Abstract

Molecular simulation, a cornerstone of computational chemistry, has revolutionized the understanding and design of chemical reactions. This study explores the application of computational chemistry methods in elucidating reaction mechanisms and guiding molecular design. Employing diverse algorithms rooted in classical and quantum mechanics, molecular simulations unravel the dynamic behavior of molecules, offering insights into spatial arrangements and temporal evolution. A comparative analysis of simulation algorithms reveals their mathematical foundations, exemplary applications, and computational costs. Standard computational modeling methods, including Density Functional Theory and molecular mechanics, strike a balance between accuracy and efficiency. Case studies demonstrate the efficacy of molecular dynamics and quantum mechanics calculations in dissecting enzymatic, organic, and gas-phase reactions. Computational methods contribute to predicting reaction pathways and mechanisms, accelerating the discovery of novel reactions. In molecular design, simulations guide conformational analysis and electronic structure predictions, culminating in successful drug discovery, materials science, and catalysis outcomes. Challenges, opportunities, and practical applications in research and industry are discussed. This study underscores the transformative role of molecular simulation in shaping the future of chemical research and molecular design

Abstract

Technology in education is a system used to support learning to produce desired targets. Indonesian technology implementation states that technology can be used as a learning intermediary, management tool and learning resource. The development of science and technology has had a positive influence on increasing openness and the spread of knowledge across space and time on a global scale. The teacher is the only source of learning for students. In this educational interaction pattern, the class teacher dominates teaching and learning activities. This teaching pattern does not or does not provide opportunities for the use of technology in teaching. Books, blackboards, teaching media, libraries have not played a role in the teaching and learning process. Such teaching patterns do not provide space for the development of technology in teaching. In facing improvements in the quality of education in the digital era, the role of teachers is very much needed. However, in practice, teachers face several challenges in the world of education in the digital era, such as: developments in technology and information have an impact on the increasingly rapid development of science.

Abstract

Improvements to public service systems and procedures leading to excellent public service provided by officials/bureaucrats to the public should be carried out with full attention so that it is hoped that it will generate positive views from both customers and officials providing services. Therefore, the implementation of public services must be carried out and run based on service principles in accordance with applicable regulations. This is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out using semi-structured interviews with 15 passport applicants, participant observation and documentation. The results of this research show that the quality of public services at the Bogor Class 1 Immigration Office has experienced a significant increase, and is in accordance with service standards according to the Decree of the Minister for Administrative Reform namely Kep. MENPAN No. 63/KEP/M.PAN/7/2003 which includes service procedures, completion time, service costs, service products, facilities and infrastructure, and competency of service officers.

Abstract

This literature review delves into the intricate dynamics of presidential elections, focusing on an international comparison between Indonesia and other countries from 2015 to 2020. The study explores historical contexts, democratic trajectories, socio-political landscapes, shifting voter dynamics, and the overarching objectives of presidential elections. Indonesia's unique transition to democracy and its impact on electoral processes are examined, highlighting the interconnectedness between the nation's democratic ideals and the dynamics of presidential elections. Socio-political landscapes emerge as crucial determinants, with regional variations, linguistic differences, and socioeconomic factors influencing voter behavior. Shifting voter dynamics are analyzed, emphasizing the role of economic conditions, educational levels, and regional disparities in shaping voter preferences. Thematic organization guides the exploration of overarching election objectives, encompassing campaign strategies, electoral participation, media influences, and more. A comparative lens is applied to discern commonalities and distinctions, synthesizing existing knowledge and contributing to the global discourse on presidential elections. Supported by a rigorous methodology, including a systematic search strategy and quality assessment, this study draws from diverse sources to ensure a robust foundation for cross-national comparisons. In conclusion, the research provides nuanced insights into the factors influencing presidential elections, contributing to a deeper understanding of the intricate dynamics shaping these pivotal democratic processes globally.

Abstract

Currently, in Indonesia's education system, there is a gender imbalance that remains apparent. In general, Indonesian society still holds the understanding that women belong to a lower group and are lower than men, although, in the context of education, all individuals, both men and women, have the same right to education. Ironically, education, which is supposed to be a learning space for both sexes, turns out to be more sought after by men than women. This is due to the patriarchal view, that is, the view that men hold higher and more valuable positions than women. Education plays a key role in achieving gender equality in society, because through education, social norms, knowledge, and skills can be transferred. In education, women are still lagging behind men. This condition is partly due to a lack of look in society that promotes and places people to get education from women. Education that promotes gender equality is a very important strategic issue. Efforts are needed to formulate national education policies that integrate gender in a concrete way, including in gender-based curricula. As a result, women's roles and potential become limited, even when they have a desire to contribute in the field of education. To prevent inequalities in the world of education, it is important to maintain and promote gender equality in social life.

Abstract

Rehabilitation is one of the government's efforts to handle abuse of narcotics, that the implementation of rehabilitation in efforts to handle narcotics abuse can be done in two ways, namely social rehabilitation which is an integrated process of recovery activities, both physical, mental, and social. Drug abuse is a case that is increasing day by day increasing, both in terms of quantity and quality. It is which cannot be taken lightly because most cases of drug abuse it is found in young people, the next generation of the nation. Hijrah Door Foundation is one of the social rehabilitation places in Banda Aceh with using Islamic therapy. Clients who were rehabilitated there came from various Districts/Cities in Aceh and now it has returned to families and communities. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the rehabilitation of drug dependent clients at the Pintu Hijrah Banda Foundation aceh. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Data obtained by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research are the implementation of these 12 steps carried out for 6 months has been effective because of the programs provided during rehabilitation, the targets were set, the satisfaction was high given to make the client live a normal life and be accepted back inside society and no longer tempted to consume drugs. It also makes The Pintu Hijrah Foundation is a recommendation for drug rehabilitation in Aceh.

Abstract

Bibliometric analysis is mapping research trends using metadata processing from Google Scholar. The aim is to find out research trends about learning agility. The research was carried out by searching the Google Scholar database with the keywords learning agility and the maximum number of results was 1000 journals as a sample. Retrieval of metadata using the Publish or Perish application version 8.94. The data from Publish or Perish is then analyzed descriptively based on the year the publication was published, publisher name, researcher productivity, and journal ranking. To obtain an accurate map of research progress, Publish or Perish data is exported to Exel CSV and Result as RIS file formats. CSV data was made into a pivot table and RIS data was analyzed using the VOSviewer application. The research results show that the number of research publications in 2000-2023 has fluctuated and most were published in Emerald. The most productive foreign researcher in publishing research results is Kenneth P. De Meuse with 12 articles. Through VOSviewer visualization, it shows that the learning agility research development map is divided into 5 clusters. Cluster 1 consists of 20 items, cluster 2 consists of 15 items, cluster 3 consists of 14 items, cluster 4 consists of 9 items and cluster 5 consists of 8 items with the most research covering effect, strategic agility, concept, skill and work.
