Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital technology has increased adolescents’ vulnerability to Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), potentially affecting their spiritual development. This study examined the structural relationships among FoMO, school climate, self-control, and adolescent spirituality, with self-control as a moderating variable. A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted with 100 junior high school students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a 28-indicator questionnaire on a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The measurement and structural models demonstrated satisfactory validity, reliability, and model fit. School climate had the strongest direct effect on adolescent spirituality, followed by FoMO and self-control. Self-control significantly moderated the relationships between both FoMO and school climate with adolescent spirituality. Higher self-control reduced the adverse effects of FoMO and enhanced the positive influence of a supportive school environment. These findings indicate that adolescent spirituality is shaped by the interaction of environmental and psychological factors. The study contributes an integrated structural model and highlights the importance of strengthening positive school climates and self-control development in character and spiritual education programs.

Abstract

Adolescent reproductive health knowledge remains a global concern; WHO reports approximately 21 million pregnancies annually among adolescents aged 15–19 years, most of which are unintended. In Timor-Leste, the adolescent fertility rate reaches 33.8 births per 1,000 women aged 15–19, and students' reproductive health knowledge at São José Operario Balide School, Dili, remains low. This study aim to analyze the effect of reproductive health education on adolescents' knowledge before and after the intervention at São José Operario Balide School, Dili, Timor-Leste. This quantitative study employed a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. A sample of 70 eleventh-grade students aged 15–19 years was selected from a population of 180 students using proportional stratified random sampling. The intervention consisted of reproductive health education delivered through lectures supported by PowerPoint media. Knowledge was measured using a 25-item Guttman-scale questionnaire and analyzed with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, as the data were not normally distributed (Kolmogorov–Smirnov, p < 0.05). Before the intervention, most respondents had poor knowledge (50%), followed by fair (33%) and good (17%). After the intervention, the good category increased to 46%, fair to 36%, while the poor category decreased to 19%. The Wilcoxon test yielded Z = −5.032 with p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference in knowledge scores before and after the education. Reproductive health education delivered through lectures supported by PowerPoint media significantly improved adolescents' knowledge, providing a basis for strengthening sustainable school-based reproductive health education programs.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence-assisted learning platforms have increasingly transformed higher education by providing personalized learning experiences and adaptive instructional support. However, evidence regarding their effectiveness in enhancing students' critical thinking and academic performance has remained fragmented across different research streams. This study aimed to synthesize contemporary evidence on the educational effectiveness of artificial intelligence-assisted learning platforms in higher education. A qualitative library research approach was employed by reviewing and thematically analyzing 39 scholarly publications on artificial intelligence in education, critical thinking, academic performance, learning analytics, intelligent tutoring systems, and ethical artificial intelligence implementation. The findings indicated that artificial intelligence-assisted learning platforms enhanced learning effectiveness through personalized learning pathways, adaptive feedback, learning analytics, and human–artificial intelligence collaboration. These mechanisms supported the development of critical thinking and improved academic performance when implemented within sound pedagogical practices. The synthesis also revealed that ethical governance, academic integrity, transparency, privacy protection, and digital literacy were essential conditions for sustainable and responsible artificial intelligence integration. This study proposed an integrated conceptual framework that explained the relationships among technological, pedagogical, and ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence-assisted learning. The findings provided theoretical insights and practical guidance for higher education institutions seeking to implement artificial intelligence to improve learning quality and student outcomes.

Abstract

Real-time rendering telah menjadi salah satu pendorong utama transformasi produksi animasi digital, terutama sejak berkembangnya teknik virtual production, neural rendering, dan 3D Gaussian splatting. Meskipun demikian, peta struktur pengetahuan global mengenai topik ini belum banyak dipetakan secara sistematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan tren, struktur intelektual, dan evolusi tematik penelitian real-time rendering dalam konteks produksi animasi digital melalui pendekatan bibliometrik. Data diperoleh dari basis data Scopus menggunakan kombinasi Boolean Search yang menggabungkan istilah real-time rendering dan animasi digital, dengan hasil awal 410 dokumen yang disaring secara bertahap hingga diperoleh 57 artikel jurnal final terbitan 2016–2025. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan Biblioshiny (Bibliometrix) dan VOSviewer, meliputi analisis kinerja publikasi, analisis kutipan, analisis kolaborasi negara, analisis co-occurrence kata kunci, pemetaan tematik (thematic map), dan evolusi tematik (thematic evolution). Hasil menunjukkan tren publikasi yang meningkat tajam pada 2021–2025, didominasi oleh kontribusi Tiongkok, Amerika Serikat, dan Jerman, dengan Amerika Serikat memimpin dari sisi dampak sitasi. Tema real-time rendering, animation, dan rendering (computer graphics) menempati kuadran Basic Themes/Motor Themes, sementara 3D Gaussian splatting dan neural radiance field muncul sebagai tema berkembang (emerging) pada periode terbaru. Studi ini mengidentifikasi celah penelitian pada integrasi teknik rendering berbasis neural representation ke dalam alur produksi animasi komersial serta menawarkan agenda penelitian masa depan bagi pengembangan pipeline rendering real-time yang lebih efisien dan dapat diskalakan.

Abstract

Riset animasi prosedural berkembang pesat seiring kemajuan pembelajaran mesin, namun struktur pengetahuan dan arah perkembangannya belum banyak dipetakan secara sistematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis struktur pengetahuan, tren tematik, dan perkembangan teknologi pada bidang procedural animation menggunakan pendekatan bibliometrik. Data diperoleh dari basis data Scopus dengan strategi pencarian Boolean yang menggabungkan istilah procedural animation, motion synthesis, dan character animation, kemudian disaring berdasarkan rentang tahun 2021–2025, jenis sumber jurnal, dan jenis dokumen artikel, sehingga diperoleh 339 artikel final untuk dianalisis menggunakan Bibliometrix/Biblioshiny dan VOSviewer. Hasil menunjukkan tren produksi ilmiah yang meningkat tajam sejak 2023, didominasi ACM Transactions on Graphics dan Computer Graphics Forum sebagai jurnal inti sesuai Hukum Bradford, dengan Tiongkok, Amerika Serikat, dan Prancis sebagai kontributor utama. Analisis ko-occurrence kata kunci dan pemetaan tematik mengidentifikasi character animation, animation, dan deep learning sebagai tema dasar dominan yang belum berkembang menjadi motor themes, sementara diffusion model dan motion generation muncul sebagai tema emerging. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa riset procedural animation tengah mengalami pergeseran paradigma dari pendekatan berbasis aturan menuju pembelajaran mendalam dan model generatif, dengan peluang penelitian yang masih terbuka pada integrasi model difusi dengan kendali interaktif.

Abstract

Outdoor and nature-based tourism has experienced rapid growth, accompanied by increasing scholarly interest in understanding how these experiences can be effectively marketed while promoting sustainability and visitor well-being. This systematic literature review synthesises findings from four thematic domains: (1) conceptual foundations and destination positioning; (2) psychological drivers and behavioral outcomes; (3) technology-enhanced visitor analytics; and (4) sustainability, ethics, and future directions. Drawing on empirical evidence from studies employing surveys, experiments, neuromarketing, GPS tracking, VR, topic modelling, and visual analytics, the review reveals that outdoor tourism behavior is shaped by experiential authenticity, emotional and cognitive engagement, identity formation, and social dynamics. Technological innovations provide powerful tools for understanding visitor behavior but raise significant ethical considerations related to privacy and transparency. Sustainability emerges as a central dimension, with experiential value and place attachment shown to promote environmentally responsible behavior. The review concludes by proposing the need for integrated theoretical frameworks, interdisciplinary methodological advances, ethical data governance, and community-centred approaches to ensure that outdoor tourism marketing is both impactful and sustainable.

Abstract

This study examines how visionary leadership is enacted and translated into organizational development within the Dhia Tasmirah Andrizal Foundation (YDTA), an educational-based non-profit organization. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving the foundation’s governing bodies and leaders of affiliated educational institutions. The findings indicate that visionary leadership at YDTA is not practiced primarily as a top-down articulation of a future-oriented vision. Rather, the vision is translated into organizational development through a multilayered leadership process in which foundation leaders and educational-unit leaders collectively interpret priorities, coordinate institutional initiatives, and adapt strategic decisions to changing organizational and societal needs. This finding reveals a tension with conventional conceptualizations of visionary leadership that emphasize the leader as the primary source and driver of organizational vision. At YDTA, the effectiveness of vision appears to depend less on the personal articulation of a compelling future and more on its institutionalization through distributed leadership, collaborative decision-making, and continuous adaptation across organizational levels. These practices were associated with the expansion of educational units, improvements in institutional quality, and increased student enrollment, while also strengthening organizational coordination and stakeholder engagement. The study therefore contributes an empirically grounded perspective on visionary leadership by showing how a future-oriented vision can become an organizational capability rather than remain an individual leadership attribute. The findings suggest that, in educational non-profit organizations, the sustainability of visionary leadership may depend on the organization’s capacity to distribute, interpret, and continuously enact the vision across institutional levels.

Abstract

Beach volleyball is contested on deformable sand under variable outdoor conditions, creating movement and load demands that differ from indoor volleyball and may challenge the assumptions of athlete-monitoring technologies. This systematic review mapped technology-based monitoring systems used in beach volleyball and synthesised evidence on their validity, reliability, applications, limitations, and research gaps. The review followed PRISMA 2020 and searched Scopus using a structured Boolean strategy. Of 403 records identified, 54 full texts were assessed and 22 peer-reviewed studies published from 2014 to 2026 were included. Six monitoring modalities were identified: satellite/local positioning systems, wearable inertial measurement units, computer vision, machine-learning analytics, video-based mobile applications, and wearable eye-tracking. Validation evidence was heterogeneous and was reported only where individual studies evaluated measurement properties. In official competition, an inertial device achieved 96.29% overall jump-detection sensitivity, while another IMU study reported jump-count precision of 0.975 and recall of 0.836–1.000 depending on jump type. For the My Jump 2 application, reliability ranged from ICC 0.91–0.97 under controlled sand-box conditions but only ICC 0.447–0.594 in open-field sand conditions. Direct comparison of GNSS and ultra-wideband systems also showed significant differences across kinematic outputs, indicating that their values should not be treated as interchangeable. The evidence therefore supports descriptive profiling and role-specific load monitoring, but not yet universal thresholds, cross-device benchmarking, or injury prediction. Future research should prioritise multi-database evidence retrieval, independent multi-reviewer screening, sex- and action-stratified validation, prospective injury surveillance, and multimodal integration.

Abstract

The meeting point of artificial intelligence and wearable sensing has quietly reshaped precision sport psychology. Athletes can now be monitored continuously, with cognitive and emotional states tracked at the individual level, something traditional self-report methods never quite captured. Yet the evidence on how AI actually turns physiological signals into psychological insight is scattered across sport science, engineering, and digital health. This systematic review follows the PRISMA 2020 framework to pull that evidence together. A structured Scopus search returned 112 records published between 2020 and 2025. After duplicates were removed and screening ran in two stages, 74 studies fell away at the title-and-abstract stage and 28 more after full-text assessment. That left 10 studies for qualitative synthesis, with 40 contextual records supporting the analysis. Eligible studies had to involve athlete populations, wearable physiological sensing, AI or machine-learning techniques, and psychological, cognitive, or affective outcomes. Three themes stood out. Electroencephalography combined with deep learning dominates cognitive-state classification. Multimodal integration of cardiac, electrodermal, muscular, and respiratory signals supports emotion and stress recognition. And telling psychological stress apart from physical stress remains the core methodological hurdle. What the evidence shows is that personalized, real-time psychological feedback is technically within reach, but it is still held back by small samples, laboratory settings, and limited external validation. Future work should push toward ecologically valid field studies, standardized labeling of psychological states, explainable AI models, and stronger data privacy for athletes. That is the path to real deployment in competitive sport.

Abstract

Tourism village development is often associated with economic growth and increasing tourist arrivals, while the social dimensions supporting tourism governance and community cohesion remain underexplored. This study examines the functions of social space in supporting community-based tourism sustainability in Cibuntu Tourism Village. A qualitative descriptive approach with a single holistic case study was employed. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 10 participants selected using purposive and snowball sampling, complemented by direct observation and document analysis. Data were analysed thematically, with credibility enhanced through triangulation, member checking, and extended field observation. The findings identify five interconnected functions of social space: community welfare, participatory governance, conflict resolution, tourism benefit sharing, and tourism experience. These functions are reflected in collective acceptance of the closure of sand mining and relocation of sheep enclosures through deliberation, a homestay guest-allocation system to distribute tourism opportunities, and meaningful interactions between residents and tourists. The findings demonstrate that social space functions not merely as an arena of interaction but as a relational mechanism that strengthens social solidarity, trust, participation, social legitimacy, benefit sharing, and harmonious stakeholder relationships. Thus, the sustainability of Cibuntu Tourism Village depends not only on its tourism resources but also on the community's capacity to maintain and reproduce its social space amid tourism development.
