Abstract

The idealism of teachers as professional educators in the era of globalization 4.0 is the focus of this research. Rapid changes in technology and global connectivity give rise to new challenges in the field of education. This research aims to explore an in-depth understanding of how teacher idealism can form a strong foundation in facing changes in this era. Through a descriptive qualitative research method using a literature review, this research explores educational values relevant to the context of globalization 4.0, identifies required technology skills, and explores teacher involvement in professional development. The results of the discussion show that understanding educational values, developing technological skills, and involvement in professional development activities are the main dimensions of teacher idealism. Teachers who understand these values can create inclusive and adaptive learning environments. Abstract

Women's leadership is still a pro and a con in the public sphere. Even though they have become leaders, women's ability to lead is still underestimated. In relation to school culture, principals who are successful in advancing the school are seen from their ability to develop a conducive organizational culture. A conducive organizational culture influences student achievement. So, it can lead to achieving the school's vision, mission and goals. The inhibiting factors that influence the leadership of female school principals are: 1) the domestic role of women, 2) gender stereotypes, 3) physical barriers, and 4) patriarchal culture, which are cultural factors that are deeply rooted and ingrained in the culture of our society. In society, culture still considers that domestic affairs are women's territory. So even though women work outside and are principals, women still have to carry out their responsibilities in the household, such as cooking, washing and as mothers and wives. This is what ultimately makes women who work end up having multiple roles that are heavier than men's responsibilities.

Abstract

Education is the most important element for the advancement of a nation's civilization. The industrial era and globalization have had an impact on educational processes, in Indonesia. On the one hand, globalization has the positive impact of facilitating access to information, but on the other hand, the dominance of technology has the negative impact of dehumanizing a mentality that places technology above everything else. In fact, education in the modern era of globalization is experiencing a value crisis. Education only produces cognitively intelligent outputs, mastering theory and technology but lacking in human and social values. (dehumanisasi). As a solution, education as an investment must be capable of “humanizing man”; integrating man and techno or integrating science and religion, as well as re-paradigmatizing education with a value approach, a sociocultural approach, an approach to cognitive skills, and a policy approach, which is of course necessary to the goal of national education to form a professional education. A generation of moral, responsible, and dignified.

Abstract

Morality is an asset in the process of self-development. Morality has become a universal problem, both in advanced and traditional societies, because damage to morality in one person will disturb the peace of others. If there are so many morally corrupt people in society, it could be that society will be shocked. Moral education in children can change their behavior, so that when they grow up, they will become responsible adults who have respect for others and are able to face the challenges of a rapidly changing world. Increasing moral considerations in children designed through school education can improve the formation of children's personalities. By forming moral considerations, children will behave in accordance with their moral way of thinking. The three elements proposed by Durkheim to become a moral person are discipline, group attachment, and autonomy. Every individual should have these three elements to become a moral person. And moral actions are essentially the main focus in the world of morality which forms a personality that is responsible, disciplined, and becomes a good person in society, avoiding bad behavior and acting in accordance with the given moral thoughts.
