Abstract

Early childhood education is a form of essential education for human life in the future. Education related to all of life experiences in different environments which have positive influence for individual development for lifetime. There are two reasons why parents bring their children to the school; the first one is so that their children have many friends to get playing or to learn how to socialize and the second one is to prepare their children for school. Parents want their children learn in early, learn to socialize, practice their maturity, and even build their responsibility in order to be ready to go to school.The selection method for the early childhood education (PAUD) needs to consider in some factors which do not reduce other potentials, for example by using method which involves children actively, considers to children interest and need, comprehends to children character, and knowswell the stages of children development. The method for the childhood is also adjusted with the stage of children development in which they play while studying. As a teacher or parents, we don’t need to force our children to study something. The applied method should also give opportunity for them to explore their world. In exploring, children tend to be acquainted with the religion, art, morality, politeness, and also beauty.

Abstract

AbstractOne of the many problems faced by education in Indonesia is the low quality. Several attempts have been taken by the government to resolve the issue, but the results is still far from expectations. Based on expert opinion, the problem of low quality education should be focused on improving the quality of learning, by developing and using instructional media or learning resources that is available in the learning environment. Learning video is an qfective medium to be used to facilitate student's learning and it suites to serve students of auditory and visual learning type. Therefore, to improve the learning process quality, teachers are not only expected to make use of media and learning resources that are available but also to develop the learning media, especially learning video

Abstract

The goal of the article is giving the understanding of bullying attitude happenend in school. The attitude mostly done by teneger counsicusly or uncounsculy arrund them.The forms os school bullying such us direct contac, direct verbal contac, non verbal attitude, sexual harassment and others.The prevention effort can be done by applying interactive Media. One of them media interactive is CD. By running this program, involving all the elements in school, parents, teachers, staff, and school community the involve in this program.

Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran yang selalu dilaksanakan di dakun ruangankelas secara tatap muka face to face) pada jam-jam tertentu yangtelah ditentukan deng~n tidak memberikan fleksibilitas di dalampengaturan waktu, jelas akan menjadi hambatan bagi subjekbelajar yang memiliki multi kegiatan. Subjek belajar yang harusbelajar dengan cara duduk, mendengarkan penjelasan pebelajar didalam ruangan kelas secara face to face akan cenderungmenimbulkan iklim belajar yang kaku. Suasana interaksipembelajaran yang demikian, belum tentu dapat membuat nyamansetiap subjek belajar. Program pembelajaran berbasis internetdimungkinkan dapat mengatasi kesulitan belajar yangdikarenakan adanya hambatan jarak, letak geografis, dan waktu,maupun berbagai kesibukan karena telah bekerja. Selain ituprogram pembelajaran berbasis internet yang dipadukan denganmodel pembelajaran konvensional akan mampu mengurangikelemahan pembelajaran konvensional yang mengandalkan tatapmuka antara dosen.dan mahasiswa. Dalam pembelajaran berbasisinternet dapat dimanfaatkan program pembelajaran CAI atau yanglebih dikenal dengan istilah program pembelajaran berbantuankomputer. Program pembelajaran CAI merupakan programpembelajaran interaktif yang di desain dengan memanfaatkankomputer sebagai penyampai pesan atau isi kepada si belajarsecara individual dalam suatu proses atau lingkunganpembelajaran individual. Sentuk-bentuk program CAI yang dapatdikembangkan antara lain yaitu: drill and practice, Problemsolving, simulation dan game. Pemanfaatan program CAI dalampembelajaran berbasis internet dapat dilakukan denganmenempatkan berbagai macam program soft ware CAI dalamsebuah server yang tersambung ke internet, sehingga dapat diaksesoleh peserta didik baik melalui Web-Browser ataupun FileTransport Protocol (Aplikasi Pengiriman File).

Abstract

Government’s program to improve elementary school or MI teachers’ qualification has been highly well responded by society. The teachers whose qualification is not yet equal to S1 degree are enthusiastically attending program of distance learning S1 PGSD held by 10 universities or Teacher Education Institutes (LPTK). Educational Science Faculty (FIP), Yogyakarta State University (UNY) is one of the LPTKs entrusted to conduct the program. In so doing, FIP has been implementing a distance learning system named Flexible Learning Model which requires web or internet support in carrying out the learning process.Yet, deemed as having web-based and blended learning system and model, the conduct of distance learning held by FIP is not as expected. The use of web is limited to e-mail leaving the other internet or web facilities. Moreover, FIP’s distance learning does not embrace interaction using online discussion forum which enables teachers and student to directly communicate at the same time (synchronous). This might lead to ineffective and less quality distance learning practice which in the end might bring about a less qualified graduate (read: teacher) since internet has been the most prominent support in determining the quality of interaction and learning process between teacher and student in distance learning program. Without optimal and effective use of internet, student and teacher cannot interact well and effectively.To this point, this paper aims to propose an alternative by designing and creating a particular website serving as the supporting software or Learning Management System media, providing a learning activity center, synchronous and asynchronous mode of student – teacher and student – student interaction, academic and administration information center, reviewing and testing media, digital library and e-material enabling student and teacher to independently learn. In addition, a website particularly designed in such a way to address needs and the characteristics of the Faculty’s distance learning program will certainly benefit the teacher in that it provides a record of all teaching and learning activitues conducted through web, which functions as a portofolio.Government’s program to improve elementary school or MI teachers’ qualification has been highly well responded by society. Abstract

The study was aimed at getting information about the use of elearningby UT's students in their learning process. Specifically,the study was conducted in order to collect information aboutfactors that encouraged students to use Internet and the problemsthat students faced in using Internet in their learning process.The population of this study was UT's students who registeredcourses with flnline learning resourres. The sample was selectedby a purposive random sampling techuique with the criteria: UT'sstudents from four faculties and a fJOstwaduate school and coursesthat were registered by many students. Data collected weredescriptively analyzedThe results of the study showed that f'1ctors encouraging students touse Internet in their learning process are the flexibility of use oftime for learning, the multiuse of Internet: for learning and fordoing works; and the speed of getting information. Even though,the students faced problems in using Iniernet for their learningprocess, such as geographical condition, the bad connection ofInternet, financial problem, the leek of facility (the provision ofcomputer), the lack of given information about Internet, and thelack of skills in using Internet.

Abstract

Pendidikan multikultur yang selama ini marak menjadi wacana dikalanganpara pemerhati pendidikan sebagai salah satu solusi terhadap kebinekaanIndonesia. Melalui penerapan pendidikan multikultur diharapkan adanyakekenyalan dan kelenturan mental bangsa menghadapi benturan konflik sosial,sehingga persatuan bangsa tidak mudah patah dan retak. Selain itu, melaluipendidikan multicultural pulalah diharapkan masyarakat dapat melihat perbedaandari sudut pandang yang berbeda. Perbedaan bukan sebagai sesuatu yang anehapalagi salah, melainkan sebagai kekuatan yang dapat menambah kekayaan dankeberagaman bangsa. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan instrumen evaluasi media modul pembelajaran untuk mahasiswa yang dapat digunakan untuk mengevaluasi modul dari aspek materi, pembelajaran dan aspek permediaan. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian pengembangan dengan mengacu pada langkah-langkah yang dikembangkan oleh Borg and Gall yaitu 1) Melakukan penelitian pendahuluan dan pengumpulan informasi, 2) Melakukan perencanaan 3) Mengembangkan produk awal  4) Melakukan uji coba permulaan, 5) Melakukan revisi terhadap produk utama  6) Melakukan uji lapangan utama, 7) Melakukan revisi terhadap produk operasional 8) Melakukan uji lapangan operasional 9) Melakukan revisi terhadap produk akhir 10) Mendesiminasikan dan mengimplementasikan produk.. Subjek penelitian 1 ahli materi, 2 ahli media dan 5 mahasiswa untuk uji utama dan 14 mahasiswa untuk uji operasional.  Metode pengumpulan data yaitu angket.. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik  deskriptif. Hasil penelitian secara umum menunjukkan  bahwa Instrumen Evaluasi Modul Pembelajaran untuk mahasiswa yang mencakup aspek fisik, aspek pendahuluan, aspek isi, aspek tugas/evaluasi, dan aspek rangkuman pada kategori baik dan dapat digunakan sebagai instrumen dalam mengevaluasi modul pembelajaran untuk mahasiswa.

Abstract

Family is a smallest unit than society unit. Family, especially parents can be an effective learning resource by utilization in instructional process for children at home. They can be the model which is imitated by children. With social cognitive theory from Bandura which is had an observational learning theory, family who’s be model can educate and bring up the children with their characteristics.Instructional process which is given at home by family must be synchronous with school experience and school lesson, especially moral. Example, children is touch about ABCD in the school, but they are touch about EFGH at home. It’s not good for children. So, it must be an effective communication between family (parents) and teacher at school.Family is model for children. And then, they must show interest in a children problem and have a certain attitude. Children will imitate anything which is done by people around them. So, family (parents) who’s be model should give a good atmosphere learning for children, and should give good lesson and good experience for children.
