sangat kuat, dengan nilai korelasi 0,899. Pengaruh positif variabel bebas juga ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien determinasi yang cukup tinggi (0.807). Sebagai syarat analisis data, proses analisis telah memenuhi syarat validitas, reliabilitas, dan asumsi klasik. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan agama Islam dan budi pekerti harus menjadi fondasi utama proses pendidikan karakter islami siswa. Diharapkan, untuk membantu meningkatkan pembentukan karakter siswa, siswa harus dapat memanfaatkan kemampuan literasi digitalsecara optimal.AbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine how students' digital literacy skills (KLDS) impact on how effective Islamic character education (EPKIS) taught through Islamic Religious Education and Budi Pekerti is in several vocational secondary education areas in Bogor district. This research was conducted using a quantitative-associative approach. This study collected data through purposive random sampling method. To obtain field data, questionnaires were distributed to respondents to obtain a sample of 100 vocational high school students. Simple linear regression analysis technique was used, and SPSS 23 statistics were utilized. The analysis output shows that the correlation relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is very strong, with a correlation value of 0.899. The positive influence of the independent variables is also indicated by the high coefficient of determination (0.807). As a condition of data analysis, the analysis process has met the requirements of validity, reliability, and classical assumptions. Therefore, Islamic religious education and ethics should be the main foundation of the students' Islamic character education process. Hopefully, to help improve students' character building, students should be able to optimally utilize digital literacy skills.

Abstract

The need for environmental sustainability awareness is rising rapidly and one way to achieve it is through education. This study aimed at unraveling the environmental sustainability care character building through project-based learning in the English for Specific Purpose classroom. This study applied qualitative research with a case study design. This study was conducted at the Politeknik Negeri Bali, and the participants were 39 students from the Tour and Travel Operation study program. The data were collected through observation, documentation, and interview with the students and the lecturer to triangulate the data. The data were then analyzed by data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. This study revealed that the project-based learning method can integrate character-building explicitly by giving a video project on how to take care of rubbish in tourism destinations. Positive responses were also given by the students toward the process of video creation and most of them agreed that they need to take action in taking care of the environment.
