Abstract

The selection of exemplary students is an important process in order to give appreciation to students who show superior achievements both academically and non-academically. However, the selection process carried out manually often faces subjectivity and inaccuracy in decision-making. This research aims to build a decision support system (SPK) for selecting exemplary students using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The five criteria used in the selection process are expertise competency test score (C1), school exam score (C2), report card score (C3), attitude and personality score (C4), and extracurricular participation (C5). The SAW method was chosen because it is able to rank alternatives based on weights and criteria values with simple but effective calculations. The results showed that this system was able to provide objective and systematic recommendations for the selection of exemplary students at SMKs Sirajul Huda Paok Dandak. The acquisition of the first ranking result is in alternative A3 with the highest preference value of 0.99 for Aril Gunawan who was chosen as a model student. With this system, the selection process becomes more efficient, transparent, and accountable.

Abstract

Abstract.  This study aims to determine the effect of Blooket-based educational game media on students' learning interest in Informatics subjects. The background of this research stems from the low level of student interest due to the use of conventional and less interactive learning methods. A quantitative approach was used with a pre-experimental research type and a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research subjects were 30 students of class XI Informatics B at SMA Negeri 1 Panji. Data collection techniques included observation, documentation, and a Likert scale questionnaire to measure students' learning interest. The data analysis results showed that all research instruments were valid and reliable, and the data were normally distributed. Hypothesis testing indicated a significant difference between students' learning interest before and after using the Blooket media. These findings suggest that the use of Blooket-based educational game media has a significant positive effect on increasing students' learning interest. The implication is that this media can serve as an effective alternative to create a fun, interactive learning environment and encourage active student engagement in the learning process.

Abstract. nimation Video Design Using Animaker Application to facilitate teachers in the learning process. Make the learning atmosphere cool, interesting, and fun for students. During observations at school, teachers have not maximally used animation in learning media. Teachers have not used new learning media, but only utilize books and makeshift learning media. So therefore developed learning media Design of Animation Video Using Animaker Application as Tik Learning Media in Class X MA Raudatut Thalibin with a valid category. The type of research used is using the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model has five stages, namely analysis (Analyze), design (Design), development (Development), implementation (Implementation), and evaluation (Evaluation). The results of the research on the design of animated videos using the animaker application on the validation of the media expert test got 100% with a very valid category. For the results of the validation of material experts get a value of 100% very valid category. So the design of animated videos using animaker applications reaches very valid criteria.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to design and develop a digital platform called Tes Kinerja Kendaraan (TEKKAN), which functions to support the main vehicle performance testing process at the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) unit at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali. The background of this study arises from the need for a more efficient and accurate testing system, because the manual method currently used is prone to recording errors and delays in information delivery. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Borg and Gall model which has been simplified into six stages, namely: problem identification, information collection, product design, design validation, revisions based on input, and testing of the developed product. The system development results show that the TEKKAN website is equipped with various features such as a location dashboard display, a vehicle testing data input form, vehicle data history, and information related to supporting facilities. Based on the validation results from IT experts, the system obtained a feasibility level of 68.3%, while validation from material experts showed a feasibility level of 96%, both of which are included in the feasible for use. Field trials with PKP-PK personnel also proved that this system was able to improve work effectiveness, accuracy in recording, and time efficiency during the testing process. Therefore, the implementation of the TEKKAN website has the potential to strengthen ARFF vehicle readiness and directly support the improvement of operational safety in the airport environment.

Abstract

The monitoring of physical fitness training for Airport Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) personnel plays a critical role in ensuring readiness and safety in emergency response. However, the current method of documentation—primarily using paper and messaging apps—is considered inefficient and unstructured. This study aimed to design and develop a web-based Physical Fitness Training Monitoring (PFTM) system tailored for the ARFF Unit at Adi Soemarmo International Airport. The research used a modified Research and Development (R&D) method comprising six stages: problem identification, data collection, product design, validation, revision, and user testing. The system was developed using HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL, with media and content validation performed by experts. Validation results showed that the system was rated “feasible” by the media expert (75%) and “very feasible” by the content expert (100%). User testing with 15 ARFF personnel produced an average satisfaction score of 11.6 out of 12, indicating excellent usability. The PFTM system successfully digitizes fitness logbooks, improves training documentation, enhances transparency, and supports operational performance. This innovation is expected to be a reference for broader implementation in aviation rescue units across Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract. This research was conducted at SDI Nurul Manshur by designing a website-based library information system with the aim of addressing the problems and needs that exist at SDI Nurul Manshur. This research was carried out using a method, namely the Extreme Programing (XP) method, where the Extreme Programming method is an agile method that is quite widely used, especially in small-scale application development projects. The text editor used is Sublime Text. With multi-selection features, plugins, and high speed, Sublime Text is the favorite choice of many developers. Apart from that, Sublime Text acts as a text editor used by developers to write, edit, and manage programming code. This text editor supports various programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, and others. System testing uses Black-Box Testing to ensure the features on the website run according to the desired needs. Black Box Testing is a software testing method that focuses on the functionality of a system without looking at its source code or internal structure. In conclusion, this website-based library information system is suitable for use at SDI Nurul Manshur because this system is very helpful and meets the needs, especially for library management at SDI Nurul Manshur.

Abstract

The absence of a good documentation process for equipment management in the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Study Program at the Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Curug has led to various issues, such as delayed damage handling, risk of equipment loss, and disruptions in cadet practicum activities. This research aims to design a web-based digital logbook system as a solution to these problems. The study uses a Research and Development (R&D) level 1 approach, which focuses on product design without physical implementation or testing. Data were collected through complete participatory observation and literature studies. The digital logbook system was developed using Google Sites, integrated with Google Forms and Google Sheet to systematically and in real-time record equipment inventory, borrowing, and damage reports. The system was validated using the black box testing method, which confirmed that all features functioned according to specifications and met user needs. The digital logbook is expected to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in equipment management and maintenance within the ARFF academic environment.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze and evaluate the potential musculoskeletal injuries experienced by PKP-PK personnel at Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang during the manual fire hose rolling activity. The method used for posture analysis is Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), which functions to identify and assess the risk level of injuries to the body parts involved in the activity. Manual hose rolling can pose a serious risk of injury to the lower back and waist, as the posture often used is not ergonomic. This activity requires repetitive movements that can increase the physical strain on the body, especially on the lower back muscles, wrists, and arms, potentially leading to long-term injuries such as back pain or disorders to other body structures. The results of the RULA analysis show that most respondents obtained scores indicating a high risk of musculoskeletal injury, particularly in the areas most affected, namely the waist and lower back. Based on these findings, this study proposes the design of a hose rolling assistive device, the RollHandline Multifunction, which is designed to reduce physical strain and improve ergonomic posture during the hose rolling activity. This device is expected to minimize pressure on the waist and lower back, as well as reduce the need for excessive physical exertion.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the level of knowledge of ARFF (Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting) personnel at Juanda International Airport regarding helicopter firefighting tactics and techniques in emergency situations. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques such as field observations, semi-structured interviews with three senior ARFF personnel, and literature review of regulatory documents and training modules. The data obtained were analyzed using a gap analysis method to compare actual conditions with the ideal standards stated in PR 30 of 2022 and official training modules. The results showed that personnel did not have specific training or certification for Helicopter Firefighting and Rescue, and their knowledge was still general and focused more on fixed-wing aircraft. Significant gaps were found, indicating the need for formal training and the development of helicopter firefighting Standard Operating Procedures. This study is expected to provide a basis for improving the competence of ARFF personnel in supporting airport preparedness for helicopter emergencies.

Abstract

Education and training are important to support the work that PKP-PK personnel will do. One of the learning materials needed is related to testing the main vehicles of the PKP-PK unit. However, the existing learning media are not well integrated and are not widely available. As a result, prospective PKP-PK personnel have difficulty finding learning materials. This study aims to identify efforts that can be made to enhance learning materials related to the performance testing of main vehicles, ensuring they are well integrated and easily accessible through the design of learning materials. The study employs the research and development method using the ADDIE model, which consists of first analyze, second design, third development, fourth implementation, and fifth evaluation. The results of this study are digitalized learning materials that can be used by instructors, cadets, and prospective or current PKP-PK personnel. These learning materials have been validated by subject matter experts and media experts. Based on the validation results, it can be concluded that the digitalized learning materials for the PKP-PK unit is umaru website (main vehicle performance testing) are suitable for use as learning materials.
