Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe Think Pair Share (TPS) learning, which can improve students' ability in mathematic story problems probability material. According to the purpose of the research, the type of the research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of the research is 30 students of SMK Telkom Malang. The learning phases in this research is (1) Think, (2) Pair, (3) Share. Student’s ability to solve story problems include (1) understanding the problem, (2) change the problem to mathematic model form, (3) making solution, (4) write the final answer accurately. The results of the research is the level of students have the ability to solve mathematic story problem at probability material is 80%.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to explore the effect of Reading-Concept Map- Cooperative Script (Remap-CS) towards metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes on highschool students. This research used Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Metacognitive skills obtained from the essay test that is integrated with the cognitive achievement test. The test results were then analyzed with Anacova. The results of this experiment showed that Remap-CS can enhance metacognitive skill and cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Metacognitive skills to help students become self regulated learner and to understand concept better, but not many empowered learning. Metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes of students expected to be empowered in learning with Reading Concept Map-Reciprocal Teaching (Remap RT). The purpose of this research is to empower metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes by implementing Remap RT. This type of research is a quasy experiments on 60 students in SMAN 2 Batu. Metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes were measured by using essay test and then analysed by metacognitive skills measurement that develop by Corebima (2009). The results showed that Remap RT potentially increases the metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes of students compared to the conventional strategy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determined the effect of Reading-Concept Map-Timed Pair Share (Remap-TmPS) learning to the metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes. The research sample is X MIA 2 class and X MIA 3 of SMAN 2 Batu. .Data from metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes obtained from essay tests. This data analyzed using anacova test. Abstract

The aim of this design research is developing learning instrument include lesson plan and student’s worksheet with problem solving approach that have valid, practical, and effective criteria. The design research model of this research is design research model by Plomp. There are three phase of this model, that are preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assesment phase. Based on the data analysis of validity, practicality, and effectiveness, the learning instrumen is valid, practical, and effective. The score of validity is 3,86 mean valid without revision, the score of practicalitiy is 3,32 mean has high practicality, and increasing critical thinking skill as 74%.

Abstract

Information technology is useful only as a medium of information is a very important role in the search for information, it is inversely proportional to that existing in SMK Widyagama unfortunate, especially on the issue of learning is carried out with conventional methods that teachers simply do meaningful assisted power point lecture. Presentations used are limited to static media, so as to the concept of data flow on the network is less understood by the students, while the students-students of SMK Widyagama Malang at this point is equipped with TAB Android. To overcome these limitations, the LAN-based learning media is used interactive multimedia as teaching aids in learning. To produce the product development. research test media experts, subject matter experts and students - Students of SMK Widyagama Malang.The results empirically development in the form of web multimedia interactive teaching competence of the human respiratory system. The products have been validated and fit for use as an alternative medium of interactive learning at school TKJ, with the results of the validation of media experts on average by 85.2%, materials experts give an average value of 99.1%, and 93.1 students validation results.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of flipped mastery classroom towards students learning outcomes on educational psychology subject. Subject of this research are students of Educational Department of State University of Malang academic year 2015/2016 in intact group. Flipped mastery classroom is a strategy uses in experimental group and traditional strategy is a strategy uses in control group. The design of the research is Quasi Experiment Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The result shows that the use of flipped-mastery have positive impact on students learning outcomes. The experimental group hs better score significantly than the control group.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the relationship between student perception on learning and the learning achievement of Geography subject in Homeschooling Sekolah Dolan Malang City. This research used quantitative description method, with correlation analysis. Perception data collection using a questionnaire based on the Likert scale. Learning achievement data was collected from report achievement on 1st semester. Based on the data analysis, showed that the relations between student perception and the learning achievement of Geography are significant. Learning process has moderate correlation with learning achievement. The learning process is one of the external factors that have contributed in determining learning achievement, so that expected there are other factors that affect learning achievement.

Abstract

Parenting is the treatment of parents in order to meet the needs and educate the child in daily life. In a family, parents presence is of great significance for the development of a child's personality, because the family is the first and most important environment which will give effect to some aspects of child development, including discipline of the. The students discipline is to give an understanding of what is good and bad. This article will describe democratic parenting the discipline of elementary students.

Abstract

This research aims at investigating predominant factors of competent graduates SMK TBB required by construction service industry in East Java. This study was using a descriptive design in which each variable was analysed using Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA). The unit analysis within this study is a construction service industry compliance agent. This study used a cluster sampling technique in which the sample was obtained gradually from the small area to the wider area. The instrument of this study used likert scale and further was measured and translated as a variable indicator. The result of this study showed that the knowledge competence of SMK TBB graduates within the small scale requires an understanding of concrete aggregate quality and construction management in the field such as drawing up a schedule of material management, labor, equipment, and time estimation construction until construction report. Within the intermediate scale, it requires an understanding of slump test method, material usage, and concrete construction. While within the high scale, it requires an understanding of aggregate quality, concrete construction, and management construction.
