Jati Emas (Jurnal Aplikasi Teknik dan Pengabdian Masyarakat) is a scientific journal published by the Perkumpulan Dosen Indonesia Semesta (DIS), East Java Regional Board, with E-ISSN 2550-0821. The journal is published quarterly, in March, June, September, and December. Jati Emas aims to serve as a publication platform for scholarly works based on applied engineering and community service activities, particularly for early-career lecturers, students, and authors developing their scientific publication skills. The journal emphasizes author mentoring to ensure articles meet scientific standards, novelty, and publication ethics, and implements a published-in-ready system to accelerate the publication process. Its focus and scope include innovation and application of appropriate technologies, solving real community problems through scientific and engineering approaches, implementation of community service programs with direct impacts on community capacity building and welfare improvement, as well as the development of cross-disciplinary applied methods and practical solutions oriented toward social benefits.

Abstract

The low financial literacy of Indonesians remains a major challenge, especially in distinguishing between legal and illegal investments. This condition encourages the need for adaptive and accessible financial education. This activity aims to increase public understanding of the legality, risks, and investment strategies in commodity futures trading through a digital-based educational approach. The implementation was carried out online through the Zoom platform, involving interactive material delivery by broker representatives from PT Victory International Futures, and equipped with live trading simulations using the MetaTrader5 application. The results showed that participants gained a more comprehensive understanding of the legal and technical aspects of futures trading, and demonstrated an improved ability to analyze risks and make wiser investment decisions. Digital-based education has proven to be effective in reaching a wide range of people and has a positive impact on improving a sustainable financial literacy culture.

Abstract

This study examines the utilization of digital technology in PT Victory International Futures' employer branding strategy to increase recruitment, specifically targeting the Millennial Generation and Generation Z. By adopting a qualitative case study methodology, this study analyzes the implementation of digitalization in the recruitment process. The results showed a 50% increase in digital interactions within two weeks after the first content was released through social media such as Instagram, X, and WhatsApp. Active online interactions, including direct messages and comments, successfully built two-way communication and increased candidate interest. In addition, the socialization of career opportunities through webinars has improved participants' understanding of the company's culture and opportunities. Nonetheless, challenges such as a lack of technical expertise in optimizing social media algorithms and content consistency remain. The study concludes that the integration of digital technology not only improves recruitment efficiency and expands candidate outreach but also builds a modern and adaptive corporate image, and has the potential to foster long-term employee loyalty.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to analyze the potential use of spring water for bottled water production in Glempang Village, Banyumas Regency, using the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis method. The analysis results show that this village has great potential, supported by good water quality, a strategic location in the upstream area, high community participation, and existing infrastructure such as reservoirs. Local bottled water market opportunities and support from government programs create favorable conditions. However, there are challenges such as technical and financial limitations, inadequate infrastructure, and the threat of climate change and environmental degradation. The analysis results conclude that the development of the bottled water industry can be a model for a sustainable village economy, if managed well through strategic partnerships, capacity building, investment in appropriate technology, and a strong water quality management system.

Abstract

This society service examines the implementation of community-based marketing strategies by PT Naruna Karya Bersama through the digital platform Komunitas Demi Anak. This marketing strategy aims to increase brand awareness, strengthen customer engagement, and convey product information organically. The society service method involved the use of a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, documentation, and unstructured interview methods during the internship. The results showed that the community plays an important role in building emotional relationships between companies and consumers. Routine activities such as kulwap (WhatsApp lectures), quizzes, and discussions are considered to be able to encourage members' understanding of parenting patterns, while strengthening the company's image as an educational partner. The existence of the community also facilitates the promotion process without a one-on-one personal approach, making it more efficient. However, there are still obstacles in the form of limited implementation time and suboptimal member participation. In general, community-based marketing is considered effective for start-up companies such as PT Naruna Karya Bersama and has the potential to become a long-term strategy in building customer loyalty.

Abstract

Koperasi Multi Pihak Sarwa Adem Mulya is a ruminant livestock-based cooperative located in Malang, East Java. The cooperative has great potential for business development but faces challenges in utilizing information technology, particularly in digital promotion and education. This community service activity aims to develop a cooperative website using the WordPress-based Content Management System (CMS) to strengthen its position in the digital era. The implementation method includes needs analysis, website design and development, training for cooperative administrators, as well as monitoring and evaluation of website usage effectiveness. The developed website features key components such as a cooperative profile, livestock product catalog, educational modules, and basic e-commerce integration. The results show that the website has been successfully implemented through the cooperative's official domain, and administrators are able to independently manage the content. Furthermore, an increase in digital literacy among administrators was observed based on pre-test and post-test evaluations. This website is expected to serve as a sustainable medium for promotion and education, and as a replicable model for the digitalization of other livestock cooperatives.

Abstract

Webinars are a powerful tool for combating misinformation about the futures brokerage industry. In collaboration with PT VIF Ciputra World, this community service activity took the form of a webinar. The primary goal was to educate participants from diverse social backgrounds. Results showed that 96% of participants were satisfied and gained a better understanding of the intricacies, legalities, and risks and opportunities of trading. This activity demonstrates that digital education is an effective way to introduce the futures brokerage industry in a positive and broad way. Going forward, collaboration and a variety of other media are needed to educate more people.

Abstract

Damakradenan Village, Ajibarang District has great potential in pure honey production through the “Petani Muda Prawita” Forest Farmer Group. This group produces various types of honey, including klanceng honey, mellifera bee honey, Apis cerana honeycomb honey, and sachet honey, with the main target market being children. However, product sales are still limited in the Banyumas Regency area and digital marketing has not been running optimally because it only relies on Instagram social media without an official website. This problem has an impact on limited market reach and consumer trust levels. This community service program is implemented to help partners increase promotion and sales through website development as a digital marketing medium. The stages of the activity include creating a website using the WordPress framework, the indexation process so that it can be found on the Google search engine, and website management training for partners. The results of the activity show that partners now have an official website with the domain prawitagarden.com, indexed on the Google search engine, and partners have been equipped with independent website administration skills. The existence of the website is expected to expand market reach, increase consumer trust, and support the continuity of the Prawita Garden honey business digitally

Abstract

Efficient stock management is a critical factor in the operational sustainability of Café D’Lagoon. The manual recording method previously used caused issues such as data errors, information loss, and slow processes. To address this, a Google spreadsheet -based stock management system was implemented as a simple, modern, and affordable solution. The program involved observation, discussion, training, and implementation. Results showed improved operational efficiency, including reduced stock-taking time, fewer recording errors, and better report accessibility. Employees independently adopted the new technology, enhancing stock management accuracy and speed. This implementation demonstrates that simple technology can significantly impact small business efficiency and serves as an inspiration for similar businesses.

Abstract

Icip-Icip Cheese Makaroni UMKM located in Wirasana Village, Purbalingga Regency. This UMKM focuses on making snacks, especially cheese makaroni with various flavors. Currently, Icip-Icip Cheese Makaroni products are only sold in Purbalingga Regency. One of the problems faced by Icip-Icip Cheese Makaroni UMKM is that marketing is not optimal, so many people do not know this product. Competition in the cheese makaroni industry is very fierce with other brands, so Icip-Icip Cheese Makaroni UMKM must develop a marketing strategy through digital marketing in order to compete and increase sales. This service resulted in 91.67% of UMKM satisfaction and the e-commerce application was successfully 100% run.

Abstract

The hashtag #KaburAjaDulu emerged as a social phenomenon that received significant public attention in response to economic and social conditions at the local and national levels, particularly related to limited job opportunities. This study aims to analyze this recently viral phenomenon in relation to the trend of Indonesian migrant workers (TKI), especially TKI from Banyuwangi, going abroad. The analysis was conducted using a quantitative approach, to examine official statistical data regarding the number and distribution of TKI before and after the hashtag #KaburAjaDulu. Secondary data was obtained from the Banyuwangi Regency Manpower, Transmigration, and Industry Office. The results of the analysis are expected to provide a comprehensive picture of the relationship between the #KaburAjaDulu phenomenon and the dynamics of labor migration from Banyuwangi. This study aims to provide policy recommendations for the government in managing labor migration effectively. Thus, it is expected to contribute to understanding the administrative and social aspects behind the mobility of TKI from Banyuwangi in the context of regional development and public administration.
