Abstract

This research aims to introduce the concept of gender to early childhood, as gender awareness education is closely related to social development and the formation of behavior patterns in adulthood, as well as helping children fully understand their self-identity as male or female. The study focuses on preliminary observations conducted at RA Al Mustaqbal regarding early childhood gender understanding, particularly in self-identification. Through role-playing, children can explore various roles without being limited by gender stereotypes, allowing them to develop talents, interests, and hobbies freely regardless of sex. This method also enhances children’s socio-emotional aspects, such as self-confidence, tolerance, and social skills. Educators also gain insights into inclusive gender values that can be internalized in the learning process, thereby creating a gender-equitable early childhood education environment that supports holistic child development. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, as it is highly suitable and relevant to the research entitled “Gender Awareness Education for Early Childhood through Role-Playing Method at RA Al Mustaqbal.” Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, and photography. To ensure the validity of the data, source triangulation was applied. The findings at RA Al Mustaqbal show that the role-playing method is an effective way to introduce gender education to early childhood. Through role-playing activities, children are given opportunities to engage directly in various simulations of professional or daily life roles without restrictions based on gender. Both boys and girls are free to choose and perform roles they are interested in, enabling them to experience firsthand being, for example, a doctor, teacher, police officer, firefighter, or other professions. Participation in role-play has proven to encourage a more open attitude and acceptance of diverse gender roles. Children become more confident, willing to try roles outside their usual choices, and begin to understand that any role can be carried out by anyone regardless of gender identity. Social interactions during these activities also help sharpen communication, cooperation, and empathy—key aspects in character building and fostering gender equality awareness from an early age. Teachers at RA Al Mustaqbal play a crucial role in designing, guiding, and creating an inclusive environment throughout the role-playing process. With positive atmosphere and constructive guidance from teachers, children are better able to comprehend the concept of gender awareness education.

Abstract

This study is entitled "The Use of Visual Presentations in Teaching English Vocabulary to Special Needs Students at PKBM Zaien Education Centre." This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using visual media, such as flashcards and educational videos, in enhancing the English vocabulary skills of students with special needs, particularly in learning colors and facial features. This study employed a quasi-experimental approach with the Visual-Auditory-Kinaesthetic (VAK) learning method involving 15 students. The learning media used included videos and flashcards with themes of basic colors (blue, red, green, yellow) and facial parts (eyes, nose, mouth, ears). Assessments were conducted through three tests measuring students' ability to recognize and pronounce the taught vocabulary. The results showed a significant improvement in students' vocabulary skills after using visual media. In the second cycle, 12 out of 15 students achieved passing scores (Minimum Mastery Criteria ≥ 9), an increase compared to the first cycle, where only 6 students passed. This indicates that the use of visual presentations can help special needs students better understand and remember English vocabulary. Therefore, the use of visual media is highly recommended in teaching English to special needs students to enhance learning effectiveness, inclusivity, and responsiveness to individual student needs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Green Banking, Sustainability Reporting, and earnings quality on corporate performance in conventional banks in Indonesia during the 2020–2024 period. This research employs a quantitative approach with a causal design. The independent variables include Green Banking, Sustainability Reporting, and earnings quality, while the dependent variable is corporate performance measured by Return on Equity (ROE). The research population consists of 68 banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and through purposive sampling, 22 banks were selected over five observation years, resulting in 110 total samples. The data used are secondary data analyzed with descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and multiple regression using SPSS 26. The findings reveal that: (a) Green Banking has a significant effect on corporate performance, indicating that the implementation of environmentally friendly banking practices in bank operations can enhance profitability; (b) Sustainability Reporting significantly affects corporate performance, suggesting that sustainability disclosure improves investor trust, corporate reputation, and transparency in managing environmental, social, and governance aspects; (c) earnings quality significantly influences corporate performance, indicating that profits derived from real operational activities and free from accounting distortions strengthen bank profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the literature on the Doctrine of Salvation (Soteriology). This research uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The study draws on various secondary data sources and transforms them into narratives. The results of the study reveal that the doctrine of salvation (soteriology) is a fundamental teaching that not only provides a theological understanding of how humans are saved but also guides the Christian life as a whole. It teaches that salvation is God's perfect work through Christ, received through faith, and produces a new life that bears fruit in love, service, and hope. Salvation provides meaning, strength, and purpose in life, while also providing the basis for the eternal hope that believers will ultimately live in happiness and peace with God forever.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengkaji keberadaan dan Atribut Allah dalam Perspektif Teologis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kajian literatur, yaitu melalui pengumpulan dari berbagai sumber data sekunder/artikel/buku kemudian dinarasikan menjadi kesatuan pembahasan terkait tentang keberadaan dan atribut Allah dalam Perspektif Teologis. Hasil kajian didapatkan pemahaman bahwa Tuhan dianggap sebagai Entitas Yang Maha Kuasa, abadi, dan penuh kasih sayang, yang hadir dalam tiga aspek yaitu Sang Bapa, Sang Anak, dan Roh Kudus (Trinitas). Karakteristik Tuhan seperti kesucian, kebaikan, keadilan, kebijaksanaan, dan kebenaran menjadi landasan bagi interaksi antara Tuhan dan umat manusia serta ciptaan-Nya. Keberadaan Tuhan dapat dipahami melalui wahyu yang bersifat umum dan khusus, terutama lewat Alkitab dan sosok Yesus Kristus. Beragam argumen filosofis seperti argumen kosmologis, teleologis, moral, dan pengalaman spiritual mendukung keyakinan akan adanya Tuhan, kendati manusia tidak mampu sepenuhnya memahami hakikat Tuhan.  Pandangan non-religius tentang Tuhan, seperti ateisme, deisme, dan agnostisisme, memberikan sudut pandang yang berbeda tentang keberadaan dan sifat Tuhan. Ateisme menolak keberadaan Tuhan, deisme mengakui Tuhan sebagai pencipta tetapi tidak terlibat dalam urusan dunia, sedangkan agnostisisme berkeyakinan bahwa keberadaan Tuhan tidak dapat diketahui dengan jelas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Canva-based interactive media in teaching Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) ecosystem material at MIS Al-Azhar Ajung, as well as to determine the responses of teachers and students to its application. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation with one IPAS teacher and twenty fifth-grade students as subjects. The results showed that the use of Canva increased student engagement, motivation, and conceptual understanding of ecosystem material. Teachers felt that Canva's visual and animation features helped them convey abstract concepts such as food chains and relationships between living things. Students responded positively, showing high levels of interest and participation during the learning process. Canva also encouraged student collaboration through group digital projects and developed critical and creative thinking skills. Despite technical constraints such as device limitations and preparation time, Canva proved to be effective in creating active, interactive, and meaningful learning.

Abstract

enelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran tematik di kelas IV SD Miftahul Ulum Kaliwates Jember serta mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi guru. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik telah terlaksana dengan baik melalui tahapan 5M (mengamati, menanya, mencoba, menalar, dan mengomunikasikan). Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang memotivasi siswa untuk aktif membangun pengetahuan, sedangkan siswa menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam kegiatan belajar. Pendekatan ini berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan pembentukan karakter seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, serta kerja sama. Kendala utama yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan waktu, variasi kemampuan siswa, dan kurangnya media pembelajaran interaktif. Strategi yang diterapkan guru untuk mengatasi hal tersebut antara lain penggunaan kelompok heterogen, pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar, serta dukungan sekolah dalam pelatihan guru. Secara keseluruhan, pendekatan saintifik terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran tematik yang aktif, kreatif, dan bermakna di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and analyze innovations in the learning design of  Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) using technology, with a focus on enhancing student motivation. The innovative learning design integrates various digital media such as interactive videos, educational applications, and online platforms tailored to PAI content. The research employs a qualitative approach with case studies conducted in several secondary schools in both urban and rural areas to evaluate the effectiveness of technology use in different contexts. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and motivation questionnaires administered before and after the learning process. The findings reveal that incorporating technology significantly increases students’ interest and active participation during lessons. Moreover, students demonstrated improved understanding of religious concepts and the ability to apply Islamic values in daily life. The use of digital media also created a more engaging and interactive learning environment, reducing boredom associated with traditional teaching methods. This study highlights the importance of innovating PAI learning design to align with technological advancements and the characteristics of the current generation. It recommends that educators and educational institutions systematically integrate technology in curriculum planning and learning activities to achieve optimal learning outcomes and foster holistic character development in students.

Abstract

The integration of Islamic values ​​into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning design involves more than just presenting theological content, but also designing a learning process that shapes students' faith (iman), practice (amal), and morals (akhlaq). This article outlines the theoretical foundation, design principles, implementation model (adapted from ADDIE), recommended learning methods, value assessment design, case studies, implementation challenges and solution strategies, as well as policy recommendations and teacher professional development. The description is supported by a literature review and recent research on the internalization of Islamic values ​​and the use of technology for character education. .

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan stres akademik ditinjau dari jenis kelamin pada mahasiswa kedokteran tingkat akhir di Universitas Andalas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan crosssectional.. Dalam penelitian ini, yang merupakan populasi adalah mahasiswa angkatan 21 dan angkatan 22 dengan total populasi 434 orang mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Andalas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat stres akademik mahasiswa kedokteran tingkat akhir di Universitas Andalas berada pada kategori sedang dilihat dari nilai rata-rata empiris dan simpangan baku. Kondisi ini menandakan bahwa mahasiswa kedokteran menghadapi tekanan akademik yang cukup tinggi, namun masih dalam batas kemampuan adaptasi psikologis yang dapat dikendalikan. Sebagian besar mahasiswa masih dapat menyeimbangkan tuntutan akademik dengan kondisi emosional dan sosialnya, meskipun tekanan eksternal seperti beban skripsi dan tanggung jawab akademik lainnya cukup dominan
