Abstract

Early childhood education (PAUD) is an important foundation in developing 21st century skills. STEAM-based learning innovations (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) can be one of the solutions to develop 21st century skills in early childhood education children. This study aims to find out how learning innovations in STEAM-based early childhood education can develop 21st century skills in early childhood children. The results show that the STEAM approach can help children develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The implementation of the STEAM approach in PAUD can also improve children's ability to work together and communicate. However, the implementation of the STEAM approach in early childhood education also has several challenges, such as a lack of adequate resources and facilities to support STEAM learning. Therefore, efforts need to be made to improve the implementation of the STEAM approach in early childhood education in order to help children develop the 21st century skills needed to succeed in the future. Thus, this research can contribute to the development of more effective and innovative early childhood education.

Abstract

Public-private partnerships (PPPs) play a crucial role in supporting education digitalisation initiatives in developing countries. By combining the private sector's financial and technical resources with government efforts, these partnerships help provide vital technological infrastructure to schools in less developed areas. In addition, PPP initiatives also focus on strengthening the transfer of knowledge and skills through training and curriculum development relevant to the needs of the job market. This collaboration also encourages innovation, which enables the development and implementation of sustainable digital solutions to improve access to and quality of education. Overall, public-private partnerships are key to creating an education system that is inclusive and responsive to global changes in developing countries.

Abstract

School nurses play a crucial role in the management of School Health Units (UKS) in boarding schools, which aim to ensure the overall health and well-being of students. This study evaluates the effectiveness of school nurses in UKS management through the various tasks they perform, such as routine health checks, health education, and mental health support. The results showed that nurses were able to detect health problems early, provide education that increased students' awareness of the importance of maintaining good health, and provide mental support that encouraged stress management. The contribution of nurses in creating a healthy and supportive school environment is essential to ensure that students can learn and develop optimally. This conclusion emphasises the importance of the role of nurses in boarding school UKS and suggests increased institutional support to strengthen their function.

Abstract

Distance learning (DL) in higher education has undergone significant development, especially during emergency situations such as pandemics. This abstract discusses a literature review of the implementation, benefits, and challenges of DL in the context of higher education. The main findings show that DL offers flexibility in time and place of learning, as well as improving students' digital skills. However, challenges in the form of technology access gaps and decreased social interaction are obstacles that must be overcome. In conclusion, although DL presents several obstacles, with proper management and adequate infrastructure support, it has the potential to become an important element in providing effective and inclusive education in the future.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the blended learning model in developing countries through a literature review. Blended learning, which combines face-to-face and online learning, is believed to have the potential to improve the quality of education. Studies show that this model can increase learning motivation, provide a variety of learning resources, and enable more active interaction between students and teachers. However, the implementation of blended learning in developing countries faces significant obstacles, including problems with technological infrastructure, limited internet access, and technological readiness among both students and teachers. This study emphasises the need for multidisciplinary collaboration in terms of improving technological infrastructure, training in technological skills, and providing adequate educational resources so that the implementation of blended learning can be more effective. The results of this study are expected to provide insights for policy makers and educators in implementing and optimising the blended learning model in developing countries.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed the education sector, particularly in the Society 5.0 era, which emphasizes human-centered innovation through advanced digital integration. Digital-based learning has emerged as a crucial innovation, enhancing educational accessibility, flexibility, and efficiency. This study examines the transformation of digital-based learning, highlighting both its innovations and challenges. Using a mixed-method research approach, quantitative data from educational institutions and surveys are analyzed to assess improvements in learning outcomes, while qualitative insights from interviews with educators and students provide a deeper understanding of opportunities and obstacles in digital learning implementation. The findings indicate that digital-based learning has expanded access to quality education through e-learning platforms, artificial intelligence-driven personalized learning, and virtual reality-enhanced interactive experiences. Additionally, it has facilitated adaptive learning, enabling students to progress at their own pace and fostering collaborative learning environments through digital communication tools. However, challenges such as digital divide, technological disparities, cybersecurity risks, and resistance to change remain significant barriers. Addressing these challenges requires collaborative efforts from governments, educational institutions, and technology providers to establish policies and infrastructures that ensure inclusive and sustainable digital education. In conclusion, digital-based learning serves as a transformative force in modern education, offering innovative solutions to enhance learning experiences. Nevertheless, achieving its full potential necessitates addressing existing challenges through equitable access to technology, teacher training, and robust digital policies.
