Abstract

This study explores the intellectual structure of learning analytics (LA) research through a bibliometric and science mapping analysis. Over the past decade, LA has gained significant importance due to its role in analyzing learning behaviors through big data, artificial intelligence, and online learning systems, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Using data from Scopus and Web of Science, this study examines trends in publication volume, research themes, international collaborations, and influential authors and institutions within the field from 2020 to 2025. The results reveal key research domains such as educational data mining, MOOCs, self-regulated learning, and AI-integrated adaptive learning systems. Additionally, the analysis uncovers evolving research trends, particularly a shift from MOOCs to learning management systems and AI applications in post-pandemic education. By applying co-citation and co-word analysis, the study identifies emerging themes and their relationships, offering a comprehensive visualization of the field’s intellectual network. The findings also highlight the need for future research on AI-driven learning analytics and ethical considerations. This study contributes to a better understanding of LA's conceptual evolution and offers insights to policymakers, educational institutions, and researchers, helping guide future directions for digital education and data-driven educational policies. The results align with global objectives such as Sustainable Development Goal 4 (quality education for all), promoting the integration of learning analytics to enhance educational quality and inclusivity worldwide.

Abstract

The rapid increase in cyber threats has prompted organizations to explore advanced solutions, with artificial intelligence (AI) emerging as a critical tool in cybersecurity. AI applications, including machine learning, deep learning, and hybrid models, provide enhanced threat detection, mitigation, and predictive capabilities. This study aims to systematically review the role of AI in cybersecurity, identify challenges and limitations, and propose emerging strategies for improving organizational resilience. A systematic literature review (SLR) methodology was employed, sourcing peer-reviewed articles, conference proceedings, and reputable journals from databases such as IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, Springer, MDPI, and Wiley. Boolean operators and keywords such as “AI,” “cybersecurity,” “threat detection,” “machine learning,” and “blockchain” were used, with inclusion criteria focused on studies addressing AI applications in threat detection and mitigation from 2019 to 2025. Data were extracted and synthesized using thematic analysis, categorizing findings into AI applications, challenges, and future directions. The results indicate that AI significantly enhances threat detection accuracy and operational efficiency, particularly through hybrid AI models, predictive threat intelligence, and blockchain integration. Key challenges include adversarial attacks, model explainability, data quality, and regulatory compliance. In conclusion, AI holds substantial potential to transform cybersecurity, provided technical, operational, and regulatory limitations are addressed. The study proposes a comprehensive AI-driven cybersecurity framework to guide organizations in developing robust, adaptive, and trustworthy security systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the conceptual framework of Buya Hamka’s and KH. Ahmad Dahlan’s thoughts on religious character education for early childhood in the digital era. Using a qualitative library research approach with hermeneutic analysis, this research examines the primary works of both scholars and contemporary academic literature. The findings reveal that Hamka’s thought emphasizes the spiritual dimension centered on tazkiyatun nafs (purification of the soul), faith awareness, and the cultivation of inner morality as a moral safeguard amid digital disruption. Meanwhile, Dahlan’s thought focuses on Qur’anic social praxis through the values of amar ma’ruf nahi munkar, rationality, and social responsibility in the ethical use of technology. The synthesis of both perspectives results in a religious character education model built upon three dimensions: spiritual, socio-rational, and digital adaptability. This model underscores the integration of faith, social ethics, and Islamic digital literacy as the foundation for early childhood education relevant to the moral challenges of the digital age. The study contributes to the development of an integrative Islamic education theory and provides implications for designing PAUD curricula based on adaptive religious values.

Abstract

Rapid economic growth and urbanization have increased global waste production, underscoring the need for sustainable waste governance. In Indonesia, Law No. 18 of 2008 on Waste Management mandates the principles of responsibility, sustainability, and justice in waste management; however, its implementation continues to face challenges, including low public awareness and a weak recycling system. On the other hand, fiqh al-bī’ah (Islamic environmental jurisprudence) offers an ethical framework that emphasizes cosmic balance, avoidance of wastefulness, and the human mandate as khalifah (steward) on Earth. This article examines the synthesis of the principles of fiqh al-bī’ah with the framework of sustainable waste governance to develop a waste management model aligned with Islamic ethics. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, including a literature review, analysis of regulatory documents, and field studies in Banyumas Regency, which serves as the case study. The findings show that the principles of fiqh al-bī’ah, such as the protection of life and soul, the balance of production and consumption, and the maintenance of ecosystem balance, align with the hierarchy of sustainable waste management, which includes avoidance, reduction, reuse, recycling, and final disposal. Furthermore, Islamic values regarding cleanliness and the avoidance of wastefulness provide moral legitimacy for waste management policies. This article also presents a table integrating fiqh al-bī’ah values with waste management actions and proposes a conceptual model that can be adapted by local governments, communities, and educational institutions. The implementation of this model is expected to strengthen ecological awareness among Muslims and improve the effectiveness of Indonesia's waste management policies

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of implementing the talaqqi method as a traditional yet relevant approach in learning to memorize the Qur'an in Islamic boarding schools, especially in the context of the increasing need for education that emphasizes not only cognitive aspects but also spiritual strengthening. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the talaqqi method in the process of memorizing the Qur'an and examine its relevance to the formation of spiritual intelligence of students at the Assunnah NTB Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach, data collection methods through observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation to obtain comprehensive data related to the implementation of talaqqi. The results of the study show that the talaqqi method is implemented through the stages of talqin, tashih, kitabah, and tasmi' hafalan which are carried out systematically and intensively, so that it can improve the accuracy of memorization, discipline, and the quality of the students' relationship with the Qur'an. The findings also revealed that the ongoing direct interaction between the ustadz and the students during the talaqqi process significantly contributes to strengthening spiritual intelligence, as reflected in increased religious awareness, deepened appreciation of worship, and internalization of moral values. This research confirms that the talaqqi method is not only effective from a pedagogical perspective but also has important implications for shaping the students' spiritual character.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of the role of the musyrif as a murobbi (leader) in developing the moral integrity and discipline of students at the Al-Kaaffah Islamic Boarding School in Kuningan. The urgency of this research lies in the increasing challenges of developing student character amidst modernization, necessitating a more transformative and relevant development approach. The study used qualitative methods with a descriptive design to explore the direct experiences of musyrifs, students, and pesantren leaders. Data were obtained through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation analysis. The results indicate that the transformation of the musyrif's role is realized through strengthening role models, intensive spiritual guidance, personal communication, and consistent enforcement of discipline. This role significantly influences the internalization of integrity values such as honesty, responsibility, and obedience, while simultaneously enhancing discipline in learning activities and dormitory life. These findings provide a theoretical contribution to the study of pesantren character education, particularly regarding relationship-based and role-model-based development models. This study also emphasizes the importance of improving the capacity of musyrifs so that character development in pesantren can be more effective, adaptive, and sustainable.
