Abstract

Education is a fundamental pillar in the formation of digital intelligence, a crucial aspect in today's era of rapid technological transformation. When curriculum and teaching methods are integrated with information and communication technologies, students are equipped with the tools and knowledge to adapt, compete and innovate in an increasingly complex and connected society. This study uses the literature research method. The results show that the use of technology in education, in general, has a positive influence on increasing students' learning motivation, concept understanding, and problem-solving skills. Technology integration facilitates more interactive and personalized learning methods, encouraging deeper student engagement in the subject matter. However, the study also revealed that the success of technology integration is highly dependent on device accessibility and connectivity, teacher training and adequate infrastructure support. Inequality of access is one of the main barriers, necessitating specific intervention strategies to bridge the digital divide.

Abstract

School management automation through Management Information Systems (MIS) is the application of technology to automate, integrate and optimise administrative and academic processes within the school environment. The research method used in this study was literature research. The results show that cost challenges are often the biggest barrier, with budget restrictions making it difficult for some educational institutions to support the initial investment and ongoing operational costs of SIM. Solutions include finding alternative funding models, partnering with technology companies, and adopting cloud-based solutions to reduce infrastructure costs. Regarding user resistance, it was found that effective training programmes and awareness campaigns on the benefits of SIM can minimise the discomfort of adapting to new technology. Finally, in the area of data security, the findings emphasise the importance of security audits, user training, and compliance with data protection regulations to maintain the integrity and privacy of institutional data. This research demonstrates that although challenges exist, with the right strategies, SIM implementation can optimise school management functions and enrich the learning process.

Abstract

The use of social media today has changed the nature of English language learning. One such social media platform is TikTok. This study aims to investigate the role of TikTok in enhancing English language skills using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) framework. 22 studies published from 2020 to 2025 derived from ScienceDirect (1), ResearchGate (7), and Mendeley (14) are inspected to find out how TikTok influences undergraduate students’ speaking, listening, vocabulary acquisition, and pronunciation. The results indicate that TikTok is an effective tool that enhances English language learning and the students’ language skills through its interactive features like duet challenges and short videos. Additionally, TikTok increases student engagement by blending entertainment with education. However, challenges such as distractions, informal language exposure, and the need for guidance highlight the necessity of supervision by teachers. In conclusion, TikTok serves as an engaging and effective tool for enhancing English language skills particularly in speaking, listening, and vocabulary acquisition among undergraduate students.
