Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) plays a crucial role in preparing the young generation to face global challenges in the digital era. This article explores effective science learning strategies in PAUD in the context of digital technology through a literature review from an assortment of sources; both books and scientific journals. Integrating interactive learning applications, videos and animations through an experience-based approach and collaborative projects, children are invited to comprehend science concepts in an excitement and in-depth way. Challenges such as limited access to technology, understanding abstract scientific concepts and the important role of digital literacy are discussed as part of efforts to prepare early childhood education to face an increasingly connected and multifarious world. Collaboration between educators, students and parents is identified as the main key in creating a learning environment that is empowering and relevant for children's futures. It is hoped that with this holistic approach, PAUD can effectively assist children construct a strong foundation in scientific and technological literacy, as well as the skills required to succeed in the digital era.

Abstract

The speech act is a linguistic phenomenon that occurs in society, one of which is the Ngaju Dayak community. The Dayak Ngaju people are one of the Dayak tribes in Central Kalimantan. This study aimed to describe: 1) directive speech acts’ types in Dayak Ngaju language in Pulang Pisau district, 2) the functions of directive speech acts in Dayak Ngaju language in Pulang Pisau district, 3) factors which is caused directive speech acts in Dayak Ngaju language in Pulang Pisau Regency. Descriptive qualitative research was adopted to use in this study. In selecting the sample, the researchers used purposive sampling so that the data obtained is more representative. The researcher used observation, interviews, and taking notes to collect the data. The results state that: 1) Directive speech acts types of the Dayak Ngaju language in Parahangan village, Pulang Pisau Regency, belong to direct and indirect directive speech acts, 2) directive speech acts’ functions in the Dayak Ngaju language in Parahangan village, Pulang Pisau Regency, consist of six functions, namely directive speech acts of commands, orders, requests, prohibitions, invitations and giving suggestions, 3) several aspects influence a speech act namely: (1) the speaker/partner, (2) the purpose of the speech, (3) and social distance.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of students' sense of community and self-efficacy on their higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). The samples were students from class X MIPA 1 and X MIPA 2, totaling 66 science students at SMAN 1 Terbanggi Besar. The research design used was a post-test only design. Based on research using a single linear regression test, there was no effect of sense of communityon HOTS, with a correlation value of 0.184 and a coefficient of determination of 0.034, indicating that sense of communitycontributed only 3.4% to HOTS. Similarly, there was no effect of self-efficacy on HOTS, with a correlation value of 0.148 and a coefficient of determination of 0.022, indicating that self-efficacy contributed only 2.2% to HOTS. A multiple regression test also showed no effect of sense of communityand self-efficacy on HOTS, with a correlation value of 0.173 and a coefficient of determination of 0.030, indicating that sense of communityand self-efficacy together contributed only 3.0% to HOTS. It can be concluded that there is no significant effect of sense of community and self-efficacy on HOTS when using WhatsApp-assisted blended learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and explain the influence of learning motivation and family environment on student independence, mediated by student discipline. This research is quantitative in nature. The population of the study consists of all elementary school students at SPK Surabaya for the 2023/2024 academic year. The sampling technique used is census sampling (saturated sampling), where the entire population is used as the research sample, totaling 121 individuals. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires. The data analysis method employed in this study is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis, specifically using the SEM-PLS analysis technique. The results indicate that learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on independence with a path coefficient of 0.245 and a P-value of 0.005. The family environment has a positive and significant effect on independence with a path coefficient of 0.194 and a P-value of 0.026. Learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on discipline with a path coefficient of 0.504 and a P-value of 0.000. The family environment has a positive and significant effect on discipline with a path coefficient of 0.203 and a P-value of 0.014. Discipline has a positive and significant effect on independence with a path coefficient of 0.502 and a P-value of 0.000. Discipline mediates the relationship between learning motivation and independence with a VAF value of 0.508. Discipline also mediates the relationship between family environment and independence with a VAF value of 0.344.

Abstract

The Manasai dance (Tasai) lives and develops from time to time in Central Kalimantan. The long journey has made the Manasai dance undergo many changes in its function, but the value contained in it is still maintained. Although the Dayak tribe is an open person with diversity, it turns out that conflicts that raise ethnic and religious issues remain a challenge that must be faced. This research was conducted by Talcott Parsons' structural functionalism theory, which consists of two concepts, namely generic and imperative concepts, to try to analyze how the existence of Manasai dance can help create the face of religious moderation in the people of Central Kalimantan. The method used in this study is a literature review and documentation study . The results of this study show that if the Manasai dance is maintained based on the generic and imperative concept according to Talcott Parsons' functional structural theory, then automatically, the existence of this dance can always be maintained. Through the role of each religious leader, traditional dance artist, and the wider community who use Manasai dance in various functions, the positive value of Manasai dance will gradually be embedded in people's behavior. This people's behavior finally makes integration will be created. The integration created makes the Manasai dance (Tasai) the face of religious moderation of the people of Central Kalimantan.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah merupakan kemampuan dan kewenangan untuk mempengaruhi, menggerakkan dan mengarahkan tindakan serta mendorong kemajuan dan semangat yang kuat untuk memotivasi semua warga sekolah. Peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah menjadi fokus utama dalam mengembangkan profesionalisme guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam menumbuhkan profesionalisme guru di TK Negeri Pembina Kabupaten Sebangau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dan proses pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah TK Negeri Pembina Kabupaten Sebangau telah menjalankan perannya secara efektif dalam mengembangkan profesionalisme guru. Hal ini terlihat dari perannya dalam melaksanakan fungsi kepemimpinan, prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan dan peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Selain itu kepala sekolah juga terus berupaya untuk mendorong dan memotivasi melibatkan guru atau tenaga kependidikan di TK Negeri Pembina Kabupaten Sebangau untuk terus belajar, berlatih dan berkembang dengan memanfaatkan berbagai program kegiatan pembelajaran guru seperti program latihan guru belajar mandiri, seminar, webinar dan kegiatan lainnya. yang berkontribusi pada pengembangan profesional guru pendidikan anak usia dini.

Abstract

The increase in the number of early childhood education units must be balanced with good governance to realize a golden generation of Indonesia. With good governance to realize the golden generation of Indonesia that fulfills the constitution. Early childhood education now requires new steps and paradigms, including aspects of planning and management. The purpose of this research is to analyze the planning stages of PAUD institution management in TKN Pembina Kec. Sebangau, which supports the development of quality national education. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with this type of research is phenomenology with data collection techniques Observation, Interview and Documentation. Based on the results of research conducted at TKN Pembina Kec. Sebangau, it shows that the management planning strategy of PAUD institutions is carried out referring to the direction of PAUD management planning. Strategic planning of early childhood education management can be done for example through identification of needs and problems, environmental studies, determination of vision and mission, preparation of programs, and preparation of documents and plans.

Abstract

Pedagogic competence is an important skill for teachers, but it is also important for students who will become teachers when carrying out school field introduction (PLP 2). This research is in the background of the lack of readiness to teach students in the implementation of School Field Introduction activities. This research aims to improve students' understanding of PLP 2 and the pedagogic competence of prospective teacher students in the economic education study program of PGRI Mahadewa University Indonesia. This type of research is qualitative research with which was carried out at the beginning of the August - November 2023 research. The method used in this study is lesson study. Lesson study is carried out through the implementation of Plan, Do and See. The research instruments are in the form of observation sheets and assessment sheets. The subjects of the study were 5 students who had completed PLP for five months at SMA PGRI 4 Denpasar. The data collection techniques are interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the study showed that students experienced an increase in PLP 2 competencies and pedagogical competencies

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe the relationship between school principals' managerial skills and principals' leadership with the performance of primary school teachers in the Palangka Raya city. The research method used is a quantitative method with a correlational design. The population includes all primary school teachers in the Palangka Raya city, totaling 2034 people. The research sample was 291 taken using probability random sampling and using the Slovin formula. The data collection technique for school principals' managerial skills was carried out by distributing a questionnaire consisting of 18 questions. The principal's leadership data collection technique was carried out by distributing a questionnaire consisting of 22 questions. Meanwhile, teacher performance data was collected by recording documents and documents of each teacher's performance scores. The data analysis technique used is product moment correlation which consists of: (a) partial (simple) correlation technique and (b) simultaneous (multiple) correlation technique. Research results: (1) the principal's managerial skills have a positive and significant relationship with teacher performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.541; (2) principal leadership has a positive and significant relationship with teacher performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.587; and (3) the principal's managerial skills and the principal's leadership together have a positive and significant relationship with the teacher performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.654.

Abstract

Parallel investigation is an investigation method carried out simultaneously by various law enforcement agencies in handling money laundering (TPPU) cases originating from forestry and environmental crimes. This study examines the effectiveness of implementing parallel investigations in this context, with the aim of identifying the advantages, challenges and impact of implementing this method on case handling. Overall, parallel investigation has proven to be an effective approach in handling TPPU cases originating from forestry and environmental crimes. This method is able to accelerate the investigation process, increase the accuracy of law enforcement, and support more comprehensive crime suppression, although it requires improvements in coordination and regulatory aspects.
