Abstract

AbstrakStudi ini menganalisis pola asuh keluarga perempuan kepala keluarga di Komunitas Posdaya, Desa Ngroto, Kecamatan Pujon, Kabupaten Malang. Peneliti melakukan analisis untuk menemukan benang merah antara penggunaan model pola asuh untuk membantu pendidikan karakter anak selama pandemi. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik analisis data Miles dan Huberman mendukung metode pengumpulan data purposive sampling dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perempuan kepala keluarga yang memiliki peran ganda di bidang domestik dan publik lebih cenderung menggunakan dua model pola asuh: otoriter dan demokratis. Pola asuh demokratik mengimbangi hak dan kewajiban dengan memberikan kebebasan tidak mutlak kepada anak. Sebaliknya, pola asuh otoriter berusaha mencegah anak melakukan hal-hal yang tidak baik. Sudah terbukti bahwa penerapan dua model pola asuh berdampak langsung pada pendidikan karakter anak. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan fakta bahwa kedua pola asuh membentuk kebiasaan sehari-hari anak. Dalam jangka panjang, itu menghasilkan nilai-nilai karakter sepertikedisiplinan, ketekunan, tanggung jawab, rendah hati, kejujuran, dan tata krama.AbstractThis study analyzes the parenting patterns of female-headed families in Posdaya Community, Ngroto Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency. The researcher conducted the analysis to find a common thread between the use of parenting models to help children's character education during the pandemic. The research was conducted through descriptive qualitative approach. Miles and Huberman's data analysis technique supported the purposive sampling data collection method in this study. The results showed that female heads of households who have dual roles in the domestic and public spheres are more likely to use two parenting models: authoritarian and democratic. Democratic parenting balances rights and obligations by giving children non-absolute freedom. In contrast, authoritarian parenting tries to prevent children from doing bad things. It has been proven that the application of two parenting models has a direct impact on children's character education. This is evidenced by the fact that both parenting styles shape children's daily habits. In the long run, it results in character values such as discipline, perseverance, responsibility, humility, honesty, and manners.

Abstract

Abstrak: Studi ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi dan pemahaman tentang strategi coping pada guru PAUD di Gugus PAUD Kecamatan Kepanjen. Peneliti menganalisis untuk menemukan kesinambungan strategi coping yang sudah dilakukan oleh guru dengan pembangunan karakter tangguh anak usia dini yang sudah berjalan. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan analisis model Miles dan Hubberman dan purposive sampling. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa guru PAUD belum memahami dengan baik tentang strategi coping atau cara untuk mengatasi stres yang dialami secara komprehensif dan pola pembelajarannya, tetapi secara tidak sadar melakukan strategi coping yaitu emotional focused coping yang kemudian dipelajari untuk dijadikan dasar perilaku oleh anak berikutnya saat menghadapi situasi yang sama. Guru PAUD masih sadar bahwa anak usia dini butuh dibekali dengan nilai dan perilaku positif, dan secara bersamaan tidak menyadari bahwa hal tersebut menjadi salah satu dasar pembentukan karakter tangguh anak usia dini. Guru PAUD memang mengajari anak untuk mampu bertindak dan berperilaku tangguh tetapi belum mengajarkan tentang mengelola emosi untuk anak usia dini yang menjadi dasar secara berkelanjutan untuk menjadi manusia tangguh. Namun setidaknya guru PAUD sudah memberikan sebagian dasar perasaan yang tepat untuk anak usia dini yang tangguh meskipun belum komprehensif.Abstract: This study aims to describe the perception and understanding of coping strategies among early childhood teachers in the PAUD Cluster, Kepanjen District. Researchers analyzed to find the continuity of coping strategies that had been implemented by teachers with the ongoing development of tough character in early childhood. This qualitative descriptive research uses Miles and Hubberman model analysis and purposive sampling. The results of the analysis show that early childhood teachers do not have a good understanding of coping strategies or ways to deal with stress experienced comprehensively and their learning patterns, but unconsciously carry out coping strategies, namely emotional focused coping, which is then studied to be used as a basis for behavior by subsequent children when facing situations the same one. Early childhood teachers are still aware that early childhood children are equipped with positive values and behavior, and at the same time do not realize that this is one of the basics for forming strong character in early childhood. Early childhood teachers do teach children to be able to act and behave tough, but they do not teach them properly about managing emotions for young children, which is a sustainable basis for becoming tough humans. However, at least early childhood teachers have provided some of the basic feelings for strong early childhood children, even though they are not yet comprehensive.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain in-depth information about the determinants of the character formation process of students on the competence of Electrical Power Installation Engineering expertise in Vocational High Schools. The type of research used is qualitative with a case study method at SMKN 1 Padarincang. Data collection techniques used in this study were participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using interactive models Miles and Huberman help ATLAS TI 9 software. The results obtained in this study are (1) The process of forming the character of students in the competence of Electrical Power Installation Engineering expertise, which is integrated with learning, habituation, extracurricular, and school management (2). Supporting factors for the process of forming the character of students include teachers with character, community, willingness of students, schools, and families. (3). Factors inhibiting the process of forming the character of students are less active teachers, school environment, students' desires, families, and inadequate infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of character education values and their internalization in Arabic language learning for tsnawiyah students of Dayah Al Muslimun Lhoksukon North Aceh. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, and the data collected are the results of observations, interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this study used Miles & Huberman's interactive analysis theory. The data analysis technique in this study begins with collecting data, presenting, reducing and concluding. The results of this study indicate that the value of character education values contained in Arabic learning materials in the book Arabiyah Baina Yadaik for Tsanawiyah students, namely: religious values, ethical values, tolerance values, disciplinary values, complex work values, independent values, democratic values, curiosity values, national spirit values, recognizing excellence, communicative values, reading values, environmental care values and responsibility values and the value of character education values are internalized into the process of Arabic learning stages through teaching materials, learning models and evaluation (authentic assessment).

Abstract

Abstrak: Kasus degradasi moral banyak menjangkiti para remaja di Indonesia, sehingga perlu penguatan pendidikan karakter sebagai upaya mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Penguatan pendidikan karakter merupakan gerakan pendidikan di bawah tanggung jawab satuan pendidikan untuk memperkuat karakter siswa melalui harmonisasi olah hati, olah rasa, oleh pikir dan olah raga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji muatan nilai-nilai  karakter sebagai upaya penguatan pendidikan karakter dalam novel Orang-orang Biasa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian analisis konten inferensial. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu Novel Orang-orang Biasa karya Andrea Hirata. Sampel dalam penelitian yaitu frase, kalimat, paragraf dalam Novel Orang-orang Biasa yang mengandung lima nilai karakter utama yaitu religius, nasionalisme, gotong royong, kemandirian, dan integritas. Peneliti melakukan inferensi dengan menggunakan pendekatan tampilan linguistik dengan mengkaji makna kebahasaan yang terkandung dalam Novel Orang-orang Biasa. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis terhadap frase, kalimat, atau paragraf yang mengandung nilai religius, nasionalisme, gotong royong, kemandirian, dan integritas sebagai upaya penguatan pendidikan karakter. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa Novel Orang-orang Biasa karya Andrea Hirata merupakan salah satu novel yang sarat akan nilai moral dan Pendidikan karakter sehingga akan sangat baik untuk dibaca sebagai penguatan pendidikan karakter.Abstract: Many cases of moral degradation happen to young people in Indonesia, so it is necessary to strengthen character education to overcome these problems. Strengthening character education is an educational movement under the responsibility of the education unit to strengthen student character through the harmonization of exercise of the heart, feeling, thought and exercise. This study examines the content of character values to strengthen character education in Novel Orang-Orang Biasa. This research is an inferential content analysis research. The data source in this study is the Novel Orang-Orang Biasa by Andrea Hirata. The samples in this research are phrases, sentences, and paragraphs in Novel Orang Orang Biasa, which contain five main character values : religion, nationalism, gotong royong, independence, and integrity. The researcher made inferences using a linguistic appearance approach by examining the linguistic meanings of the Novel Orang Orang Biasa. Furthermore, an analysis of phrases, sentences, or paragraphs that contain religious values, nationalism, gotong royong, independence, and integrity is carried out to strengthen character education. From the research results, it is known that the novel is full of moral values and character education so it would be very good to read as strengthening character education.

Abstract

Abstrak: Masalah degenerasi moral mahasiswa telah lama berkembang di Indonesia. Peraturan Presiden Nomor 2017 tentang Penguatan Karakter Pendidikan adalah salah satu solusi masalah degenerasi moral yang dihadapi oleh sekolah sebagai unit pendidikan, memainkan peran penting dalam proses membangun karakter pendidikan bagi peserta pendidikan. Hal ini sesuai dengan persyaratan manajemen untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter yang sangat baik di sekolah. SD Fajar Harapan dipilih sebagai objek dalam penelitian ini karena memiliki tingkat heterogenitas yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai administrasi pendidikan peningkatan karakter di SD Fajar Harapan. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: Merencanakan dan berkolaborasi antara pemerintah, unit pendidikan, dan masyarakat sekitar SD Fajar Harapan dalam menyusun kegiatan pendidikan karakter yang diselenggarakan, SD Harapan telah menetapkan jadwal dan sumber daya personil yang tepat dalam pelaksanaan penguatan pendidikan karakternya. Aktif, memperkuat pendidikan karakter di SD Fajar Harapan telah dilakukan baik dalam kegiatan intra- maupun ekstracurricular. Kontrol dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah, instruktur, staf, dan orang tua siswa.Abstract: The issue of declining moral values among students has long been a concern in Indonesia. President's Regulation No. 2017 on Strengthening Character Education is one of the solutions to address this problem in schools, playing a crucial role in shaping the character of students. This is in line with the management's requirement to strengthen character education in schools. This study focuses on evaluating the administration of character education improvement at SD Fajar Harapan, which was chosen due to its high level of heterogeneity. The research is qualitative and descriptive in nature. The findings of the study indicate that SD Fajar Harapan has collaborated with the government, educational institutions, and the local community to organize character education activities. The school has also established appropriate schedules and staffing resources to strengthen its character education program. SD Fajar Harapan has been actively promoting character education through both intra- and extracurricular activities. Oversight is conducted by the school principal, instructors, staff, and parents.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui program Bandung Masagi di sekolah menengah pertama terkhusus yang ada di wilayah A khususnya SMP Negeri 25 Bandung yang dinyatakan sekolah terbaik di wilayah A. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan model studi kasus dipilih dengan teknik instrumen penelitian berupa wawancara dan observasi. Subjek dalam penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, guru serta siswa dengan total subjek wawancara 12 orang. Program pendidikan karakter Bandung Masagi dapat berkontribusi dalam penguatan karakter dan membina kebajikan siswa di SMP Negeri 25 Bandung yang berdasarkan budaya Sunda di mana memuat sistem akar dasar nilai-nilai filosofi kearifan lokal, yaitu silih asah, silih asih, silih asuh dan silih wawangi serta empat aspek keimanan, bela negara, cinta lingkungan, dan jaga budaya. Melalui program pendidikan karakter Bandung Masagi, terlihat ada perubahan karakter pada peserta didik ke arah yang lebih baik. Tetapi dalam perkembangan yang dirasakan, tidak secara langsung bergerak drastis melainkan bertahap.Abstract: This research aims to analyze the implementation of strengthening character education through the Bandung Masagi program in junior high schools, specifically in Region A, especially SMP Negeri 25 Bandung, declared the best school in Region A. A qualitative approach using a case study model was chosen using research instrument techniques in the form of interviews and observations. The subjects in the research were the principal, deputy principal for curriculum, teachers and students, and there were a total of 12 interview subjects. The Bandung Masagi character education program can contribute to strengthening character and fostering the virtues of students at SMP Negeri 25 Bandung, which is based on Sundanese culture which contains a basic root system of local wisdom and philosophical values, namely silih asah, silih asih, silih asuh and silih wawangi as well as four aspects faith, defending the country, loving the environment, and protecting culture. Through the Bandung Masagi character education program, it can be seen that there has been a change in students' character for the better. However, the development that is felt is not immediately drastic but gradual.

Abstract

This article discusses the need to prioritize Indonesian cultural character values in English textbooks as a strategy to maintain cultural identity and counter the hegemony of Western cultural values in language learning in Indonesia. In the context of this research, the phenomenon is based on English textbooks for high school students in grades XI and XII in Indonesia. This research method uses library research. The main instrument of this research is the researcher himself as a "human instrument." The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative, including data collection, display and discussion, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show the following. Firstly, this study notes several trends that may be troubling, including the lack of representation of local values and the dominance of Western elements. Secondly, the factors causing this slide to involve both external and internal aspects. Externally, relating to the theory that language learning is inseparable from cultural learning provides a foundation for internalizing Western culture in English language learning. Internally, the influence of modernism and the syndrome of being a former Western colony led to an inferiority complex in cultural awareness, reinforcing the adoption of Western cultural values as the inevitable ideal standard. By exploring concrete strategies to promote Indonesian cultural values, this article advocates for a profound change in English teaching approaches to build a sense of identity and cultural diversity amidst the challenges of global values hegemony.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penguatan karakter dapat dilakukan melalui proses pembiasaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses penguatan karakter disiplin dan gotong royong melalui pembiasaan di SDN 101228 Pargarutan Tapanuli Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang didapatkan kemudian dianalisis dengan berpedoman pada teori yang dikemukakan oleh Miles dan Huberman melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Data yang didapatkan diuji dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) proses pembiasaan karakter disiplin di SDN 101228 Pargarutan Tapanuli Selatan dilakukan dengan kebijakan pengaturan jam masuk kelas, penguatan hukuman, dan memberikan penghargaan (reward); 2) proses pembiasaan karakter gotong royong di SDN 101228 Pargarutan Tapanuli Selatan dilakukan dengan kebijakan goro setiap pulang sekolah, piket kelas, membakar sampah setiap minggu, dan membersihkan MCK (mandi, cuci, dan kakus).Abstract: Character strengthening can be achieved through habituation. This study aims to analyze the process of strengthening discipline and cooperation through habituation at SDN 101228 Pargarutan in South Tapanuli. The research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data was analyzed using Miles and Huberman's data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion process. The data was also tested using source triangulation techniques. The research results indicate: 1) The habituation of discipline at SDN 101228 Pargarutan in South Tapanuli is carried out through policies such as setting class start times, implementing stronger punishments, and rewarding good behaviour; 2) The habituation of cooperation at SDN 101228 Pargarutan in South Tapanuli is done through practices such as "goro" after school, class duties, weekly trash burning, and maintaining cleanliness in the bathrooms (washing, cleaning, and toilets).
