Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. Abstract

Nowadays, almost everyone has a smartphone. This smartphone is a smart phone which contains a variety of advanced features whose function is to simplify human life. Because this smartphone works easily, everyone can be worn. Therefore, not a few children already have smartphones. Smartphones actually have a lot of impact, both positive and negative. Smartphones can affect personality and can prevent children from accomplishing the developmental tasks they have to go through.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis faktor lingkungan sekolah yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengenai permasalahan: Faktor lingkungan sekolah yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar, di kelas V SDN 007 Suka Maju, narasumber dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 14 orang yang beruba 11 orang siswa dan 3 orang guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang mengunakan teknik analisis kualitatif, dengan variabel bebas lingkungan sekolah, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah motivasi belajar. Pengumpulan data dengan mengunakan instrumen observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Observasi dan wawancara digunakan untuk memperoleh data lingkungan sekolah dan motivasi belajar siswa. Teknik analisis datanya dengan langkah-langkah: Reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa: 1) Faktor lingkungan sekolah yang mempengaruhi Motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SDN 007 Suka Maju dipengaruhi oleh lima faktor lingkungan sekolah yaitu metode mengajar, keadaan gedung, relasi guru dengan siswa, relasi siswa dengan siswa, dan alat pembelajaran atau media belajar, 2) Dari kelima faktor tersebut yang paling dominan mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa adalah faktor metode mengajar, dan media belajar. Yang mana dengan adanya metode mengajar dan media yang bervariasi bisa mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat keterampilan teknik dasar peserta klub sepakbola SSB YF13 Kota Lubuklinggau. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, sementara itu metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan teknik tes dan pengukuran. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa peserta klub sepakbola YF13 Kota Lubuklinggau tahun 2021 dengan jumlah sampel penelitian 20 orang yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Variabel penelitian adalah tingkat keterampilan dasar sepakbola peserta klub sepakbola YF13 Kota Lubuklinggau tahun 2021. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil bahwa keterampilan dasar peserta sepakbola YF13 Kota Lubuklingga tahun 2021 yakni dengan nilai rata-rata 20,01 termasuk dalam kategori cukup. Keterampilan teknik dasar sepakbola atlet kategori baik sekali sebesar 0% (0 atlet) , kategori baik sebesar 35,0% (7 atlet), kategori cukup sebesar 35,0% (7 atlet), kategori kurang sebesar 20,0% (4 atlet), dan kategori kurang sekali sebesar 10,0% (2 atlet).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of need for the use of the Blended learning model on learning outcomes during the Covid 19 pandemic. This type of research is a quantitative study. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the use of the Blended learning model on learning outcomes during the Covid 19 pandemic: (i) illustrates the need for the use of Blended learning models on learning outcomes during the Covid 19 pandemic starting from the government's call for the implementation of Work From Home (ii) the use of Blended learning models for learning outcomes during the Covid 19 pandemic seen from the results of the questionnaires that have been distributed are then processed and analyzed into the Very Practical category.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were, (1) to develop a prototype of multimedia learning in Computer Graphics course, (2) to test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of learning multimedia developed in Computer Graphics course. This research was a Research and Development (R&D) design with ADDIE model include thirty students as a sample. The procedure of this research until implementation stage. Instrument of the research was a questionnaire. Data of need analysis obtained based on the review of the exist curriculum, the characteristics of the materials and students need. The students need media that is not only in the conventional form of the file that just containing text but more than it, the media which is able to provide experience directly in the multimedia form that containing images, text, animation, and videos. The multimedia design of computer graphics learning is specifically designed from the structure, contents, menu placement, color selection, and so on to make it easier for lecturers and students. The results of this research are: (1) The results of the analysis of the data validity of the media are in the very valid category, this is obtained from the expert validation of material and media. (2) The results of the evaluation of the students' trials and the lecturers' responses to this multimedia are very practical. (3) this learning multimedia was effective as seen from the recapitulation of the pre-test and post-test learning outcomes assessment showing a significant increase in student learning scores.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media audio visual terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 001 Air Tiris dengan sampel kelas IVB sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas IVC sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media audio visual lebih tinggi (86,16) daripada menggunakan model konvensional (76,79). Hal tersebut dibuktikan dari hasil uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh nilai sig (2-tailed) (0,002) < α (0,05) sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media audio visual berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa.

Abstract

Pada masa pandemi Covid-19, pemerintah mewajibkan pembelajaran dilakukan secara online atau dalam jaringan. Aplikasi yang paling sering dalam pembelajaran dalam jaringan adalah aplikasi zoom. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui seberapa efektifnya penggunaan aplikasi zoom bagi mahasiswa Tadris Bahasa Inggris-1 semester VI, Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Medan. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dan menggunakan metode grounded theory. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner melalui Google Form kepada sepuluh mahasiswa Tadris Bahasa Inggris-1 semester VI, Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Medan. Hasil penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi zoom efektif bagi para mahasiswa Tadris Bahasa Inggris-1 semester VI, Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Medan. Dengan alasan banyak memberi kemudahan dan dilengkapi berbagai fitur pendukung pembelajaran dalam jaringan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is 1) to know the background of the carvings of pa 'barre allo, pa' manuk londong, pa 'tedong and pa' don sponge 2) know the moral message of the carvings of pa 'barre allo, pa' manuk londong, pa 'tedong and pa' don sponge. This research was carried out in Lembang Sa'dan Ulusalu, Sa'dan District, North Toraja, for a one year. This research is expected to be useful to: 1) the community as input and reference material in developing knowledge and providing information about moral messages in Toraja carvings. 2) for tourists, namely as an ingredient to gain insight into the Toraja culture, especially for local and foreign tourists who are quantitatively slowing down the Toraja culture for the first time. 3) for the regional government, to supporting the regional government in the development and maximum use of the tourist potential that is present in Toraja carvings 4) for the tourism office, as a reference to tourism management 5), fo the pimary school students as a reference to moral values ​​and social values. The results of the study show that Toraja carvings or Passura 'Toraya' have long been known by the Toraja as a form of communication represented by symbols. Each of these symbols contains moral messages that the ancestors conveyed to their children and grandchildren so that their descendants and later always live in the noble values ​​of the Torasonga Royong culture and become a light for others and especially for pimary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan efektifitas video tutorial dalam pembelajaran keterampilan membuat tempat buah dari gelas plastik bekas bagi anak tunagrahita ringan kelas IX di SLBN 1 Ranah Pesisir. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan pendekatan Single Subject Research (SSR) desain A-B-A, yang dilaksanakan selama 18 sesi dengan tiga kondisi, yaitu 3 sesi pada kondisi baseline (A1), 9 sesi pada kondisi intervensi (B), dan 6 sesi pada kondisi baseline (A2). Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi langsung dan tes perbuatan menggunakan alat pengumpulan data berupa instrumen tes perbuatan, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik visual grafik. Hasil analisis data pada kondisi baseline (A1) yaitu 43%, 43%, 43%. Pada kondisi intervensi (B) diperoleh hasil 48%, 48%, 57%, 62% 52%, 76%, 86%, 86%, 86%. Kemudian pada kondisi baseline (A2) diperoleh hasil 67%, 76%, 76%, 86%, 86%, 86%. Hal ini menunjukkan, keterampilan anak tunagrahita ringan dalam membuat tempat buah dari gelas plastik bekas mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikan intervensi berupa video tutorial. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa video tutorial efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran keterampilan membuat tempat buah dari gelas plastik bekas bagi anak tunagrahita ringan.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the perceptions of primary school teacher education students regarding STEAM. The type of research used in research is a qualitative-descriptive type of research. A questionnaire, consisting of 4 question items with multiple-choice answers and 48 statement items using a Likert scale. The collected data was transmitted in the form of questionnaire data to 100 students in the fifth semester of the Primary School Teacher Education UKI Toraja. The researcher then analyzed the data that had been collected. The results showed that, on average, students heard the term STEAM for the first time and only knew courses in the field of STEAM separately. The perception of the students towards STEAM regarding attitudes, opinions, and the environment is good. The students' motivation and belief to take courses in the STEAM area are already visible. The students are also very interested in studying STEAM courses and do not find these courses too difficult. The students also agree that the knowledge acquired in STEAM can help in developing a future career as a teacher. From an environmental point of view, however, the student's perception is positive that the curriculum, the facilities, the parents/relatives, and the lecturers strongly support STEAM learning.
