Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze effectiveness of problem-based learning model on critical thinking ability in financial management course. This type of research applies a quantitative approach. Population in the study are students at Medan City Private Universities. Based on needs and cost efficiency, sample in this study is 30 respondents. Hypothesis testing uses partial test. The research results show that application of problem-based learning model is felt to be quite effective in making students more active in participating in learning, thereby fostering students' ability to think critically in financial management courses. Statistically, it shows that problem-based learning model has a significant effect on critical thinking ability in financial management course.

Abstract

Abstrak Dance training in schools is one of the basics of learning in cultivating the talent and capacity of stunt actors, and dance learning is very important, considering that dance learning underlines the course of training in developing character which includes coaches and stunt performers and can build the imagination of stunt development for children. normal children as well as for children who have physical or mental disabilities who meet the requirements for dance learning. The aim of this research is to examine the creative dance movements of blind students who use the storytelling learning model in dance learning, as well as the process of incorporating this model into dance learning. This research uses a subjective methodology using fascinating investigative techniques. The subjects in this review were 2 people, namely fourth grade students, the school principal, and the homeroom teacher. Observation, interviews, tests, and documentation are data collection methods. The findings of this research are as follows: the narrative learning model with increased narration in dance learning is very useful in creating dance development imaginations for blind students in the dance experience. Abstract

Various educational problems in Indonesia can be studied by supervising education. Educational supervision is a process of assistance and support given to teachers in developing their abilities consisting of knowledge, skills, and creativity in teaching and commitment or motivation as a teacher. This study aims to examine and describe the source of authority for implementing educational supervision. This research is a literature study research. The results of this study state that in its implementation, the source of authority for the implementation of educational supervision in schools is carried out by the Principal or school supervisor, called a supervisor, who serves as a supervisor and controller of teacher performance. This supervision and control is carried out so that the teacher does not deviate from the role of teacher or educator. Based on the National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003, the principal or school supervisor supervises to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of learning. In this case, the principal or school supervisor is an illustration that a supervisor must have an official position that has authority or authority in supervising education.

Abstract

Soybean productivity in Jambi province is lower than national soybean productivity. One of the problems in increasing soybean production is pest attacks. This research aims to determine the population and level of attack by pod-destroying pests on several soybean varieties (Glycine max (L) Merrill). The research design used was a Randomized Block Design (RAK) which consisted of 5 treatments with 5 groups. Each treatment was repeated 5 (five) times, so that the total experiment consisted of 25 experimental units. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of variance technique and is followed by Duncan's multiple distance test (DNMRT) at the α = 5% level. The research results show that there are 3 types of pod destroying pests on soybean plants, namely E. zinkenella, R. linearis and N. viridula. Pod sucking attacks were seen in the five soybean varieties, attacks began to appear at 73 days after planting and 80 days after planting. The attack rate was observed at 73 HST with an attack rate of 9.69 - 5.04%. At 80 DAT observations, it was seen that the attack rate was increasing, the highest attack rate occurred on the Anjasmoro variety at 26.22% and the lowest attack rate was on the Jayawijaya variety at 7.43%

Abstract

This research was carried out based on the results of observations of teachers who only use the lecture method in teaching Mandarin vocabulary, and there are still many students who still have difficulty understanding the meaning and use of vocabulary, as well as making sentences using Mandarin vocabulary. This research was conducted for finding out whether the lecture method plus demonstration and exersice could improve the ability of Immanuel II Sungai Raya Christian Vocational School students in making sentences using Mandarin vocabulary. Data collection in this research used experimental, observation, literature and test methods. This research was conducted by comparing the use of the lecture method for the control group and the lecture method plus demonstration and exercises for the experimental group. The final results of the research showed that the experimental group students were able to use Mandarin vocabulary in making sentences very well compared to the control group, and the control group students experienced more mistakes in making sentences compared to the experimental group.

Abstract

The subjects in this study were teachers of SMAN 15 Tanjung Jabung Barat, 2023/2024 academic year. There are 15 teachers at SMAN 15 Tanjung Jabung Barat. Of the 15 teachers, 11 teachers who teach in class X. Because the implementation of the Sekolah Penggerak program is only in class X. Activities are focused on 11 teachers who teach Class X with the Merdeka Curriculum. The difference in action in each cycle is in the type of use of supervision techniques. The academic supervision technique used in cycle I was a group technique, and in cycle II it was an individual technique through peer empowerment. If after two cycles the PTS objectives have not been achieved, the sub-techniques of the two techniques are used variably. The researcher can conclude that the performance of teachers at SMAN 15 Tanjung Jabung Barat in preparing Teaching Modules based on the Merdeka Curriculum is significantly improved through optimizing academic supervision with peer reinforcement. The implementation of individual techniques as an intensification of peer assistance is carried out in five steps applied by researchers to teachers whose performance is still low, or certain difficulties such as in the formulation of triggering sentences and assessments. In cycle II, the achievement of the MA section continued to increase. In the information section 97, then the core section reached 77, 80, 70, 63, and 77. The core competency section reached 70, 70, 80, 67, 67, 73, 70, and 87. The assessment section reached 70, 67, and 70. The enrichment section reached 70, 77. The reflection section reached 67 and 60. The appendix section reached 67, 73, and 63. Bibliography reached 73. The predicate in Cycle II no longer has the predicate not suitable, less suitable becomes 13%, the appropriate predicate appears at 87%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the forms of the Sumang language in community implementation in the Bener Kelipah Utara community, Bener Kelipah District, Bener Meriah Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method using sociolinguistic studies. The data in this research are spoken words, sentences spoken by speaker 1 and speaker 2, while the data source is the conversation of speaker 1 and speaker 2 in everyday life. The data collection technique in this research uses the listening method followed by the free, skillful listening technique, recording technique and note-taking technique. The data analysis technique used is the matching technique with the power to select the determining elements and the comparison technique to equate and the comparison technique to differentiate. Based on the research results, 4 data were obtained which included various forms of Sumang. The results of this research show that the language attitudes of the people of Bener Kelipah Utara, Bener Kelipah subdistrict, Bener Meriah Regency are classified as negative language and there are 4 types of Sumang, namely Sumang, namely Sumang Perceraken (prohibition of words), Sumang Kenunulen (prohibition of sitting), Sumang Peangkaten (prohibition of travel) , and Sumang Penengonen (prohibition of sight). As a community of the Gayo tribe, especially the people of Bener Kelipah Utara, Bener Kelipah sub-district, Bener Meriah Regency who have Sumang customs as rules or procedures in life, these Sumang customs should be maintained and preserved in social life.

Abstract

Sains dan agama adalah satu keilmuan yang saling berkaitan dan juga merupakan satu keilmuan yang utuh. Al-Qur’an dan hadis yang tidak ada keraguan di dalamnya tidak akan pernah lepas dari pengetahuan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, tidak lain hanyalah untuk mengetahui pada integrasi sains dan agama. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan library riset, yang data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terpaku pada kajian literarur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya keterkaitan antara sains dan agama. Sejatinya al-Qur’an sudah menjelaskan segala sesutau yang berhubungan dengan sains. Abstract

Pondok pesantren menjadi salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang memainkan peran penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan kepribadian individu, khususnya santri Keberadaan seorang pengasuh atau pemimpin di dalam pesantren memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam mengarahkan, membimbing, dan membentuk karakter santri. Sehingga dengan hal tersebutlah membuat penulis tertarik untuk melakukan mini riset dengan judul kontribusi pengasuh pesantren dalam pembentukan karakter santri di pondok pesantren Al-Barokah Umarul Yahya Yogyakarta. Tujuan dari penlitian ini, hanyalah untuk mengetahui pada apa saja bentuk kontribusi seorang pengasuh pesnatren Al-Barokah Umarul Yahya Yogyakarta dalam membentuk pada karakter santri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, karena penelitian ini bersifat fleksibel, dinamis, dan eksploratif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh penulis meliputi pada wawancara mendalam dan observasi yang terdiri dari beberapa personal yang meliputi pada Ngahadi sebagai pengasuh pesantren, serta aufiqurrahman, hanif, dan Muhammad Zainurriza sebagai guru. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa kontribusi kontribusi pengasuh pesantren dalam pembentukan karakter santri di pondok pesantren Al-Barokah Umarul Yahya Yogyakarta terdapat tujuh hal, yang meliputi pada memberikan teladan yang baik, konseling spiritual, pendampingan dalam ibadah, pendidikan nilai moral, memberikan binaan etika dan tanggung jawab, memberikan peningkatan sosial, serta mengikut sertakan para guru dalam membentuk karakter santri.

Abstract

The educational media utilized by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) reflects a holistic approach in delivering Islamic teachings. Prophet Muhammad employed various media, including two-dimensional and three-dimensional visual aids such as charts, graphs, posters, images, and maps, as well as projected aids like films, slides, and PowerPoint presentations. Furthermore, he distinguished media based on their material nature, comprising tangible items such as the Qur'an, elements of nature, depictions of the worldly and afterlife scenes, and intangible elements like exemplary behavior, directives, and rewards or punishments.Educational media not only varies in form but also encompasses observable objects, images, lines, and the evolution of modern educational media like video, audio, and films. In the context of learning, the presence of media plays a crucial role in facilitating material delivery, simplifying complex concepts, and aiding the understanding of learners. This approach, as applied by Prophet Muhammad, provides insights for the development of improved and relevant Islamic educational media within the modern educational context.
