Abstract

Accounting material is often an obstacle for high school students because this material requires strong calculation and analysis, including at MA Al Huda Kedu.  For this reason, it is necessary to have learning innovations carried out by teachers, one of which can be used is the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by 3D MatchJU in improving student learning outcomes. This study used a quantitative approach with a one group pretest posttest research design with a population of 32 students. The sample was taken using saturated sampling technique, but the data obtained were only 21 students. Data analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon test and the N-Gain test. The results showed that there was a difference in the average student learning outcomes before and after the TGT model treatment assisted by 3D MatchJU media. In addition, the use of TGT model assisted by 3D MatchJU media is effective in improving learning outcomes in the medium effectiveness category. This study implies that the use of non-digital physical media, such as 3D MatchJU can be used to improve students' accounting skills.

Abstract

Low levels of active participation among Generation Z students in traditional classroom settings remain a challenge at many universities. This study aims to investigate the role of lecturers and assessment components in the Event Planning Course (Satuan Acara Perkuliahan or SAP) as driving factors for active participation among students in the Department of Fiscal Administration (DIAF), Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FIA UI). A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires completed by DIAF students. Quantitative analysis using SmartPLS revealed that Lecturer Feedback and Components of Student Active Participation in SAP significantly influence students’ active participation. In contrast, Oral Participation and Peer Support showed no significant effects. This study underscores the critical role of lecturers, particularly through constructive feedback, in enhancing active student engagement. Descriptive findings identified student motivations and perceptions regarding the ideal weight of active participation assessment, with the largest proportion (39.7%) favoring the 6–10% range. This provides practical insights into determining appropriate weighting for participation components in SAP, relevant for designing more effective pedagogical strategies to meet professional demands in the taxation field.

Abstract

This study systematically analyzes the digital transformation of Islamic boarding school-based Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and their role in enhancing local economic competitiveness, with a focus on digital marketing and promotion strategies. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study synthesizes findings from 14 relevant articles published between 2014 and 2025. The results show that Islamic boarding school MSMEs actively adopt digital marketing through various platforms such as social media (Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Reels, Twitter) and e-commerce to expand market reach and significantly increase sales. Islamic boarding schools are identified as a vital supporting ecosystem, providing human resources (students), alumni networks, and a unique foundation of sharia values, all of which support MSMEs economic activities. However, challenges such as lack of digital literacy, limited capital, and online market competition remain. Therefore, multi-sector collaboration (e.g., the One Pesantren One Product/OPOP program) and institutional and community involvement are key to the success of digital-based MSMEs empowerment. A conceptual visualization model presented in this study illustrates the synergistic relationship between the role of Islamic boarding schools, the development of MSMEs digital capacity, the adoption of marketing strategies, and increasing local economic competitiveness.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is increasingly recognized as an essential skill for students to face global economic and social challenges. However, research on entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE) among high school students in Indonesia remains limited, despite its crucial role in shaping entrepreneurial intentions and readiness. This study aims to explore students’ levels of ESE and analyze the influence of gender and entrepreneurial experience on their abilities and intentions. Using a mixed-methods approach, data were collected through surveys measuring knowledge, interest, experience, and ESE. The findings reveal that students have high levels of entrepreneurial knowledge and interest, with ESE ranging from moderate to high. Gender was found to influence knowledge, interest, and ESE, with female students tending to demonstrate stronger entrepreneurial intentions. Moreover, prior entrepreneurial experience was shown to enhance both ESE and students’ interest in entrepreneurship. Qualitative analysis highlighted that students perceive capital, marketing, and product development as key needs for entrepreneurship, while common challenges include competition and financial constraints. Overall, students expressed neutral to positive sentiments toward entrepreneurial engagement. These findings underscore the importance of practical, gender-sensitive, and experiential entrepreneurship education to strengthen ESE and better prepare students for the challenges of the business world.

Abstract

This study examines the Human Development Index (HDI) as a primary indicator of human development quality, focusing on two core indicators: average years of schooling and per capita expenditure. It analyzes the comparison of these two indicators in Tabalong Regency during the period from 2012 to 2023, while taking into account income inequality as measured by the Gini Ratio and HDI classifications. A quantitative descriptive-comparative approach was employed. The data used is time series data from 2012 to 2023, consisting of secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Tabalong Regency. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and Independent t-Test with the assistance of IBM SPSS 25. The findings indicate that income inequality does not directly affect educational attainment or per capita expenditure, as reflected in these two indicators. Conversely, regions with higher HDI tend to show improvements in both average years of schooling and per capita expenditure. This study highlights the importance of integrated policy approaches in education, economic growth, and public health to promote inclusive and sustainable human development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of poverty levels on dropout rates at elementary, junior high, and senior high schools in Banjarbaru City. The method used is quantitative research with comparative descriptive analysis and policy analysis, and data processing using Microsoft Excel software. Time series data from the 2015/2016 to 2024/2025 academic years were obtained from secondary sources such as official reports from the Central Statistics Agency, the Social Services Agency, and related educational institutions. Data collection was conducted through literature studies, so no sampling techniques or questionnaires were required. The results of the study indicate a significant influence between poverty levels and dropout rates. Cempaka District, with 3,471 poor people, recorded the highest dropout rate. Landasan Ulin District, with 2,388 poor people, had a moderate dropout rate. Conversely, North Banjarbaru District, with 1,087 poor people, showed a very low dropout rate. These findings confirm that the higher the poverty level, the greater the risk of children dropping out of school, especially at the senior high school level.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the quality of assessment in economics subjects, particularly the topic of scarcity in grade X of high school. This study uses validity, reliability, difficulty level and discriminating power tests to analyze 25 previously developed questions. The test questions were conducted on 30 students of grade X of high school. From the results of the validity and reliability tests using SPSS 26, as many as 22 of the 25 questions (20 multiple choice and 5 essay) were declared valid and reliable. While the difficulty level test of the 25 questions is classified as easy, but from the calculation of the discriminating power of the questions, they have good quality to be used for assessment. From the test results, this study can be a reference for assessment tools in economics subjects, especially on the topic of scarcity in grade X of high school in Indonesia. However, further research is needed to improve the quality of the difficulty level of these questions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the indirect effect of various stimuli on impulsive buying through two mediating paths, namely cognitive reactions (financial literacy) and affective reactions (shopping enjoyment). This research expands understanding in the realm of impulsive buying-related studies by integrating various types of stimuli and comparing the role of cognitive and affective reactions, which are still rarely studied simultaneously in the study of college students' online shopping. Purposive sampling was used to select 155 university students in Surakarta as the research sample. Quantitative methodology based on Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) path analysis was used. The results showed that the affective mediation path (shopping enjoyment) significantly mediated the effect of stimulus on impulsive buying, however, there was no significant impact of cognitive mediation (financial literacy). This finding indicates that impulse buying behaviour tends to be triggered more by emotional aspects than by rational considerations. The practical implication is the importance of creating an emotionally pleasurable shopping experience. This research also opens up opportunities for further studies by exploring other variables to explain impulsive buying behaviour more comprehensively.

Abstract

Technological advancements have influenced the use of digital media in economics learning. Digital media is believed to provide an interactive and efficient learning experience while expanding access to learning resources. However, research on the effectiveness of Google Sites as an interactive learning medium remains limited, particularly for the topic of scarcity. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Google Sites to enhance students’ understanding of scarcity concepts in tenth-grade classes. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through unstructured interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis of student assignments uploaded to Google Drive. The informants consisted of one economics teacher and 18 tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Ungaran. The findings indicate that Google Sites is effective in: (1) presenting scarcity materials visually and interactively, (2) increasing student engagement, and (3) supporting independent learning. The main challenges include internet dependency and the need for teacher training in digital content development. This study recommends integrating Google Sites with a flipped classroom model.
