Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is concern in publishing the original research articles, review articles from the contributors and the current issues related to multidisipline of education. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan focuses on the following topics: Curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, quality of education, and the use of communication and information technology, at various levels of education and how to deliver learning. It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. This journal has been accredited in Grade 4 (Sinta 4) based on the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology No. 158/E/KPT/2021, December 27, 2021.

Abstract

Informasi digital menjadi media digital marketing bagi semua aspek dan kalangan. Begitupun pada dunia Pendidikan, dalam memperkenalkan dan memperbaiki citra Pendidikan. Melalui digital marketing, calon konsumen akan mengenal dan mulai tertarik untuk lebih mengetahui Lembaga Pendidikan tersebut. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk membahas strategi marketing untuk meningkatkan citra Pendidikan di Lembaga Pendidikan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dan Bibliometrik yang dilakukan untuk menganalisis hasil data berupa penilaian ilmiah mengenai strategi marketing. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik analisis bibliometric menggunakan software VOSviewer. Review ini menganalisis 47 artikel ilmiah dari database Google Schoolar selama periode 2018-2023. Hasil pencarian jurnal sebanyak 200 hingga menghasilkan 47 jurnal yang telah sesuai dengan kriteria yang di pilih oleh peneliti mengenai kata kunci Manajemen Strategi dan analisis menggunakan bibliometric telah mengidentifikasi co-authorship dan co-accurance, yang paling aktif berpengaruh di bidang ini. Studi literatur ini dapat menjadi sumber referensi untuk penelitian lebih lanjut tentang manajemen strategi.

Abstract

The focus of the problem in this research is how 1) the description of Multicultural Education maccera manurung 2) how the implications of cultural values maccera manurung on elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the description of Multicultural Education maccera manurung 2) the implications of cultural values maccera manurung on elementary school students. The data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The data analysis in this research is descriptive, qualitative data analysis. The subjects of this research are traditional leaders, students who have implemented the maccera manurung culture and elementary school teachers in the Kaluppini Customary Area. The results of this study show an overview of the maccera manurung culture in the Kaluppini community and the main values in the maccera manurung procession that have implications for elementary school students. These values are described in the procession of maccera manurung culture, among others: ma'balla (respect for others, empathy, respect for God, cooperation) massajo (responsibility, trust, courage, honesty, discipline, love for the country, order) kasiturutan (togetherness, order, discipline, tolerance, courtesy). The implications of maccera manurung multicultural education for elementary school students in this study were identified in the form of empathy, student character and positive social relationships with others in elementary school students

Abstract

One unique component that contributes to an individual’s intellect is their capacity for calculation. The Congklak game is one of the most useful educational tools for helping primary school pupils improve their numeracy abilities. An ancient game that continues to rise in popularity in Indonesian society is congklak. This kind of research uses experimental methodologies and is quantitative in nature. Pre Experimental Designs is the design that was employed in this study. One Group Pretest-Posttest Design is the type of pre-experimental design that is employed. A significant value (p) of 0.000 < 0.05 was found for the Paired Sample T-Test analysis, yielding a value of t = -11.730. This demonstrates that class I students at SDN 22 Bilah Hulu had a different average numeracy ability before and after receiving learning materials in the form of the classic game congklak. After receiving learning materials in the style of the classic Congklak game, students’ average numeracy skill is higher than it was prior to receiving the conventional Congklak game learning materials. This study demonstrates the efficacy of the classic Congklak game learning resource in raising primary school students’ numeracy proficiency.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the development of video-based economic learning media. This research uses research and development research, using the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) development model. The subjects that will be used in this research are class X students at the Medan City Private High School, consisting of 30 students. The object of this research is video-based learning media for economics subject matter as a learning medium. Data analysis techniques are used to calculate a valid and practical scale of the products produced. The research results show that the development of video-based economic learning media consists of analyzing the curriculum, student needs, subject matter, and formulating objectives.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the application of problem-based learning to improve creative thinking abilities in economics and business student. This research is classroom action research carried out at Medan City Private Universities in the odd semester 2023-2024. The informants in the research are 10 economics and business students at Medan City Private Universities in the odd semester 2023-2024. Data analysis in this research uses qualitative descriptive. The steps for implementing this research consist of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research results show that problem-based learning can improve creative thinking abilities in economics and business student at Medan City Private Universities in the odd semester 2023-2024.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between learning environment and economic condition on learning achievement. This research uses quantitative methods. Population used in this research are Medan City Private University students. Based on determining the target sample, sample in the research are 50 students from Medan City Private University. Data analysis in this study used a correlation test. The research results show that there is a relationship between learning environment and learning achievement in Medan City Private University students. There is a relationship between economic condition and learning achievement in Medan City Private University students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the synergy of top management within the educational foundation in the school's efforts to create a quality educational environment at Albuhari Labuhanbatu Vocational School. The research was conducted using qualitative descriptive methods at Albuhari Labuhanbatu Vocational School 2023. Data collection methods in this research used interview, observation and documentation techniques. Research shows that funds play a role as supervisors, mentors and coaches in implementing the development of a quality learning environment. This is seen in the selective decisions of administrators and the selection of teaching staff. The principal is the engine that drives the process of creating a quality learning environment. Creating a quality learning environment in schools requires three elements: input, process, and results. These three things are interdependent. Without good implementation and learning processes, the results of an educational institution will not be optimal. There are many obstacles in developing a quality learning environment, but with the cooperation and involvement of all parties in the school, such as the foundation and the principal, all of these can be overcome. Foundations, principals, and staff must work together to overcome the challenges that hinder the development of quality learning environments. It can be concluded that the role of the foundation in creating a quality educational environment at Al-Bukhari Labuhan Batu Vocational School has been quite effective. This shows that the Foundation plays an important role and synergizes well with the school principal in developing a quality learning environment at Albuhari Labukhanbatu Vocational School.

Abstract

The emphasis on the development of Social-Emotional Competence (SEC) in Elementary Schools has increased during the independence curriculum policy. Still, this emphasis also requires teachers to understand learning strategies and the complex nature of students' social-emotional development. This study explores how schools that implement Social-Emotional Competence (SEC) learning affect students' social-emotional intelligence. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation to provide conclusions. This study examines the various strategies implemented in this school, including the curriculum, teaching methods, and teacher challenges in implementing SEC Learning. The results of the study indicate that the systematic integration of Social-Emotional Competence (SEC) learning into the Elementary School curriculum significantly positively affects students' social-emotional and academic development.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the minimum number of male kindergarten teachers is increasingly visible in Indonesia, so that people increasingly think that kindergarten teachers are a woman's profession. This results in an imbalance of gender roles in Kindergarten. Discussion of gender-related issues in kindergarten is considered too commonplace and often escapes society's attention. The aim of this research is to describe and analyze gender stereotypes which result in a minority of male teachers in kindergarten. Not only that, this research also provides an alternative view of the role of a man as a teacher in kindergarten. This research is a literature study that uses a qualitative approach. The results of this research are stereotypes that grow and develop in society regarding male kindergarten teachers, including; firstly, kindergarten teachers are attached to feminine traits, while men are attached to masculine traits, secondly, the assumption is that male kindergarten teachers are "gay", thirdly, the kindergarten profession which is not financially promising is not suitable for men who are charged with the role of "backbone", fourth, men must have challenging work, while the profession of kindergarten teacher is a profession that is not challenging and has low risk.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze effect of problem-based learning model on learning outcomes in microeconomic course. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. Population in this study are students from Medan City Private Universities. Due to the large population, sample is determined randomly, namely 50 respondents. The data analysis technique in this research uses simple linear regression analysis. The research results show that problem-based learning model has a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes in microeconomic course.
