Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of parenting styles on the emotional development of early childhood. The main focus of the research is to understand how various types of parenting styles, both democratic and authoritarian, influence children's personality and social behavior. The research method used is a literature review, where data is collected from various literature, scientific articles, and other relevant sources that discuss the relationship between parenting styles and child development. The analysis technique applied is qualitative analysis, which allows researchers to evaluate and interpret data in depth. The research results show that children raised in a democratic parenting style tend to have higher self-confidence, good social interaction skills, and a positive attitude, while children raised in an authoritarian parenting style tend to be more passive, less confident, and have difficulty adapting to social environments. These findings emphasize the importance of creating a positive and supportive family environment for optimal emotional development in children.

Abstract

The formation of entrepreneurial character is one of the important focuses in vocational education to prepare students to face the world of work and become independent entrepreneurs. SMKN 1 Gowa as one of the vocational schools in Gowa Regency has implemented various learning strategies to foster entrepreneurial character in students. This study aims to describe and analyze the strategies for forming entrepreneurial character applied at SMKN 1 Gowa. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the strategies applied include project-based learning, direct practice in student business units, and integration of entrepreneurial values in learning activities. This strategy has been proven to be able to foster an independent, creative, responsible, and confident attitude in students. This study recommends that schools continue to strengthen hands-on experience-based entrepreneurial learning practices and increase collaboration with external parties to enrich students' learning experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of social studies learning based on the natural environment around the school as a learning resource at MTsN Padang Panjang. The background of this study is the lack of interest and enthusiasm for learning social studies of students which is triggered by various factors, one of which is the underutilization of the environment around the school as a learning resource. The research method is a qualitative approach, data collection tools through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of social studies learning based on the natural environment around the school is carried out through 3 stages. Preliminary Activities: Educators make preparations that begin with an opening greeting, checking attendance, apperception, providing motivation, providing references and dividing students into several groups, Core Activities: Educators explain a little related material, students make direct observations in the field, presentations of findings and projects, and Closing Activities Reflecting and evaluating learning and closing learning with praying together and a message to always protect the environment

Abstract

Participatory leadership is a strategic approach to development that actively involves the community at every stage, from planning to evaluation. In rural contexts, religious and community leaders play a central role in driving social and economic change based on local and spiritual values. This study aims to examine the role of participatory leadership through local leaders and the Al-Ittifaq Islamic Boarding School in supporting sustainable development in Alamendah Village, Rancabali Subdistrict, Bandung Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, with community leaders as the primary informants. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study indicate that participatory leadership in Alamendah Village is capable of forming a cohesive social structure, strengthening the local agro-industry-based economy, and preserving culture and religious values. These findings confirm that local strength is the main foundation of sustainable village development and contributes to the development of a community-based development model that is contextual and aligned with spiritual values.

Abstract

Inclusive education is an approach that aims to ensure access and equity in education for all children, including children with special needs (ABK). However, its implementation at the school level still faces various challenges. This study aims to analyze the role of inclusive education in the empowerment of ABK in Makassar City. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation in several inclusion schools. The results of the study show that inclusive education encourages independence, social participation, and to a limited extent supports the academic potential of ABK. Supporting factors include school commitment, parental support, and cross-sector cooperation. The main obstacles are the limited number of accompanying teachers, lack of training, and social stigma. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that inclusive education has the potential as a tool for empowering ABK, but it still requires systemic strengthening and school culture transformation.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan media Canva dalam penugasan mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) kelas VIII di SMP Pesantren Nurul Falah Dampit dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi serta menggunakan triangulasi teknis untuk mendapatkan keabsahan data. Perkembangan teknologi digital telah memberikan dampak signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk dalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran visual yang interaktif seperti Canva. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Canva mampu meningkatkan kreativitas siswa, memperbaiki hasil belajar, dan memperkaya variasi tugas yang diberikan guru. Media ini mendorong siswa untuk mengekspresikan pemahaman materi secara visual yang menarik dan informatif. Secara keseluruhan, Canva terbukti efektif dalam menunjang pembelajaran IPS yang interaktif, dinamis, dan berorientasi pada pengembangan kompetensi siswa secara menyeluruh di lingkungan pendidikan berbasis pesantren.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the implementation of differentiated instruction and to describe the level of student understanding in the Social Studies subject for Class 7D at SMP Negeri 17 Kota Malang. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires administered to teachers and students. The findings indicate that differentiated instruction has been initiated in Class 7D through three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the planning stage, the teacher conducted initial diagnostic assessments. During implementation, various teaching methods were applied, such as group discussions, educational videos, and observation activities. However, the personalization of content and assignments had not been fully realized. Evaluation was carried out through formative and summative assessments, accompanied by feedback to students. The level of student understanding in Social Studies was found to be fairly good. Students were able to comprehend basic concepts, apply the material to real-life contexts, analyze social phenomena, and demonstrate understanding through learning styles that matched their individual profiles. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui materi pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran buku teks di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskripsi. Penelitian ini dilakukanmelalui buku teks sosiologi . Buku teks yang digunakan oleh guru mata pelajaran sosiologi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis isi, dimana peneliti membaca, dan mengembangkan buku teks Sosiologi. Mengacu pada Kurikulum merdeka mengenai tujuan pendidikan yang dibagi menjadi tiga domain, yaitu kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Buku Sosiologi menggunakan lebih banyak konten kognitif (pengetahuan), afektif (sikap) psikomotorik (keterampilan) dari penerbit sosiologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa     Pelaksanaan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam aspek konten menunjukan adanya klasifikasi konten pembelajaran berdasarkan karakteristik dari materi dan penyajian konten yang mengakomodasi seluruh gaya belajar peserta didik, selanjutnya pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran  berdiferensiasi dalam aspek proses, dilakukannya langkahlangkah pembelajaran yang sesuai menurut modul ajar penggunaan model               pembelajaran yang diterapkan dengan memberikan diferensiasi proses dari segi assesme formatif dan sumatif didalam pelaksanaannya, kemudian pada pelaksanaan  pembelajaran berdiferensiasi produk dilakukannya    pengumpulan dan penilaian produk yang telah dibuat oleh peserta didik dengan memiliki rubrik penilaian untuk acuan dalam menilai produk yang disajikan ataupun dikumpukan. Abstract

Studi ini menyelidiki presentasi komparatif materi ekspor dan impor dalam buku teks Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) kelas enam di bawah Kurikulum Berbasis Sekolah (KTSP) 2006 dan Kurikulum Independen 2022 (Kurikulum Merdeka). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan fokus pada analisis konten dari dua buku teks yang dikeluarkan pemerintah untuk mengeksplorasi perbedaan dalam struktur, kedalaman, pendekatan pedagogis, dan representasi visual. Temuan mengungkapkan bahwa buku teks KTSP menyampaikan konten secara terkotak-kotak dan terstruktur, menekankan penguasaan konseptual melalui peta eksplisit dan pemisahan tematik aspek sosial dan ekonomi. Sebaliknya, Kurikulum Independen mengadopsi pendekatan terpadu, naratif, dan berbasis proyek melalui buku teks IPAS, menggabungkan sains dan studi sosial untuk menumbuhkan pemahaman kontekstual dan pemikiran kritis. Namun, kurangnya peta konsep dan fokus ekonomi eksplisit dalam buku IPAS menimbulkan tantangan pedagogis. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa desain kurikulum secara signifikan memengaruhi pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep ekonomi global dan menyoroti perlunya buku teks yang selaras dengan filosofi kurikulum, menawarkan contoh-contoh yang relevan, dan mendukung keterampilan abad ke-21. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada wacana pengembangan kurikulum dengan menekankan pentingnya desain buku teks yang kontekstual dan terintegrasi dalam meningkatkan literasi ekonomi di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the extent to which family and peers can shape social behavior and individual identity. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research, involving a review of readings relevant to the topic under discussion. Data were collected from sources such as books, scientific journals found on Google Scholar, and other digital libraries. The following conclusion can be drawn based on the explanation provided: peers and family are the main determinants in the formation of individual identity. Peers are social groups consisting of people who are similar to each other in terms of age, education, or social status, whereas family is the primary institution responsible for raising individuals, incorporating all social norms and ethics. It is hoped that this research will be used as a guide in formulating inclusive and socio-culturally aware educational policies.
