Abstract

This study seeks to analyze the effect of leadership on the performance of employees, the impact of incentives on employee output, and to assess the combined effect of leadership and incentives on the performance of employees at PT FIF GROUP Solok Branch. The research follows a quantitative descriptive approach. To gather data, the methods employed include observations, surveys, and documentation. The data types utilized in this study are quantitative, comprising both primary and secondary data sources. The analysis method applied in this research is descriptive qualitative. The participants in the study consisted of all 38 employees of PT FIF GROUP Solok Branch. The findings indicate the effect of leadership on the employee performance at PT FIF GROUP Solok Branch. The leadership variable (X1) demonstrated a │tcount│ of 3.180 with a significance level of 0.003, while the table value at a=0.05 and df=35 is 1.68957. The impact of incentives on employee performance at PT FIF GROUP Solok Branch shows that the incentive variable (X2) has a │tcount│ of 3.286 with a significance of 0.002, where the table value at a=0.05 and df=35 is 1.68957. The combined influence of leadership and incentives on employee performance at PT FIF GROUP Solok Branch reveals a │fcount│ of 44.468 and a │fable│ (0.05: df=35) of 3.27. The data utilized in the quantitative analysis includes both primary and secondary data sources.

Abstract

Economic growth is central to the economic life of all countries in the world, including countries in Asia that are trying to increase their economic growth by sending their workers abroad. Migrant workers or people who move to other countries to find work often send money back to their families and communities. The movement of funds from the country of employment back to the country of origin is known as remittances. Migration and remittances are crucial forces in reshaping the world economy, through the process of integration that increases the motivation of trade and financial inflows around the world with the movement of labor driving economic growth and social development. The results of the study indicate that remittances positively and significantly contribute to economic growth in the 10 highest remittance recipient countries in Asia. Likewise, the variables consumption and FDI and inflation  positive significant effect on economic growth in 10 Asian countries.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the causes of the KM ship accident. Kirana I and the role of the Tanjung Emas Class I Harbormaster and Port Authority Office (KSOP) in improving shipping safety. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that accidents are caused by human negligence, especially from ship crews who ignore safety procedures, even though the ship has met all safety certification requirements. Weather factors also contributed to the incident. KSOP Class I Tanjung Emas plays an important role in monitoring shipping safety through routine inspections and issuing Sailing Approval Letters (SPB). This research recommends increasing regular shipping safety training and outreach to ship crews and port officers, as well as strengthening coordination between agencies to create a better safety culture in the shipping environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of capital structure on company value in the property/real estate sector listed on the IDX (2020-2024). In this study, capital structure is measured using Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) while company value uses Price to Book Value (PBV). The research methodology used is quantitative using multiple regression analysis techniques. Secondary data was obtained from the company's annual financial reports published on the IDX. The sample used in this study was 21 companies selected based on certain criteria using the Purposive sampling method. Based on the test results, it shows that ROA does not have a significant effect on Company Value, ROE does not have a significant effect on Company Value, DER does not have a significant effect on Company Value. Simultaneously ROA, ROE, and DER do not have a significant effect on Company Value. The coefficient of determination (R2) in this study is 0.000, which means that the ability of the independent variable to explain the variation of the dependent variable is 0% while the rest is explained by other independent variables outside the model.

Abstract

Excellent service is one of the keys to success in increasing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in government agencies. This article discusses the implementation of excellent service in the goods management section of the Palembang City Tourism Office. The purpose of this study is to analyze the extent to which the principles of excellent service, such as responsiveness, reliability, empathy, and concern, have been implemented in the goods management process. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of excellent service has had a positive impact on the efficiency of goods management and user satisfaction. However, there are still several obstacles, such as limited human resources and technological infrastructure, which need to be overcome to further improve service quality. This article provides strategic recommendations for improving the implementation of excellent service, including employee training, utilization of information technology, and strengthening the monitoring and evaluation system. Thus, this study is expected to be a reference for other government agencies in improving the quality of public services

Abstract

This study aims to analyse environmental responsibility through the application of green accounting as a sustainability effort of PT Bio Farma (Persero). This research uses a qualitative approach method. This method is to observe and also analyse the company's environmental responsibility with the application of green accounting listed in the integrated annual report of PT Bio Farma (Persero) in 2023. The data used is secondary data obtained from the company's sustainability report, which is available on the company's website. The data collection approach in this study is to deeply analyse the sustainability report of PT Bio Farma (Persero) in 2023. The results of this study indicate that PT Bio Farma (Persero) has complied with environmental responsibility through the application of green accounting.

Abstract

Poor people play an important role in economic growth, facing challenges and obstacles, one of which is capital. the presence of micro waqf banks to expand public financial access, by providing financial capital to individuals who have ties to financial institutions in the hope of improving people's living standards and reducing poverty in society. This research aims to find out the role of BWM Alpen Barokah and BWM Kariman Birajuda Al-Karimiyyah in increasing the economic income of the Islamic boarding school community and what the direct impact of the BWM Alpen Barokah and BWM Kariman Birajuda Al-Karimiyyah programs is on the development of Islamic boarding school community income and what are the similarities and differences in BWM Alpen Barokah with BWM Kariman Birajuda Al-Karimiyyah The research uses a qualitative comparative research approach. The methods used are interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects of this research were taken from the Managers and Customers of BWM Alpen Barokah and BWM Kariman Birajuda Al-Karimiyyah. The results of this research are 1. The role of BWM Alpen Barokah and BWM Kariman Birajuda Al-Karimiyyah itself is considered very beneficial for the community because of the mentoring program to increase income Islamic boarding school community 2. The direct impact of the BWM program, the Islamic boarding school community experienced changes in income after becoming a customer and taking part in assistance at BWM and thirdly. The similarity between BWM Alpen Barokah and BWM Kariman Birajuda Al-Karimiyyah is that the program helps poor productive communities around the Islamic boarding school environment. and the difference between BWM Alpen Barokah and BWM Kariman Birajuda Al-Karimiyyah is in the amount of cumulative financing where the amount of financing for BWM Alpen Barokah is 2.1 billion while the cumulative amount of financing for BWM Kariman Birajuda Al-Karimiyyah is 1.1 billion.

Abstract

“Haray” herbal drinks are processed products derived from natural raw materials, namely herbal plants and rhizomes that are widely found in Indonesia with a myriad of benefits derived from the content of the substances therein. “Haray” has a best seller product, namely ready to drink, which provides the freshness of ready-to-drink herbal drinks with variants of Rosella, Telang Lemon, Beras Kencur and Kunyit Asam. However, it is known that many of the consumers have not known the products circulating in the community, besides the lack of advertising promotion through the media is a phenomenon found in the field where massive sales have been carried out but the increase has not been seen significantly.Recognizing this, the IMC Integrated Marketing Communication design is designed to increase brand awarnees for consumers. Therefore, it is necessary to design with persuasive delivery and be able to provide education so as to bring up the act of purchasing products, searching for products and disseminating products.This design uses a mix methods research method combining qualitative and quantitative.The primary data is obtained from the results of interviews, observations, and questionnaires.While secondary data is taken through literature studies. Processing of data obtained using the TOWS method, which analyzes the internal and external conditions of the “Haray” product so that the determination of the right communication strategy can be applied in accordance with the target market.

Abstract

The research problem in this study is whether training and leadership style have an influence on the performance of employees at the Department of Manpower in Medan City. The objective of this study is to analyze the extent to which training and leadership style affect employee performance within the institution. This research employs a quantitative approach with a total population and sample of 70 employees. Data processing was carried out using SPSS version 20. The data analysis techniques include multiple linear regression, data quality tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as does leadership style, which also has a positive and significant influence. Simultaneously, both training and leadership style contribute positively and significantly to the improvement of employee performance at the Department of Manpower in Medan City.

Abstract

The research problem in this study includes whether leadership affects the performance of employees at the Manpower Office of Medan City, whether compensation affects the performance of employees at the Manpower Office of Medan City, whether leadership and compensation simultaneously influence the performance of employees at the Manpower Office of Medan City. The objectives of this study are to identify the effect of leadership on employee performance, to identify the effect of compensation on employee performance, and to identify the combined effect of leadership and compensation on the performance of employees at the Manpower Office of Medan City. This study uses a quantitative approach involving 70 employees as both the population and the sample. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 22. The analytical techniques applied include data quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Manpower Office Medan City. In addition, compensation also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Manpower Office Medan City. Simultaneously, leadership and compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Manpower Office of Medan City.
