Abstract

Basic teaching skills are essential competencies that every teacher must master to create an effective, meaningful, and student-centered learning process. However, several studies reveal that many teachers in Indonesia still face challenges in applying these skills optimally, particularly in explaining learning materials, managing classrooms, and motivating students to engage actively in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the implementation and mastery of basic teaching skills across different educational levels using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The review was conducted through three main stages planning, implementation, and reporting by examining 20 scientific articles published between 2017 and 2025, obtained from reputable databases such as Google Scholar, GARUDA, and DOAJ. The findings show that most teachers have developed sufficient skills in opening and closing lessons, providing reinforcement, and managing classrooms effectively. However, weaknesses remain in the areas of explaining content clearly and facilitating small-group discussions. Factors such as limited professional training, inadequate facilities, and excessive administrative workloads hinder the development of basic teaching competencies. Despite these challenges, strategies such as microteaching, lesson study, and continuous professional development have proven effective in enhancing teachers’ pedagogical skills. This study recommends integrating digital learning technologies, promoting reflective academic supervision, and strengthening the role of teacher education institutions in building professional teaching competence. The results are expected to provide practical insights for improving teacher professionalism and advancing adaptive learning practices aligned with 21st-century educational demands.

Abstract

Learning motivation plays a crucial role in determining students’ success in achieving educational goals, particularly in the 21st century, which emphasizes critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication skills. However, the current learning environment in Indonesia indicates that students’ motivation remains low due to teacher-centered instructional practices and limited interactive engagement. This study aims to explore various teacher strategies for enhancing students’ motivation through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The review was conducted in three major stages-planning, implementation, and reporting by analyzing 20 scholarly articles published between 2017 and 2025, obtained from reputable academic databases such as GARUDA, SINTA, and Google Scholar. The findings reveal that several instructional strategies effectively foster learning motivation, including the use of rewards and positive reinforcement, ice breaking activities, Project Based Learning (PjBL), Cooperative Learning, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), and interactive digital media. These strategies consistently promote students’ enthusiasm, confidence, participation, and academic performance. Nevertheless, challenges such as limited resources, teacher preparedness, and diverse student characteristics still hinder optimal implementation. Therefore, strengthening teachers’ pedagogical competence, integrating technology into classroom practices, and applying continuous motivation-oriented evaluation are essential for improvement. The results of this study are expected to provide valuable insights for educators in designing innovative, interactive, and student-centered learning environments that sustainably enhance students’ learning motivation in the modern education era.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan pemberdayaan ekonomi petani pala di Kecamatan Manganitu Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe, serta faktor Penunjang serta Kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan pemberdayaan ekonomi petani pala di Kecamatan Manganitu Kabupaten Kepulauan iangihe. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran tema perubahan di alam dan masyarakat untuk membentuk pemahaman holistik siswa sekolah dasar. Pendekatan ini mengaitkan materi pelajaran dengan situasi kehidupan nyata, seperti perubahan iklim, dinamika sosial, dan pengaruh teknologi, agar pembelajaran lebih relevan dengan pengalaman siswa. Melalui metode kualitatif dengan studi kasus di dua sekolah di Jawa Tengah, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan berbasis proyek seperti observasi lingkungan dan diskusi dengan masyarakat memperlihatkan peningkatan pemahaman yang menyeluruh, meliputi aspek pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan. Analisis data mengungkapkan bahwa pendekatan kontekstual tidak hanya memperkuat daya ingat siswa terhadap materi, tetapi juga menumbuhkan empati terhadap isu-isu global, sehingga membentuk generasi yang lebih tanggap dan berorientasi pada keberlanjutan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan bagi guru agar dapat menyesuaikan kurikulum tematik dengan elemen kontekstual, sebagai upaya mendukung pengembangan pendidikan nasional di tengah perubahan yang cepat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas peran integrasi spiritualitas dalam strategi pembelajaran penemuan (discovery learning) sebagai upaya pembentukan karakter siswa yang kuat dan beretika. Integrasi nilai-nilai spiritual dalam proses belajar tidak hanya meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, tetapi juga berkontribusi secara signifikan dalam pengembangan kesadaran diri, empati, disiplin, keadilan, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Dimensi spiritual dan sosial mampu membentuk etika, integritas, serta kepemimpinan inklusif untuk mendukung interaksi sosial yang harmonis di lingkungan sekolah dan masyarakat. Dukungan guru sebagai teladan moral dan lingkungan pembelajaran yang kondusif memperkuat proses internalisasi nilai spiritual. Konsep Spiritual Quotient (SQ) menjadi dasar motivasi yang mengarahkan siswa pada tujuan hidup bermakna, memperkuat kedisiplinan dan partisipasi aktif. Implikasi praktis meliputi pengembangan kurikulum holistik, pelatihan guru, serta kolaborasi dengan orang tua untuk menjaga kesinambungan nilai spiritual. Disarankan studi lanjutan yang mengevaluasi dampak jangka panjang integrasi spiritualitas terhadap pembentukan karakter dan prestasi akademik siswa dengan kajian longitudinal dan pendekatan eksperimen.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of character education based on core values as the foundation for school culture development at SD Nasima Semarang. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving principals, teachers, students, and parents. The implementation of the school’s core values—strong integrity, readiness to take responsibility, empathy, confidence in striving for the best, and communicative courtesy—has been systematically internalized through daily routines, teacher role modeling, and school regulations to cultivate a culture characterized by moral integrity, religious values, and global competitiveness. Effective school management supported by collaborative leadership and parental engagement sustains this culture, while continuous character reinforcement programs address challenges such as inconsistent teacher modeling and digital influence. The study concludes that SD Nasima has developed a living value system that harmonizes Islamic spirituality, Pancasila values, and global citizenship competencies, offering a replicable model for elementary schools in Indonesia

Abstract

Perkembangan pendidikan abad ke-21 mendorong Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) untuk beradaptasi dengan kemajuan teknologi tanpa meninggalkan nilai-nilai humanis dan spiritual dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep integrasi pembelajaran blended learning dalam kurikulum berbasis cinta sebagai model pendidikan inovatif di MI. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka (library research) dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis melalui telaah buku, artikel ilmiah, dan dokumen resmi yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa blended learning mampu meningkatkan fleksibilitas, kemandirian, serta keterlibatan belajar siswa, sementara kurikulum berbasis cinta berperan dalam menumbuhkan nilai kasih sayang, empati, spiritualitas, serta membangun hubungan guru siswa yang hangat dan humanis. Integrasi keduanya memungkinkan terciptanya proses pembelajaran yang seimbang antara aspek digital dan emosional spiritual. Namun, implementasinya masih menghadapi hambatan seperti keterbatasan kompetensi guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran digital, akses sarana teknologi, dan belum adanya model kurikulum berbasis cinta yang terstruktur. Kajian ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara inovasi teknologi dan nilai-nilai Islami agar pendidikan di MI tetap relevan, humanis, dan berkarakter pada era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the leadership of female principals in public junior high schools (SMP Negeri) in Banda Aceh in developing adaptive, inclusive, and character-based schools. This qualitative reflective study employed in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that female principals in Banda Aceh demonstrate collaborative and value-based leadership styles rooted in Islamic spirituality and Acehnese cultural values. Their leadership emphasizes empathy, morality, and professionalism, which foster safe, harmonious, and inspiring school environments. The research concludes that female leadership contributes significantly to school transformation, not only by improving academic and managerial performance but also by strengthening the moral and social character of school communities.

Abstract

Primary school teachers play an important role in forming the basis of children's education, but they are often faced with various challenges that can affect the effectiveness and quality of their teaching. This study aims to determine the obstacles and difficulties experienced by teachers during the learning process in class. This research is a descriptive qualitative research using interview method. Descriptive data analysis was used to analyze the challenges faced by elementary school teachers in carrying out their teaching duties. One of the main challenges identified is managing individual differences in students, including learning abilities, learning styles, and support needs. Teachers face difficulty adapting their teaching approach to meet the diverse needs of each student in the class.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode Qira’ah terhadap kemahiran membaca bahasa Arab siswa di MA Al-Intishor Bendega. Metode Qira’ah dipandang relevan karena menitikberatkan pada latihan membaca secara berulang, penguatan kosakata, serta pemahaman konteks bacaan sehingga peserta didik terbiasa berinteraksi langsung dengan teks berbahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen melalui model pretest-posttest control group. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes kemahiran membaca yang mencakup aspek pelafalan, penguasaan kosakata, dan pemahaman isi teks, serta lembar observasi untuk memastikan konsistensi pelaksanaan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan membaca siswa setelah penerapan metode Qira’ah. Secara statistik, nilai t hitung sebesar 25,80 terbukti lebih tinggi daripada t tabel 1,692 pada taraf signifikansi 5%, sehingga hipotesis alternatif diterima. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa metode Qira’ah efektif dalam meningkatkan kemahiran membaca, baik dari aspek akurasi pelafalan maupun pemahaman makna teks. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, metode Qira’ah direkomendasikan sebagai salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang dapat diimplementasikan untuk memperkuat literasi bahasa Arab di lingkungan pendidikan formal
