Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that uses critical thinking skills in logical reasoning. This research was conducted on grade II students of SDN 1 Sukaraja, control class 24 students and experimental class 27 students. This research and development (R&D) study adopted the 4D model and reached only the third stage (define, design, develop). The product that was developed is a student worksheet that is based on the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The goal is to train students' critical thinking skills. The developed student worksheet based on PBL model is proven to be "Very Valid" based on validator's evaluation and "Very Practical" based on practicality evaluation results, so it can be used as teaching material to support learning process to train students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether or not student learning outcomes have improved in mathematics subjects such as FPB and KPK material by implementing differentiated learning in the jigsaw learning model. Where the subject under study obtained learning outcomes that were less than or below the school's criteria for achieving learning objectives, therefore classroom action research was carried out using the jigsaw model. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The implementation stage of classroom action research (CAR) includes activities: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The instrument used in data collection is a formative test which is carried out after the learning process which applies the jigsaw model. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis (average and percentage). Meanwhile, the criteria for learning completeness are based on a score that exceeds the school's criteria for achieving learning objectives. This research was carried out in three cycles with improvements or changes in each cycle. In cycle I, 52.17% of students completed learning using the jigsaw model, in cycle II, 73.91% of students completed learning using jigsaw model, and in cycle III, 91.30% of students completed learning. which was completed after following the lesson using the jigsaw model. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that the application of differentiated learning in the jigsaw learning model can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects in class V SD Plus IGM Palembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan instrumen penilaian hasil belajar berbentuk soal objektif berorientasi HOTS berupa soal pilihan ganda yang dapat digunakan pada tema 7 subtema indahnya keragaman budaya negeriku di kelas IV yang telah diuji kevalidannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model pengembangan modifikasi 3D Define (pendefinisian, Design (perancangan) dan Develop (pengembangan). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan lembar validasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan validitas logis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis validitas logis dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian menunjukkan soal HOTS sebanyak 50 soal yang dinyatakan sangat valid dengan persentase 96,3%. Sehingga soal dapat digunakan untuk melihat tingkat pemahaman dan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The development of globalization has led to various ease of access in human life. These changes must be balanced with the readiness of human resource capabilities in dealing with them. Education is one way to equip Human Resources to face the times. To achieve these goals, education must be carried out with the right plans and designs through the learning process. This research seeks to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Role Playing learning model in class IV SD Negeri 69 Prabumulih in Civics subjects. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research by carrying out learning through 3 cycles. In carrying out the learning process with the Classroom Action Research method, each cycle is evaluated and revised to find out the improvement of the learning process by applying the Role Playing model. The results obtained in this study are that it can be seen that in cycle 0 the behavior of student learning outcomes only reached 37% then in cycle 1 it increased to 63% and finally in cycle 2 it increased to 87%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that cause a child not to be able to add up basic addition operations which include the results of adding tens, hundreds and thousands in elementary school (SD) but not yet able to answer basic additions. So, the abacus media was chosen to help the process of understanding the basic operations of addition. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The research subject was a female student in class 3A at SD Negeri 002 Palembang for the 2022/2023 academic year with the initials ANA. The abacus used in this research is an ordinary type of abacus whose bead value is a multiple of 10. Each row of beads has 10 beads up to the 10th row with a total of 100 beads. The results of the research show that the abacus is closely related to developing numeracy skills, supported by the knowledge of a child or student who already knows place value in initial counting, especially addition operation material.

Abstract

Mahasiswa PGSD perlu dipersiapkan untuk lebih memantapkan profesi guru tentu saja harus didukung oleh ilmu, teori atau pengetahuan-pengetahuan ilmiah yang teruji. Dengan demikian akan semakin memperkuat keyakinan pihak-pihak yang terkait dengan profesi guru tersebut. Salah satu metode ilmiah untuk menguji kebenaran pengetahuan, teori atau konsep-konsep dalam keguruan khususnya berkenaan dengan pembelajaran adalah melalui percobaan (eksperimen), diharapkan dapat mampu melaksanakan pembelajaran di SD dan menerapkan juga pembelajaran model Project Based Learning untuk siswa SD yang berkaitan keterampilan mengajar ataupun konsep didaktiknya. Salah satu faktor yang menentukan keberhasilan pembelajaran adalah keterlibatan mahasiswa secara mental dalam proses pembelajaran melalui kesempatan untuk mengalami kondisi atau situasi tertentu sebagaimana yang terjadi dalam kenyataan (experiental learning). Keterlibatan ini akan menjadikan proses belajar menjadi menarik dan relevan bagi mahasiswa.

Abstract

In the world of education, educators are not only required to convey knowledge, but also to instill character education so that they can form superior individuals in future social life. To support this, the government is promoting early childhood character education so that the nation's future children can become good individuals without breaking the law and taking Indonesia in a better direction in the future. This research aims to determine the content of character values in elementary school students' books based on the Pancasila Student Profile of the independent curriculum. This type of research is literature study, namely a series of activities related to library data collection methods through reading, recording and managing research materials. The data source that the researchers used was the Pancasila Education book for grade IV elementary school. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, researchers can find the character values of Pancasila student profiles in elementary school students' books that have been analyzed, including Religious, Honest, Tolerant, Discipline, Hard Work, Creative, Independent, Democratic, Curiosity, Nationalism, Love of the homeland, Respect for achievements, Communicative, Love of peace, Love of reading, Care for the environment, Social care, and Responsibility. Thus, the researcher can conclude that all character values based on the Pancasila Student Profile appear to be dominated by the character values Love, Peace and Discipline which were discussed in semester 1.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that most students in Grade V of SD Negeri Gugus Mawar Kecamatan Natar, did not achieve the KKM in the Odd Semester Final Assessment T.A 2022/2023 in Mathematics. This study aims to analyse and describe the effect of interest in learning and self-efficacy on mathematics learning outcomes. This research is an ex post facto correlational research using a quantitative approach. This research was conducted in state elementary schools in Mawar sub-district, Natar district in the even semester of T.A. 2022/2023. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri Gugus Mawar Kecamatan Natar with a total of 134 students. The sample used was 95 students consisting of 51 male students and 44 female students. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale, which was then analysed using the regression formula. The results showed a positive and significant influence between learning interest and self-efficacy simultaneously on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students of state elementary schools, with an influence of 57.6%. The results of this study indicate that learning interest and self-efficacy have a positive influence on mathematics learning outcomes, so efforts should be made to increase students' learning interest and self-efficacy in order to achieve more optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to describe (1) the application of the Case Method assisted by Quizizz and (2) increasing HOTS-oriented conceptual knowledge in the Elementary Civics Education course for PGSD students at Bengkulu University. This research uses classroom action research, which is carried out in a cyclical design. Each cycle stage includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were 27 semester IVB students, consisting of two male students and 25 female students. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation and written tests. Data analysis was carried out by conducting qualitative data analysis and quantitative analysis. The application of the Case Method method with the help of Quizizz media is carried out with the main material of Forming Students' Character/Character by completing one case regarding sexual violence and bullying. The results of students' conceptual knowledge test scores in the pre-cycle showed an average score of 49.07 (less), there was an increase after implementing the Case Method assisted by Quizizz in cycle I to 53.89 (less), and again increased in cycle II to 78.52 (Good). The conclusion was that there was an increase in HOTS-oriented conceptual knowledge in the Elementary Civics Education course through the application of the Case Method assisted by Quizizz for PGSD students at Bengkulu University.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah pengembangan media Reatmart (Ready to Smart) sebagai alat bantu membaca permulaan di sekolah dasar, (2) Mendeskripsikan kevalidan media ajar Reatmart (Ready to Smart) sebagai alat bantu membaca permulaan di sekolah dasar, (3) Mendeskripsikan kepraktisan media Reatmart (Ready to Smart) sebagai alat bantu membaca permulaan di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan berupa media Reatmart sebagai alat bantu membaca permulaan di sekolah. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu model pengembangan DDD-E (decide, design, develop, evaluate). Data penelitian diperoleh dari validasi materi,validasi media serta diperoleh juga data dari angket respon guru dan wawancara peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa validasi dari penilaian ahli materi memperoleh nilai rata-rata 4,17 dengan kategori valid, dari penilaian ahli media memperoleh nilai rata-rata 4,71 dengan kategori sangat valid. selanjutnya hasil dari penilaian angket respon guru memperoleh nilai rata-rata 4,77. Kepraktisan juga dilihat dari respon peserta didik, dapat diartikan bahwa media Reatmart sangat praktis digunakan sebagai alat bantu membaca permulaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dapat didapatkan dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Reatmart sebagai alat bantu membaca permulaan di sekolah dasar ini sangat valid dan praktis. Media Reatmart (Ready to Smart) yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam proses belajar membaca.
