Abstract

International tax harmonization is a global initiative aimed at addressing the challenges and inequities in the current transnational taxation system. With the growth of the global economy and the expansion of multinational corporations, the practice of tax evasion and profit displacement has become a significant problem that reduces national tax revenues and creates inequality among taxpayers. These initiatives include the proposal and implementation of international taxation standards aimed at bridging gaps in domestic and international tax rules used by multinationals to reduce their tax liabilities. Targets for international tax harmonization include the development of common basic rules for the application of corporate profit tax, improved transparency and exchange of information between tax jurisdictions, as well as the introduction of a global minimum corporate tax standard to address the practice of transferring profits to low-tax jurisdiction. While the concept faces challenges such as the need for international consensus and objections from countries that rely on tax revenues as strategic investment incentives, the move is expected to foster a fairer and more efficient tax policy as well as inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Writing well-formed sentences requires a strong grasp of grammar and vocabulary, which can be especially challenging for students when the target language differs significantly from their native language. When learning how words connect to form larger grammatical units, students often become confused about parts of speech, leading to errors. This study aimed to describe the syntactical errors found in 15 argumentative essays by fourth-semester English majors and identify the error sources through a descriptive qualitative method. The analysis revealed 47 syntactical errors across 5 categories: noun phrases with determiners (26 instances), conjunctions (6), numbers (5), auxiliary verbs (6), and prepositions (4). Both interlingual (native language influence) and intralingual (target language itself) factors contributed to these errors. Ultimately, this research hopes to raise awareness among students about producing grammatically correct written English.

Pulmonary Tuberculosis is the highest cause of death due to tuberculosis bacterial infection. Objective: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Peppermint Aromatherapy Inhalation on nursing care for ineffective airway clearance in Pulmonary Tuberculosis patients at Drajat Prawiranegara Hospital. Methods: The research method used is qualitative research with a research design that is a case study through a Nursing Care Approach which includes nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, nursing implementation, and nursing evaluation. The subjects of this study were two patients with pulmonary tuberculosis who experienced the problem of ineffective airway clearance at RSUD Dokter Drajat Prawiranegara, Serang City, Banten, Indonesia. Results: The application of peppermint aromatherapy inhalation which was carried out three times a day for three consecutive days was found that the patient could expel phlegm and decreased respiratory frequency. Conclusion: The results of this study found that the application of peppermint aromatherapy inhalation can reduce the problem of airway clearance ineffectiveness which includes coughing up phlegm and shortness of breath in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis.

Abstract

This research is based on the need to select the best appropriate employees so that they can maximize employee performance potential. Meanwhile, the process of determining the best employees currently at the "IBUNDA" Maternity Hospital in Serang City is still less than optimal. Based on these problems, a solution was created for a decision support system application to help management assess the overall determination of employees at the "IBUNDA" Nursing Hospital in Serang City easily and quickly. The MOORA (Multi Objective Optimization On The Basis Of Ratio Analysis) method is a decision making method applied to solve problems with complex mathematical calculations. The results of this research are first, in analyzing determining the best employees at the "IBUNDA" public hospital in Serang City, namely by carrying out calculations based on existing criteria so that you can carry out calculations using the MOORA method and get the best results. Second, implementing a decision support system application using the Moora method for selecting the best employees, so that the calculation process can be carried out using this method, and third, in implementing a decision support system application using the MOORA method, implementing the algorithm of this method into the system that will be built to determine employees the best at the "IBUNDA" General Hospital in Serang City.

Abstract

In the last decade, the penetration of new media into everyday life, particularly through the use of the internet and social media, has played an important role in shaping contemporary patterns of political communication. This research aims to examine how new media has changed the landscape of political communication and its impact on public participation in the democratic process. Through literature analysis, this study explores various aspects of the changes brought about by new media, including greater accessibility to political information, personalization of political messages, as well as the challenges of echo chambers and polarization that result. The research method used in this study is literature review. The results of this study show that new media have provided new opportunities and challenges in political communication. On the one hand, new media allow politicians to reach out and interact with voters directly and more personally, and promote wider public participation in the political process. On the other hand, phenomena such as echo chambers and online polarization raise concerns about the quality of democratic discussion and the ability of voters to make well- informed decisions. This research emphasizes that while new media provides great opportunities for democracy, there is an urgent need for effective mitigation strategies so that its negative impacts can be minimized.

Abstract

In an effort to increase the potential of eco tourism through the use of digital technology, this community service program is implemented with the main aim of training eco tourism actors in creating and managing blogs, as well as using social media for tourism promotion. This training is designed to address the lack of digital skills among eco tourism practitioners and improve their skills in creating attractive and effective digital content for online promotions. The method used in this training includes a series of theoretical and practical workshops that focus on the basics of blogging, search engine optimization (SEO), and social media marketing strategies. The results of this training show a significant increase in participants' knowledge and skills in creating blogs and utilizing social media, which is reflected in the increase in the quality of their content and online activities. This study recommends further development of the training curriculum with the integration of advanced techniques and more varied case studies, as well as increased ongoing support for trainees in applying new knowledge and skills in the real context of the ecotourism business.

Abstract

The right to work, the right to fair wages, the right to associate and assemble, the right to security and health protection, the right to legal proceedings, the right to equal treatment, the right to personal secrets, and the right to freedom of conscience are just a few of the rights of workers that generally need to be upheld. Among the rights of entrepreneurs are the following: creating work rules and agreements; terminating employees; closing the business; forming and joining a corporate organization; and assigning a portion of the work to another business. In the area of employment, legal enforcement, guidance, and supervision can all be used to achieve the protection of workers' rights. According to justice, laborers have an equal and free status. In actuality, though, employers' and employees' positions are frequently uneven. There are still a number of troubling barriers present, such as: regulatory issues; cultural issues affecting employees, employers/entrepreneurs, and law enforcement; The employer and the employee are not equal in practice, despite their equality in theory; this includes the employer's ability to uphold workers' rights. This study does an exploratory review of the literature using a qualitative descriptive methodology. This research discusses labor protection theory, workers' rights and obligations, labor protection policies, shortcomings and obstacles in policy implementation.
