Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of caregivers' emotional support on the self-concept of adolescents at the Saadatul Banaat orphanage in Bulukumba. This study used a descriptive qualitative method in the form of written narratives from the research subjects and observed behavior. In this study, the researchers determined the research location to be the Saadatul Banaat orphanage in Bulukumba District, South Sulawesi. The results showed that the emotional support of caregivers affected the self-concept of adolescents at the Saadatul Banaat Bulukumba orphanage, where adolescents found it easier to accept their situation, believe in their abilities, have a positive image of themselves, and have a desire to develop self-confidence in interactions so that they are optimistic about developing their potential.

Abstract

The degree of necessity and ingenuity shown by Indonesia's authorities and the Muslim community, which serves as its principal backer, is what essentially determines how contemporary Islamic education in that country is. In order to satisfy the requirements and expectations of the Islamic community in the area of Education in the current period, the flexible and dynamic structure of the Islamic educational institution system enables it to continue to expand and adapt to its living environment. Throughout the early 20th century, several experiments—conducted by both people and organizations—have been made with this end in mind. How can they incorporate modernism while keeping Islamic education true to its roots? Investigate KH's educational reform's concepts and initiatives to that goal. Hashim Asy'ari had a significant role in the growth of madrassas in the nation. It was determined using a descriptive-analytical technique that Hashim's dedication to his renewal efforts while adhering to tradition in a wide sense led to a new structure of Islamic Education, which helped create a solid basis for the modernity of Indonesian Islamic Education. The most significant contribution made by K.H. Hasyim was his ability to combine elements of modernity and tradition of Islamic education while maintaining "nur ilahiyah" as its central axis. Because of this, madrasahs have their own identity and are distinct from public schools, even though the government has "nationalized" madrassas by treating them similarly to public schools.

Abstract

Semakin liberalisme zaman seolah menggerus aqidah dan pemahaman seseorang kepada Islam, sebagai pedoman hidup bagi manusia. Tak hanya kalangan orang dewasa bahkan kalangan para pelajarpun yang notabene mereka adalah manusia yang baru tumbuh. Perlu banyak adaptasi serta pembinaan dan pengajaran karena belum matangnya cara berfikirnya. Hingga kita lihat, begitu banyak penyimpangan yang dilakukan meski status pelajar lekat pada diri mereka. Fenomena ini yang kemudian menjadi awal mengapa peniliti hendak menyusun tulisan ini. pendidikan yang harusnya menjadi solusi nyatanya juga tergerus oleh pemahaman sekulerisme liberal yang makin mencokol. Maka perlu adanya upaya masif untuk menyelaatkan generasi. Untuk itulah tylisan lahir, mencoba menjawab tantangan tersebut. Bagi peneliti perlu adanya pembinaan aqidah pada diri peserta didik. Karena aqidah inilah yang akan menjadi stimulum bagi peserta diidk untuk dapat memilah milih apa yang akan mereka lakukan dalam kehidupan ini. aqidah inilah yang akan menjadi landasan pemikiran yang berubah menjadi pemahaman untuk mengontrol perilaku peserta didik. Adapun tujuan penulisan jurnal ini selain untuk memaparkan upaya pembinaan aqidah bagi peserta didik, peneliti juga menjadikan buku ‘Aqidatul Muslim Karya Muhammad Ghazali yang sarat akan pembahasan mengenai nilai-nilai aqidah dan akhlak, agar dapat diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sehingga nantinya dapat dijadikan alternatif solusi dalam melakukan pembinaan aqidah kepada peserta didik, sehingga peserta didik akan lahir menjadi pribadi muslim yng diharapkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneeliti adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Hal ini dikarenakan untuk menganalisa secara mendalam dari berbagai data yang didapatkan pleh peneliti, baik data yang sifatnya primer maupun data yang sifatnya sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan beberapa teknik, yakni teknik observasi pustaka pada buku ‘Aqidatul Muslim karya Muhammad Ghazali, serta literatur-literatur terkait yang membahas tetang pembinaan aqidah, baik yang berasal dalam buku lain, majalah, koran dan sebagainya. Hasil dan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengkaji buku ‘Aqidatul Muslim karya Muhammad Ghazali, kemudian memaparkan pembinaan aqidah yang tercantum dalam buku tersebut kemudian mengembangkannya untuk dapat diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sehingga dapat menjadi solusi atas probelatika yang terjadi.

Abstract

This study aims to describe student management that takes place at Mulia Private School in Rantang City Village. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collected by interview, observation and documentation study. In this study, the subjects of the study were the principal, vice principal in student affairs and several students and teachers in the subject area of ​​this school. This study shows that the ongoing student management process is in accordance with the scope of student management, and was prepared by the school in accordance with technical instructions from the education office.

Abstract

The learning process is an important aspect of education because learning is the core of the educational process. The learning process will always take place in an activity at school, he explained, namely learning activities in class. These activities need to be created and developed into a vehicle for the success of an effective learning process. This means that separate management is needed to develop the activity, and the management in question is classroom management. As for the studies in this writing are: (1). To find out the teacher class management plans at SMP-IT AL-Fityan School Medan, (2). The ability to manage classes carried out by teachers at SMP-IT Al-Fityan School Medan, (3) What are the obstacles in managing classes. The conclusions from this study are as follows: (1) Classroom management by the teacher to achieve learning objectives must be planned in advance with clear and functional steps as teaching preparation materials; (2) The teacher must consider the characteristics and needs of students in managing the class, so that the learning method/media used is more appropriate; and (3) in classroom management, a teacher needs a variety of skills and teaching methods to meet students' needs so that learning conditions remain optimal.

Abstract

This study discusses the viewing learning model. The purpose of this research is to determine the presence of the viewing learning model in the 5th grade of Muhammadiyah Bandongan Elementary School IT. The type of research conducted is qualitative research with a natural observation approach. Data collection methods were carried out by being a shadow teacher, followed by observation, interviews, and field notes conducted for one month at the research site. The results of the study show that the viewing learning model is divided into several categories. The first is visual literacy, and the second is critical viewing. Based on the observation results, there are 10 viewing activities that occurred over a period of 37 days. In the 5th grade of Muhammadiyah Bandongan Elementary School IT, language reading and viewing activities accounted for 14%, which means it exceeded half of the 25%. This proves that the implementation of the viewing learning method is already being applied in the 5th grade of Muhammadiyah Bandongan Elementary School IT. The viewing learning model is implemented in several subjects, including Indonesian language, mathematics, science, social studies, arts and crafts, and physical education. This study emphasizes that the use of the viewing learning model plays an important role in enhancing students' visual literacy. Through the appropriate approach, students can develop a deep understanding of visual messages.

Abstract

This research is Quasi Experimental Research. The objective of this research is to investigate the process of improving students’ English vocabulary by using word find game. The respondents in this research are the eleventh grade students of MAN Bantaeng, consist of 30 students which divided into two group of class where 15 students from MIA 2 as experiment class and 15 students from MIA 1 as a control class. In collecting data, this research used pre-test and post-test. Data calculation using SPSS v.20. The independent variable of this research is word find game and the dependent variable of this research is students’ english vocabulary. This research used random sampling technique. The results of the research showed that score test on pre-test in experiment class was 74.33 and score test pre-test in control class was 65.00. The score post-test in experiment class was 92.67 and score post-test in control class was 76.73. The results of the research showed that the implementation of word find game can increase students' English vocabulary.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the effect of problem-based learning on students' mastery of scientific concepts and attitudes. This type of research is a quasi experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study were 50 students of class V SD Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar. The sampling technique was carried out through saturated sampling. Data were collected through test, questionnaires, and observation techniques. Data were analyzed through descriptive and inferential analysis, namely the independent t test. The results showed that problem-based learning had a significant effect on the mastery of scientific concepts and attitudes of fifth grade students at SD Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar.

Abstract

transformation of digitalization of education which is growing rapidly. This digitalization technology brings new challenges to educational institutions so that they can compete with other educational institutions through learning modernization. Responding to this phenomenon, MTs Almaarif 01 Singosari as an Islamic-based school seriously contributes to planning sustainable learning by digitizing learning. The purpose of this research is to find out the existence of Islamic institutions in digitalization transformation through the Virtual Gallery innovation, as well as to analyze the obstacles and challenges that occur within them. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to process the data. The data collection techniques used included observation, document study of grades and student projects, literature studies, and interviews with teachers and students. The results of the study prove that digital transformation can help Islamic educational institutions maintain their existence in today's modern era. However, various problems were encountered in the implementation process such as students' difficulties using e-learning features, gaps in teachers' ability to use technology and differences in policies experienced by students

Abstract

This study aims to produce a valid and reliable Science Process Skills (KPS) assessment instrument in learning Physics temperature and heat material. The research is a Research and Development study with the ADDIE model. The research was conducted at Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Junior High School in Medan. The sample in the study came from 2 physics education lecturers and 3 physics teachers. The instruments in this study were a 15-item multiple choice KPS test sheet and a validation questionnaire. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and validation questionnaires. The KPS indicators studied were observing, formulating hypotheses, identifying variables, interpreting data, communicating, and applying concepts. Data analysis is quantitative and qualitative data analysis with the help of the SPSS version 21 application. The results validation value of 34%, language validation of 31% and validation of 35% with decent criteria, reliability of 0.862 high criteria. This finding explains that the KPS instrument is very valid and reliable to be used in learning physics temperature and heat material.
