Abstract

This research aims to describe the peculiarities stilistika form of diction , sentence structure, and the father figure of speech in the novel by Andrea Hirata . This study used a qualitative approach to the type of content analysis study (Content Analysis). Based on the analysis, it was found the uniqueness of diction, sentence structure, figure of speech in the novel by Andrea Hirata 's father. The data found in this study as many as 59 data.

Abstract

This research aims to documented the myth, legend, and fairy tale in Jombang and developing the oral folklore to be child story which contain of character education. In this case, used qualitative method. Based on results study getting nine story’s from a few of data site interpretation which include north Jombang, west, south, and middle. From the nine story’s, then documented and described on result study. Thus, it is can be reference of giving character education for kid.

Abstract

The purpose of this research and development is to produce a teaching material of Arab-Melayu inscription for Indonesian literature students with expediently and effectively content, presentation, language, and display. This research use Team of Research Central of Educational SPolicy and Innovation’s research and development method. The result is a book and the tittle is Membuka Jendela Ilmu Pengetahuan Arab-Melayu.The trial results from matter expert obtained 90,7%, the result of the trial from studies design expert obtained 89,9%, the trial results from teacher obtained 80,6%, and student’s tes results obtained 92,8%. It’s mean that the product can be implemented. The results of effectively trial that show 70% students has high ability. So, the product can be effective for studies.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the act of politeness directive form of Kindergarten’s teacher in studies interaction. This study use a qualitative research. While, the type of language research to study of sociopragmatics. The result shown that politeness language of Kindergarten’s teacher to extend directive act for students formed by (a) using diction, (b) using sentence, (c) using songs, and (d) using gestures. The diction which shows the politness is greeting words, passive verb di-, and tag ya. The sentence used is imperative sentences, introgative sentences, and declarative sentences.

Abstract

The aims of the research and development consist of (1) developing teaching material based on multimedia integration for exposition text and manual book for teachers meeting up standard of feasibility in all of aspects content, sequencing, graphic, and language (2) describing the effectiveness of its teaching material. Production of multimedia packages was adopted in reaching these aims. The result of validation test states that both of products are up standard of feasibility for all of aspect, content, sequencing, graphic, and language. Furthermore, statistic test shows there are significant excalation in mastering exposition text before and after implementation of product.

Abstract

The use of increasingly diverse language, it is because they want or do not want the language we use will definitely be contaminated with the language of all regions in Indonesia and even discuss international languages. Therefore this article seeks to know the style of male language in communication through social media facebook, especially for the community of artists in Malang. In particular how the shape and meaning of language style male artist community in facebook? Style of language used male artist in the city of Malang is a stylistic comparison that is widely used is the "personification" of the style of figurative language depicting inanimate objects or goods lifeless as if it has human nature and "simile "in comparison of two things that are essentially different and deliberately considered equal.

Abstract

This study aimed to produce students’ worksheets (LKS) of which features are based on generative learning strategy and PMII learning that are valid, interesting and effective. This study was a development study which employed three earlier stages of 4-D (four-D) model proposed by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel. It included these stages: define, design, and develop. This study was conducted on eighth graders at SMPN 2 Malang. The results of the study showed that the worksheets were valid with an average score of 3.10. Based on the results of the tryout, it was proven that: 1) the average score of students’ questionnaire was high: 3.29. It means that the LKS was appealing to students and 2) the results of the interview conduted to the teacher revealed that the worksheets were quite interesting and applicable. The LKS was also effective. It was seen from the level of students’ mastery (87.5%): the students understand the materials very well with the LKS.

Abstract

The aim of this research is producing learning instrument based on the model of learning cycle 7E in trigonometry which are valid, practical and effective. This research refers to the developmental model of Plomp which consists of three phases that are pleminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment phase. The quality of learning instrument based on the test of validity, practicality and effectiveness. Based on data analysis, the results are: the score validity of lesson plan and the students worksheet are 3,54 and 3,44 respectively, the score practicality of lesson plan and the students worksheet are 3,53 and 3,21 respectively, the students’ ability of mathematical connections on aspects of the connection between concepts or procedures in the same material increase from 66 to 81 with high category, the students’ ability of mathematical connections on aspects of the connection between concepts or procedures in matter different mathematics increase from 49,5 to 77,9 with the high category, and the student’s ability of mathematical connections in aspects of the connection between concepts or procedures in the context of daily life increase from 55,8 to 77,4 with the high category. The students’ ability of mathematical connections in classical increased from 57,1 to 78,8 with the high category. Thus, the instrument learning based on the models of learning cycle7E in trigonometry subject for high school students of grade 10 otherwise valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

Indonesia is tropical country with high risk of tropical disease. Students need to develop life skills to cope that challenges. Therefore research to determine the effect of tropical diseases in problem-based learning on students' life skills need to be established. This experimental research was used nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were 66 high school students in Malang, 35 students as an experimental group and 31 students as a control group. Students' life skill was measured using test and data were analyzed using Anacova. The results showed that tropical disease problem-based learning significantly enhance students' life skills (p < 0.05).

Abstract

The research objective of this development is to produce mathematical Student Worksheet (LKS) is characterized by problem based learning to VII grade. In addition, this study also was conducted to determine the criteria LKS is generated based on the aspect of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The kind of research this is the development of research. The development of this research designed by following phases Plomp model of development, namely: prelimininary research, prototyping phase, and assesment phase. The subjects of this research is students of VII grade Ar-Rohmah junior high school Malang academic year 2015/2016 as many as 27 students. From the results of the field trials, found that LKS developed have valid criteria, practical, and effective
