Penggunaan berbagai media dalam pembelajaran sudah harus menjadi konsen guru sehingga lebih mudah dalam penyampaian materi. Pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani hendaknya selalu dapat memanfaatkan media dalam proses pembelajaran misalnya boardball dalam pembelajaran passing bawah. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat hasil belajar passing bawah bola voli siswa dengan menggunakan media boardball. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan jumlah subjek 21 siswa kelas V sekolah dasar  Inpres 1 Dusunan Kecamatan Tinombo Kabupaten Parigi Moutong. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar mulai dari tahap observasi awal kemampuan passing bola voli siswa dengan hasil pada siklus I dan II. Nilai hasil belajar pada observasi awal (pra-siklus) yang mencapai KKM hanya sebanyak 42,86%, dan setelah diberikan tindakan dengan media boardball nilai hasil belajar passing bawah pada siklus I yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 61,90%, sedangkan pada siklus II mencapai 95,24%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar passing bawah bola voli mini yang diterapkan media boardball telah meningkatkan hasil belajar passing bawah kelas V SD Inpres 1 Dusunan Kecamatan Tinombo Kabupaten Parigi Moutong.

Penelitian jenis-jenis Amphibi Ordo Anura pada kawasan Kecamatan Lindu Kabupaten Sigi dan pemanfaatannya sebagai sumber belajar untuk pengayaan materi mata kuliah taksonomi hewan ini berlangsung selama 6 bulan dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel metode Visual Encounter Survey. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 8 spesies dari 3 famili yaitu dari famili Bufonidae adalah tercuplik 4 jenis Duttaphrynus melanonictus, Ingerophrynus biporcatus, Ingerophrynus celebensis dan Phrynoides asper. Dari Famili Dicroglossidae tercuplik 2 jenis yaitu Fejervarya limnocharis dan Fejervarya cancrivora sedangkan dari Family Ranidae tercuplik 2 jenis yaitu Hylarana chalcanota dan Hylarana celebensis. Penelitian ini berhasil mendokumentasikan foto, identifikasi serta deskripsi setiap spesies. Hasil tersebut dikemas dalam bentuk buku pengayaan materi Taksonomi hewan sebagai salah satu sumber belajar dalam pelaksanaan perkuliahan. Â

The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of internet-based discussion method learning on student learning outcomes in the low plant botanical course (BTR) Biology Education Study Program for the 2016/2017 academic year. This research was quasy experiment or quasi-experimental. The experimental design used a posttest only-non-equivalent control group design. The study population was students who programmed the BTR course in the odd semester of 2016/2017 which consisted of 4 study groups. The research sample was class D with 40 students as the treatment group and class B with 39 students as the comparison group. Data was analyzed by statistical parametric using t-test assisted by the application of the SPSS 18 program. The average posttest score for treatment group 1 (μ1) was 79.62, higher than the average posttest score for the comparison class (μ2), which was 59.00. It revealed that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, which means that there was an effect of internet-based discussion learning on student learning outcomes in the BTR course in the Biology Education Study Program for the 2016/2017 academic year.

This study aims to determine the effect of the discovery learning model assisted by interactive learning videos on the cognitive abilities of MA Ummul Mukminin students. The research design was a one group pretest-postest design. The population of this research was all students of class XI MA Ummul Mukminin. The sample in this study was chosen randomly. The instrument used to measure students' cognitive abilities was in the form of multiple-choice questions of 20 numbers given at the pretest and posttest. The data analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Inferential statistical analysis consisted of normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. Hypothesis testing used the help of the SPSS For Windows 17.0 application through the Paired Sample t-test. The test results obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.005, which means that there was a significant effect of using the discovery learning model assisted by interactive learning videos in improving the cognitive abilities of MA Ummul Mukminin's students.

In the context of Islamic Pesantren, principals have significant roles in enhancing teachers’ professional development. This study developed a critical phenomenological research to investigate the perceptions of principals in Pesantren on the notion of teachers’ professional development. The aim was to examine the understanding of principals at Rahmatul Asri Pesantren on characteristics associated with professional teachers as well as to examine their experiences related to their efforts and obstacles in enhancing teachers’ professional development in their school. Qualitative research was utilized by the researcher to understand the voices of Pesantren principals. Interviews were conducted with four school leaders using semi-structured interview. In terms of the principals’ understanding on the notion of professional teachers, this research has identified three significant themes as the attributes of professional teachers. Professional teachers have been linked to the ability of teachers to teach based on their educational background, the ability of teachers to instill spiritual and moral values on their pedagogical practices, and the ability of teachers to use computers and internet to create interesting materials. Several efforts have been made by the principals to enhance teachers’ professional development such as giving motivation and rewards to teachers, encouraging teachers to participate in trainings and workshops, and providing teachers with adequate teaching facilities. However, several obstacles were faced by the principals in developing teachers’ professional development. Those obstacles include the teachers’ double job, the difference of teachers’ academic background, and the lack of teachers’ discipline and technological expertise. This study has implications on how school principals in Pesantren and government should consider the ways in strengthening the school practices in Pesantren such as maximising the training and workshops for teachers, giving rewards to teachers, and instilling the religious values on school policies and practices.

Around 82.2 percent of land in Kabaena Island, Bombana Regency, Southeast Sulawesi is a nickel mining IUP area. To know whether the community becomes prosperous, the Human Development Index (HDI) is used to be the measurement, especially in the field of education. This study aimed to determine the HDI in the education sector which consists of two components, namely the average length of schooling (RLS) and the expected duration of schooling (HLS) in eight villages of mining area which are currently conducting exploitation. The results of this study indicated that the RLS of the mining area villages was 8.29 higher than the RLS in other areas of Bombana Regency around 7.54. Additionally, the average of HLS figure was 12.35, which was better than 11.81 of the Bombana Regency average. It shows that the presence of a mining company has affected the level of income and the welfare of thecommunity which has direct implications for the education sector. The company also provides CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) funds with a value of hundreds of millions to billions of rupiah which are used by village governments and communities for infrastructure development, health and education development. In the field of education, the CSR funds are particularly used to provide allowances to teachers, teacher’s aide salary and scholarships to all students who are currently studying.

Language is clearly to occupy a function whereas a number of people are not familiar with the function. In fact, the problem frequently happens in verbal communication in classroom when the utterances cannot be merely interpreted literally since sometimes what lecturers mean is different from what they have been stated. In order to anticipate and minimize the misunderstanding of language function uttered both man and woman lecturers, the model of speech acts is strongly required to be formed related to the gender perspective as the purpose of the research.  Researcher conducted descriptive research with pragmatic identity method with purposive sampling. The data of this research were the English lecturers’ utterances used when communicating with the students in the classrooms. The results of the research were QEC (Questioning, Explaining, Commanding) pattern frequently uttered by woman (16 categories with total 301) and CQE (Commanding, Questioning, Explaining) pattern mostly performed by the man lecturer (8 categories with total 80. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran problem posing tipe pre-solution posing berbasis Eksperimen terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa SMP Negeri 14 Palu. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen kuasi dengan desain the non-equivalent pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 14 Palu, dengan sampel sebanyak 33 siswa untuk kelas kontrol dan 32 siswa untuk kelas eksperimen. Instrumen hasil belajar fisika berupa tes pilihan ganda yang telah divalidasi melalui validitas konstruksi. Berdasarkan tes hasil belajar fisika pada materi kalor yang diperoleh, menunjukan bahwa nilai rata – rata untuk kelas eksperimen yaitu 16,97 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 2,97 dan nilai rata – rata hasil belajar siswa untuk kelas kontrol yaitu 13,85 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 3,28. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat signifikan pembelajaran model problem posing tipe pre-solution posing terhadap hasil belajar fisika pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 14 Palu.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dipadukan media animasi terhadap kretivitas dan hasil belajar biologi siswa kelas VII SMPN 19 Palu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasy experiment) dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest, Non-Equivqlent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 19 Palu dengan menggunakan dua kelas sebagai subjek penelitian yaitu kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 30 siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan STAD dipadukan media animasi, dan kelas control yang berjumlah 30 siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model konvensional. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan lembar observasi saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung dan memberikan tes hasil belajar setelah seluruh materi diajarkan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian berhasil meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dengan bukti pada pertemuan pertama jumlah siswa yang berkategori kurang lebih banyak namun pada pertemuan kedua jumlah siswa yang berkategori kurang telah berkurang jumlahnya, sedangkan jumlah berkategori baik bahkan sangat baik pada pertemuan kedua meningkat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai hasil belajar pada kelompok eksperimen dikategorikan baik dengan nilai rata-rata 78.7 sedangkan nilai hasil belajar pada kelompok kontrol dikategorikan cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 74.6. Kesimpulan yaitu penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dipadukan media animasi pembelajaran biologi dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa.

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar sains dengan menggunakan strategi learning cycle pada siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Jumo Kecamatan Kedungjati Kabupaten Grobogan. Jenis penelitin yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan tes dan non tes. Tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar sains siswa, sedangkan non tes untuk mengukur keterampilan guru dan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran sains dengan menggunakan strategi learning cycle di SDN 1 Jumo. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif untuk mengolah hasil belajar dan analisis kualitatif untuk mengolah data keterampilan guru dan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan strategi learning cycle dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sains siswa kelas IV SDN1 Jumo Kecamatan Kedungjati Kabupaten Grobogan. Hal tersebut dapat ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan hasil belajar setiap siklusnya diperoleh data pada siklus I, ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 58,1%. Pada pelaksanaan tindakan siklus II diperoleh data hasil belajar dengan persentase ketuntasan 100%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan hasil belajar sains siswa kelas IV telah meningkat dengan penggunaan strategi learning cycle. Peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 54,8%.
