Abstract

With the social inquiry learning model, it is hoped that students will be able to solve problems by looking for and finding answers or solutions themselves so that in the process of solving problems, critical thinking is required to solve and find answers. The method in this research is this type of research is a queasy experimental design with a research design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of tests. The test given is in the form of descriptive questions to measure students' social problem-solving skills. In this case, two stages of the test passed. The first stage is the initial test (pretest), and the second is the final test (posttest). The results of this study were the normality test using the Kolmogorov-Sminov test with a significance value of 0.036 for the control class, while the significance value for the experimental type was 0.204. Because the significance value of the two categories is greater than the significance level (α) of 0.05, it can be concluded that this study is a normally distributed population. Meanwhile, the two groups' final state data normality test was based on the results after testing and normality testing using the Kolmogorov-Sminov test with a significance value of 0.190 for the control class, while a significant value for the experimental type was 0.200. Because the significance value of the two categories is greater than the significance level (α) of 0.05, it can be concluded that this study is a normally distributed population.

Abstract

This study aims to produce valid and reliable Higher Order Thinking Skills instruments in learning the biology of ecology and environment material. The research is a Research and Development study with the ADDIE model. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri Kerinci. The sample in the study came from 2 biology education lecturers and 3 biology teachers. The instruments in this study were a 20-item multiple-choice HOTS test sheet and a validation questionnaire. Data collection techniques are tests and validation questionnaires. Indicators of Higher Order Thinking Skills are the ability to analyze, evaluate and create. Data analysis is quantitative and qualitative data analysis with the help of the SPSS version 16 application. The results showed that the Higher Order Thinking Skills instrument had a validation value of 0.724 with decent criteria and reliability of 0.972 with high criteria. These findings explain that the Higher Order Thinking SSkills(HOTS) instrument is very valid and reliable for use in ecology and environmental materials.

Abstract

This study describes the analysis of assessment results in cerebral palsy children with barriers to complex communication needs. The assessment used is a developmental assessment on motor, cognitive, and language aspects. The research was conducted using qualitative descriptive research. Based on the results of assessments conducted on cerebral palsy children with complex communication needs barriers, a child profile related to the child's potential, obstacles, and needs can be formulated. Where the child's profile is useful for designing communication programs for complex communication needs children so that it can help them communicate both using expressive language and receptive language. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine: 1) differences in science learning outcomes in the experimental class and control class, 2) differences between the pretest and posttest using the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model, and 3) the effect of using the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model on science learning outcomes. This type of research is a quantitative experimental research method with the True Experimental Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design model. The results showed that the science learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class from the results of the t-test calculation obtained the mean value for the experimental class was 73,63 and for the control class was 67,88 with a mean difference of 5,750 and ρ < 0,05 (0,017 < 0,05) then Ho is rejected. The results of data analysis before the experiment was carried out the average science learning result was 64,50 and after the experiment it was 82,75 with ρ < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) then Ho was rejected. Thus it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model on science learning outcomes in class IV students at SD Negeri 016 Sungai Kunjang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in vocabulary of class XI students through the implementation of bahasa inggris pemula applications at SMK Negeri 4 Palopo City, with a quantitative approach and a single group pretest posttest type of research. The data analysis technique used in this study is the t test. The results showed that the significance value of the t-test was less than 0.05, namely 0.000, and the t-count results were greater than t-table, namely t-count with a value of 5.080, which was greater than the t-table value of 2.093. Thus it was concluded that there was an effect of using Bahasa Inggris Pemula applications on the level of students' English vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

Teacher professionalism has a strategic position in the success of student learning achievement. The research objectives are to obtain data, find out how much influence, find out whether there is an influence of civic education teacher professionalism on student learning achievement. The research method is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, the population is class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Boronadu totaling 116, a sample of 22% of 116 as many as 25 people. The instrument is a closed questionnaire of teacher professionalism and learning achievement. Variable reliability test (X) output =0.752 and =0.396, then (0.752) > (0.396) output reliable. Variable (Y) (0.669)> (0.396) output valid. Reliability test of variable (X) =0.785 and =0.396 output reliable and variable (Y) is =0.836 and =0.396 output reliable. The output correlation coefficient test is 0.831 classified as high. The coefficient of determination test is 69 percent. Hypothesis testing = 7.165 and = 1.714 significant level of 0.05 or 5%, in the sense that the hypothesis Ha data is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence of politics on national education funding. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative literature study, with categories of analysis based on the findings of previous researchers on education financing models. The results of this study indicate that education financing in Indonesia is currently a standard model that refers to government policies. Government intervention shows an increase in the education budget that exceeds the limit of securing an efficient allocation of resources and supporting economic growth. The education budget of 20% which is expected to be realized can cover education costs starting from elementary education, secondary education to higher education. The increase in the total allocation of the education budget is expected to have a positive impact on the renewal of the education system in the Republic of Indonesia. The increase in the budget is inseparable from the interference of politics and the authorities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the development of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based multiple-choice question instruments through Quizizz application to measure the cognitive abilities of early childhood students in the early grades. The method used in this study is the research and development ADDIE method. The results of this study show that the developed HOTS instrument using Quizizz meets the validity criteria based on validity tests. The results of content validity test by subject matter experts indicate 90% validity with a highly valid category, while the media experts' validation results show 83% validity with a highly valid category. The practicality questionnaire validation results from the students indicate 85% validity with a highly valid category. The results of construct validity test state that each item has a calculated r-value higher than the table r-value, indicating its validity and suitability for use. The reliability test yields a value of 0.799, which falls under the high reliability category with a range of 0.600-0.800. The difficulty level test results, with an average of 0.73, indicate that the questions are easy, demonstrating good quality difficulty levels. The item discrimination test results show an average of 0.432, indicating good discriminatory ability. The practicality test results from the students show 89% practicality with a highly practical category. Based on the test results of the students' abilities after being given the questions, it can be concluded that out of the 97 students who answered the 20 HOTS multiple-choice questions, 55 students had an excellent level of ability, 10 students had a good level of ability, 27 students had an average level of ability, and 5 students had a very poor level of ability. Thus, the average score of the 97 students is 71%, falling under the good category.

Abstract

Permainan spelling bee digunakan untuk membantu siswa meningkatkan kosakata dan pengetahuan mereka tentang ejaan bahasa Inggris, pengucapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan penelitian eksperimental terapan, untuk menguji dampak perlakuan terhadap suatu hasil, diperlukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas antara dua variabel dalam waktu yang bersamaan. Populasi penelitian ini pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 03 Kota Palopo tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Jumlah penduduk adalah 280 siswa. Terdapat 10 kelas yang terdiri dari 28 siswa dalam kelas tersebut. furethur peneliti memilih 2 kelas sebagai sampel, selanjutnya peneliti membagi menjadi dua kelompok 14 siswa untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 14 siswa untuk kelompok kontrol, kelas sampel adalah VII A terdiri dari 14 siswa, peneliti mengambil sampel dengan campuran. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah tes, jenis tes adalah tes kosakata, apakah tes terdiri dari pre-test dan post-test. Berdasarkan hasil uji T sampel independen pada data pra dan pasca yang dianalisis, diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000, yang lebih besar dari tingkat signifikan (a) yang digunakan 0,05.karena untuk dapat mengatakan signifikansi itu harus >0,05. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan nilai pre test dan post test yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Permainan spelling bee berdampak pada pertumbuhan kosakata. Karena kosakata dapat digambarkan paling baik sebagai istilah yang dipelajari dalam bahasa, mengajar kosakata jelas memerlukan lebih dari sekadar memperkenalkan kata-kata baru. Abstract The spelling bee game is used to helping students improve their vocabulary and their knowledge of English spelling, pronunciation..These research used quantitative research with applied an experimental research,to test the impact of a treatment on an outcome,it consern to finding out the effectivness between two variabel in the same time. The populasi of this research on the VII grade students of SMPN 03 Kota Palopo in the academic year of 2023/2024. The number of population was 280 students. There were 10 class wich is 28 students in the class. furethur the researcher choose 2 classes as the sample,next the researcher devides into two groups 14 students for the experimental groups and 14 students for the control groups,the sample class is VII A consisted 14 students,the researcher took the sample with mix. The instrument of this research is test,the kind of test was vocabulary test,were the test consist pre-test and post-test. Based on the independent sample T- test results on the analyzed pre and post data a significance value of 0,000was obtained,which is greater than the significant level (a)used of 0,05.because to be able to say it significance it must be >0,05. Therefore it can be concluded that there is significant different pre test and post test values between the experimental group and control groups.The spelling bee game has an impact on vocabulary growth.Since vocabulary can be described best as the terms that are learnt in the language, teaching vocabulary obviously entails more than just introducing new words. Abstract

Adolescence is a time when a person will find out his own identity. When adolescents look for their own identity, it is necessary to build a legitimate character so that the teenager is not wrong in forming his identity. Even in adolescence a person will tend to follow along, often indecisive in religion, and others. This research was made because of the many problems of adolescents that often arise due to cultural development, as well as the lack of an education system that pays attention to adolescent psychology and social. This research uses library research methods and all data collected from references to books, journals, or documents that are still relevant to the title of this study. A rema ja who has problems in terms of reluctance to be religious can make several efforts, namely filling free time with positive things, such as attending recitations, learning more deeply about religion or can also join Islamic organizations. To solve adolescent problems is not only done by him but also requires the role of parents in it.
