Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Maritime and Shipping Management Information System Application (SIMKAPEL) in the issuance of ship safety certificates at the Class III Port Authority and Harbour Office of Tanjung Pakis Lamongan. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative approach, with data collection through questionnaires and observation. Before the implementation of SIMKAPEL, the certificate issuance process was conducted manually, leading to delays and inaccuracies. After the implementation of SIMKAPEL, there was a significant improvement in service efficiency and accuracy, marked by a faster and more transparent process. The Wilcoxon test showed a significance value of 0.001, indicating a significant improvement in service quality post-implementation. SIMKAPEL was developed as a solution to address issues in archiving services within government agencies. It is designed to digitize the recording, storage, and retrieval processes of archives, thus enhancing administrative service efficiency and effectiveness. The system implementation accelerates work processes, minimizes data loss, and improves accuracy and accessibility of archive information. SIMKAPEL is also equipped with user authentication features, activity log recording, and keyword-based document search. It is expected that SIMKAPEL will become a model for the development of reliable and integrated archiving information systems in various public service agencies.

Abstract

In Indonesia's shipping sector, ship certificates and documents are essential for verifying a ship's seaworthiness. One of the key certificates is the BKI, which consists of two types: statutory and class certificates. Statutory certificates are further divided into Marpol and Solas certificates. Marpol certificates include international and national types, while Solas certificates focus on ship safety and security. Class certificates cover the ship's hull and machinery. However, challenges often arise during the endorsement of both statutory and class certificates, requiring analysis to identify the factors that hinder the endorsement process and optimize these activities. This research uses a qualitative approach, with data collected from ships experiencing issues during the certificate endorsement period at PT. Logindo Samudramakmur Tbk between 2023 and 2024. The data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and literature review. The findings show that the biggest hindrance is the offshore location, which limits access to the area. Other factors, such as inappropriate findings onboard and bad weather, also contribute to delays. The research recommends optimizing access availability and performing routine ship maintenance to ensure the smooth and optimal operation of certificate endorsement activities.

Abstract

PT Era Medika Alkesindo is a company engaged in the provision of medical devices with the Onehealth brand. There are several obstacles in carrying out the warehouse activity process, one of which is in terms of shipping goods where the category of types of goods and the number of goods sent do not match the purchase order. Based on this problem, the researcher tried to describe the root of the existing problems so that it is hoped that the solutions provided can be considered to improve operations in the PT Era Medika Alksesindo warehouse. Root cause analysis is the method chosen to be used in finding out the main cause or source of a problem. The causes of delivery errors were found using the Five Whys technique for 5 delivery error factors, namely manpower factors, method factors, material factors, media factors, and management factors. Some suggestions for improvement given are to add workers who are adjusted to effective working hours, emphasize the implementation of Standard operating Procedure for every activity in the warehouse, implement performance and results evaluations, utilize warehouse management systems to reduce human error. After knowing the root of the problem and the solutions that may be applied, it can certainly reduce the discrepancy in the delivery of goods by PT Era Medika Alkesindo.

Abstract

Using a literature review approach, this research looks at how the public views the accountability and openness of the Medan City Government's budget. The foundation of this research is the idea that openness and responsibility are cornerstones of effective leadership that may boost confidence in government. Finding out how people feel about government transparency and accountability in handling regional budgets is the main goal of the research. An analysis of pertinent literature, documents, and prior research is carried out as part of the methodology, which is known as a literature review. According to the study's results, budget transparency is crucial for establishing public confidence and engagement since it shows how openly the government provides information and the accountability systems are operating. The study's findings highlight the need of holding governments more responsible and transparent in order to foster more responsive and accountable leadership and, by extension, to increase public engagement in tracking how regional funds are being used.

Abstract

App-based carpooling services such as GrabCar Bareng offer potential for economic efficiency and environmental sustainability, but the adoption rate in Indonesia is still low. This study aims to explore the reasons why non-users refuse this service, even if they are familiar with ridesharing. Using a qualitative approach and thematic analysis based on interviews with 32 informants, this study identified three main reasons for adoption, namely economic benefits, environmental benefits, and social benefits, as well as six main reasons for rejection, namely time risk, social risk, privacy risk, comfort risk, security risk, and psychological risk. In addition, four situational and personal factors  novelty seeking, altruistic value, time pressure, and preference for social contact were found to influence the power of these reasons. This research expands the application of Behavioral Reasoning Theory in the context of digital transportation services and provides practical implications for service developers to design communication strategies and service features that are responsive to user concerns.

Abstract

UMKM sector is currently the leading sector of the government. UMKM as contributors to the National Gross Domestic Product (GDP) have an important role in Indonesia's economic recovery. Home Industry or home-based business is one of the alternatives that many people do today, considering that with a touch of technology there are many opportunities that can be used to adapt to changes that occur. The research method uses qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. The research informants used were home business owners of Japanese cuisine Tomodachi Sushi as the object of research. Data collection was carried out on observation (participant observation), in-depth interviews (in-depth interviews) and documentation. Data analysis is data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verification. Test the credibility of the data by triangulation and member check. Finance can be likened to a mirror of the condition of the business being run, financial records require self-discipline to maintain the accuracy of the books. The separation between personal finances to meet daily needs with business capital needs has been carried out although it has not been consistently sustainable, incidentally because of the limited working capital owned and because of the existence of other businesses that are all still being carried out simultaneously. Bookkeeping is done through a practical recording method using the BukuKas application on a smart phone and checks are carried out periodically every 2 (two) weeks considering the importance of knowing cash flow about how financial flows occur, where the source of income is obtained, what costs are incurred, how much total business turnover and how much profit/loss value is obtained.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify some significant influences of communication, word-of-mouth, and location on patient pain, as well as patient pain that worsens over time when using the Eva Wound Care Rantauprapat clinic. The data collection method used by presenting a questionnaire to 200 respondents is to use the latest data collection tool with 5 variables and 19 indicators, with a span of six weeks in 2023. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling, while the data analysis technique uses the SmartPLS 4.0 software model. The findings of the study show that communication style has a significant impact on the patient's pain perception, Patient satisfaction is significantly influenced by word-of-mouth recommendations, location, and patient satisfaction in turn influences purchase intent significantly. Patient satisfaction is 0.960, and purchase intention is 0.612. This means that from the variables studied, communication style, word-of-mouth, and location contributed 96.0% to patient satisfaction and purchase intent, while other variables contributed 4.0%. The patient satisfaction variable accounted for 61.2% of the R-square for the purchase intent variable, with additional factors outside the scope of the study accounting for the remaining 38.8%.

Abstract

Purchasing decisions for beauty serum products among women are certainly influenced by various factors in the marketing world. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of celebrity endorser factors, brand image and product quality on purchasing decisions for beauty serums in marketplaces in Indonesia. Determination of the sample in the study using the slovin formula amounted to 100 respondents and the sample that met the purposive sampling criteria. Multiple linear regression analysis is an analysis where partially the celebrity endorse variable and product quality have no effect on purchasing decisions. The brand image variable has a strong influence on purchasing decisions for beauty serum products in the Indonesian marketplace. While simultaneously the celebrity endorser, brand image and product quality variables have a strong effect on purchasing decisions. Another finding found that respondents prefer shopping for beauty serums offline compared to online.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of tax compliance, tax supervision, tax audit on income tax revenue of individual taxpayers engaged in retail business at KPP Pratama Kupang partially and simultaneously. The data analysis technique used in this research is a multiple linear analysis technique. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires offline and online. The sample used in this research was 100 individual retail business taxpayers registered with KPP Pratama Kupang. The results of this research show that partially, tax compliance, tax supervision, and tax audit have an impact on income tax revenue of individual retail business taxpayers. Meanwhile, simultaneously the variable of tax compliance, tax supervision, and tax audit together have a impact on income tax revenue of individual retail business taxpayers.

Abstract

This research is a research that aims to analyze and find out about the strategy of forming agropolitans based on local wisdom in South Lamba Leda District, East Manggarai Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive research using data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations and documentation and analyzed qualitatively descriptively using SWOT analysis. The results of the study show that the strategy of forming agropolitans based on local wisdom in South Lamba Leda District is in quadrant I (Aggressive), this is a favorable situation for this area with good local agricultural and cultural potential.
