Abstract

Teachers are required to be able to carry out self-development sustainably through Sustainable Professional Development (PKB) activities. One of the PKB activities is to conduct research, especially Action Research (PTK). In doing PTK is very much determined by the ability to carry out innovative learning. The results of interviews with the Head of Teacher Working Group (KKS) of Gugus 3 Palu Utara obtained information that there are still many teachers in the Gugus 3 Palu Utara District experiencing problems in implementing Student Center-based Learning (SCL) models that match the expectations of Kurikulum 13 (K13). This community service was intended to provide training to teachers of SD Gugus 3 Palu Utara in the application of innovative SCL-based learning models that are in accordance with the K13 paradigm in order to improve pedagogical abilities in the context of sustainable professional development. During the implementation of the training activities, the teachers of SD Gugus 3 Palu Utara showed high enthusiasm in participating in this training activity and many of them asked questions about things they did not clearly understand. This indicated that the implementation of the training received positive responses from the teachers of SD Gugus 3 Palu Utara. From the results of the distribution of service instruments, it was found that the average percentage of participants who answered correctly was 88%, it meant that the training participants' mastery of innovative learning was very good.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the meaning, value and function of the “opo mpole ka lima mpulu ngkau” at the Kulawi traditional ceremony in the study of hermeneutics. This research was a qualitative study using an interactive data analysis model. The data were collected using open interview techniques in depth. Based on the results of the research obtained, it can be concluded that in the traditional language "opo mpole ka lima mpulu ngkau" at the wedding ceremony there are: 1) emotive, denotative, connotative, cognitive and idiomatic meanings that describe the dowry value in a community group and free symbolic expressions and non-symbolic through hermeneutic studies, 2) ethical values (philosophy of values) and aesthetic/ cultural values as a form of respect or appreciation for ancestors, marriage institutions, and parents who give birth to and raise their daughters, 3) social, religious and educational functions. (1) Social function (life harmony), namely a social situation and situation to achieve a good and prosperous life in accordance with the status it holds, which does not conflict with regulatory values and cultural values within the community in a community value; (2) the function of religion, namely the importance of understanding, that everything that is done is accountable to the Creator and perfection can only be achieved in society, nation and country through passion and piety to God Almighty; and (3) the educational function, namely moral learning or human manners obtained from the learning process both formal, non-formal, informal, and from everyday life related to the order of community life as a customary community in the community environment, which is transformed through hermeneutic studies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan TPACK mahasiswa fisika dalam memahami konsep gerak lurus. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes seleksi responden, tes esai, dan wawancara. Tes seleksi responden terdiri dari 30 butir soal yang diberikan kepada 25 mahasiswa untuk menentukan 6 responden dan tes esai berupa soal uraian TPACK sebanyak 7 butir soal yang digunakan untuk mengukur 7 domain TPACK yaitu : technological knowledge, content knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, technological content knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge, technological pedagogical knowledge, technological pedagogical content knowledge. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan TPACK mahasiswa fisika berada dalam kategori baik dengan rerata sebesar 66.07%. Hasil analisis menunjukan mahasiswa fisika telah mampu melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan informasi (TIK).

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian dan pengembangan  ini adalah untuk menghasilkan  model latihan smash bola voli untuk pemula usia SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan Research & Development (R & D) dari Borg and Gall. Subjek dalam  penelitian dan pengembangan  ini  terdiri dari 30 pemain atau siswa uji coba terbatas (uji coba kelompok kecil), 70 pemain atau siswa uji coba utama (field testing) dan 50 pemain atau siswa uji efektifitas model. Uji efektifitas model menggunakan tes smash bola voli untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan smash bola voli untuk pemula usia SMA sebelum pemberian treatment berupa model latihan smash yang didesain dan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan smash bola voli setelah perlakuan atau treatment model smash yang didesain tersebut, dari tes awal yang dilakukan diperoleh rata-rata tingkat kemampuan smash bola voli untuk waktu adalah 3,71 dan rata-rata smash bola voli untuk ketepatan adalah 7,54. Kemudian setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa model smash bola voli diperoleh rata-rata tingkat kemampuan smash bola voli untuk waktu adalah 2,41 dan rata-rata smash bola voli untuk ketepatan adalah 9,94. Maka model latihan smash bola voli ini efektif dalam meningkatkan latihan smash bola voli untuk pemula usia SMA. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Dengan model latihan smash bola voli untuk pemula usia SMA dapat dikembangkan dan diterapkan dalam latihan smash bola voli; (2) Dengan model latihan smash bola voli untuk pemula usia SMA yang telah dikembangkan, diperoleh bukti adanya peningkatan ini ditunjukkan pada hasil pengujian data hasil pretest dan posttest adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah adanya perlakuan model.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui Gambaran kemampuan literasi informasi dan pengaruh penerapan metode pembelajaran diskusi berbasis pro kontra dan lottery card terhadap kemampuan literasi informasi mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Kimia FKIP Universitas Tadulako. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasy experiment). Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester IV prodi pendidikan kimia tahun akademik 2019/2020 sebanyak 86 orang. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik random class dan terpilih dua kelas dengan jumlah 62 orang.  Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket literasi informasi. Teknik analisis data yang terdiri dari analisis statistik deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik distribusi nilai kemampuan literasi informasi mahasiswa dan analisis statistik inferensial untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kemampuan literasi informasi mahasiswa prodi pendidikan Kimia FKIP Untad berada pada kategori  sedang,  2) Ada pengaruh metode pembelajaran diskusi berbasis pro kontra dan lottery card terhadap kemampuan literasi informasi mahasiswa

Abstract

Di era inoformasi saat ini, perkembangan teknologi semakin pesat di berbagai sektor kehidupan baik dalam bidang ekonomi, industri, kesehatan juga berimplikasi terhadap dunia pendidikan. Inovasi-Inovasi pembelajaran yang menuntut tenaga pendidik maupun peserta didik untuk berfikir kreatif serta mampu menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman untuk menghasilkan peserta didik yang aktif, kreatif, inovatif dan tentunya berakhlak mulia. Dalam hal ini, guru sebagai tenaga pendidik yang memiliki peran ganda yaitu sebagai fasilitator sekaligus sebagai motivator dalam upaya pengembangan kreativitas mahasiswa, guru dituntut mampu menyesuaikan diri sesuai dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa masa kini dengan mendesain pembelajaran yang berbasis teknologi. Maka dari itu penulis membuat sebuah inovasi dalam mendesain pembelajaran yang berbasis teknologi dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi QR Code serta mengemasnya dengan cara yang menyenangkan agar peserta didik belajar sambil bermain namun substansi dari pembelajaran tersampaikan dengan baik. Desain pembelajaran yang penulis buat bernama Scan and Guest yang berarti scan dan tebak. Seperti eksperimen yang telah penulis lakukan terbukti mampu menarik daya partisipan mahasiswa. Inovasi yang penulis buat mampu mempermudah guru/dosen dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran serta tentunya menghemat waktu.

Abstract

The Padungku tradition is used by the public to express gratitude for the harvest, and as a way to unite various ethnic communities. This study aims to determine the integration of the Padungku tradition in the immigrant community and to know the process of integration of the tradition, as well as the driving and inhibiting factors for the social integration of the tradition in Sangele Village, Pamona Pusalemba District. This research used desciptive qualitative approach. The data analysis process in this study used a phenomenological approach. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling technique. The informants were village officials, traditional leaders, community leaders, religious leaders and the community. The results showed that the process of social integration of the Padungku tradition to the Sangele village community, Pamona Pusalemba sub-district occurred since the beginning of the entry of newcomers. All immigrant residents also participate in the celebration of the Padungku tradition, because of interaction in society, tolerance among communities and the similarities of their cultural elements. The inhibiting factor in the process of integrating the Padungku tradition is that there are some groups of people who want to mingle only with their fellow communities.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the learning activeness of 10th grade students of TSM A SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Palu by applying the discovery learning model. This research was a classroom action research (PTK) which was conducted in 3 cycles. Each cycle consists of three steps according to Kemmis & McTaggart, which are planning, acting and observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 30 students of grade 10th of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Palu who were in odd semester 2019/2020 academic year. The data in this study were obtained through the student learning activeness observation sheet. The data were analyzed using the quantitative data analysis technique of learning activity. Learning activity was categorized successful if the percentage of students who passed the passing grade was at least 76%. The result of this research indicated that the discovery learning model can increase the learning activeness of class 10th graders of TSM A students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Palu. It was revealed by the increase in the percentage of student learning activeness in the first cycle by 31.42% with the criteria of "very poor". In the implementation of cycle II, the percentage of student learning activeness was 67.61% with the criteria "sufficient". While the implementation of the third cycle, the percentage of student learning activeness was 79.04% with "good" criteria. This research was stopped in the third cycle because the results have achieved the minimum success standard category.

Abstract

This study aims to map the knowledge of biology teachers about the use of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) learning framework in public high schools in Palu city. The intention of this study was that the steps and policies can be formulated regarding the use of the TPACK learning framework. By doing so, teachers can present interesting learning for students thus they are motivated to take part in learning biology which in turn can improve their learning outcomes. TPACK is a learning framework that combines technology, pedagogy and learning material content. The research method used descriptive exploratory. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The data were collected using questionnaire distribution that was given to high school biology teachers across 10 public high schools in Palu city with the total of 21 respondents. The data analysis used descriptive percentage. The results showed that the knowledge of biology teachers at SMA Negeri Palu was 54.3% in the criteria of “knowing enough” about the implementation of the TPACK learning framework.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to develop a visual aid for the Doppler effect concept. The type of research was Research and Development (R&D) with a research design adapted from Intructional Media Design, namely the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). To find out the feasibility of the props, a product's feasibility test was carried out. The feasibility test was divided into two, the media feasibility test and the limited test. Based on the results of the media feasibility test conducted, it was obtained an average score of 3.67 with the very good category. The results of the limited test assessment conducted by ten students of Batch 2017 of Physics Education Study Program Tadulako University. The  average score was 3.34 with strongly agree category. The results showed that the Doppler effect visual aid that has been developed can be used as a tool in the learning process.
