Diabetes mellitus (DM) has become a world health problem and continues, especially in developing countries and is a health problem that impacts human resources. The number of cases and the prevalence of diabetes have continued to increase over the last few decades. Sumbawa Regency is one of the areas in NTB where DM sufferers are increasing. The purpose of this study was to see its effectiveness as food for people with type 2 diabetes. This experimental research was an experiment. Diabetes Mellitus patients received direct treatment by offering Ganyong as food as food for the rice group. The research was conducted in 3 health centers located in the working area of Sumbawa Regency. This research involved 40 respondents in which 20 respondents became the Experiment group and 20 respondents became the Control group. Data were collected through interviews and observations using questionnaires and blood samples were examined for respondents to see their initial blood sugar levels before being given treatment to the experimental group. Based on the results of the t test analysis on Diabetes Mellitus Patients, there is a significant difference between treatment and after treatment with a difference value of 72.25 and a value of 0.040. While the results of laboratory analysis using the luff-schroll test with the titration method found that the carbohydrate content in ganyong was 84.7%, the glucose content was 23%, the air content was 12.1% and the ash content was 3.86%.

Abstract

countries. The proportionate mortality rate (PMR) due to ARI in children under five in the world is 16%, two thirds of deaths are infant deaths. The purpose of this study was to analyze the risk factors for family behavior with the incidence of ARI in children under five in Indonesia. The method in this study uses meta-analysis to find the effect size value using JASP software version 0.9.2. Sources of data in this study came from Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Pubmed then sorted according to inclusion and exclusion criteria and obtained 37 research articles. The results of secondary data from the meta-analysis method found that the variable using mosquito coils had a 1.094 times greater risk of experiencing the incidence of ARI in toddlers. The conclusion from the results of the meta-analysis that has a higher level of risk on the family behavior variable is the family smoking habit variable. Efforts to control the risk of ARI in toddlers by conducting periodic counseling or promotion about the dangers of ARI disease, reducing the factors that influence the incidence of ARI in toddlers by providing good nutrition for the growth and development of infants, as well as communities or families who have toddlers to stop smoking, especially in the house or near.Keyword: ARI incidence, family behavior, and toddlers

Abstract

Turmeric leaves (Curcuma longa L.) contain secondary metabolites, one of which is a phenolic compound. The choice of solvent is important in the extraction process, ethanol is chosen because it can attract compounds that are soluble in non-polar to polar solvents. The ethanol concentrations in this study were 60, 70, 80, and 96% with the extraction method used was maceration. The screening test obtained positive results for phenolic content. This is indicated by the appearance of a fluorescent blue-black stain on the plate after being sprayed with FeCl3 reagent. TLC test obtained comparison Rf value (gallic acid) is 0.53. Rf values for ethanol concentrations of 60, 70, 80, 90 and 96% were 0.53; 0.55; 0.57; 0.60; 0.60. The method used to determine the total phenolic content is folin-ciaocalteu. Analysis with visible spectrophotometry obtained the average total phenolic content of ethanol extract concentrations of 60, 70, 80, 90 and 96%, respectively 1.078; 1.796; 1.964; 1.842; and 1.787 GAE mg/g extract. The results of statistical tests obtained data that are normally distributed but not homogeneous, there are significant differences at concentrations of 60, 80, and 96%. The conclusion was that the highest phenolic content was in the ethanol extract of turmeric leaf with a concentration of 80%, there was an effect of ethanol concentration on the total phenolic content of the turmeric leaf ethanol extract, and there were differences in the total phenolic content at each concentration of ethanol used. Keywords :Turmeric Leaves (Curcuma longa L.), Total Phenolic Level, Ethanol Concentration, Visible Spectrophotometry

Abstract

SI-GEMBUL (Integrated Information System for Nutritional Status of Superior Toddlers) is an application made to collect data and handle stunting cases at Puskesmas Halmahera. Along with the increase in cases of stunting, efforts need to be made to accelerate stunting prevention in toddlers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between performance expectations, business expectations, hedonistic motivation, and price value with the intention of using the SI-GEMBUL application at Puskesmas Halmahera. The type of research used in this study was quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The method used was the UTAUT2 method. The samples in this study were all health cadres in RW 12 and RW 14 of Rejosari Village, who were selected by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there was a relationship between the factors of performance expectations, business expectations, hedonistic motivation, and price value to the intention to use the SI-GEMBUL application, with a significance value (sig) of 0.014 for the performance expectation variable, a significance value (sig) of 0.003 for the business expectation variable, a significance value (sig) of 0.001 for the hedonistic motivation variable, and a significance value (sig) of 0.014 for the price value variable. The advice that can be given is that health cadres can help each other using the SI-GEMBUL application and puskesmas can monitor the health cadres regarding the use of the SI-GEMBUL application so puskesmas can take advantage of the SI-GEMBUL application in the future.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has restricted human activities or a person's mobilization. Activity restrictions can make people experience psychological disorders, including pregnant women. This certainly makes it easier for pregnant women to experience stress and the lack of direct social support by those closest to them during the pandemic. The purpose of this study is to examine social support and stress reduction for pregnant women in maintaining health during the COVID-19 pandemic era. Search literature using journal databases, namely Science Direct, Scopus, and Proquest. The journal search strategy aims to retrieve research articles that are by the research topic so that 9 journal articles are discussed in this study. The results of this research study found that social support is important for pregnant women by the closest people such as husbands, family, and friends. Social support can be provided through virtual support to improve the quality of life of pregnant women. Activities for pregnant women that can reduce stress include communicating with others, physical activity, seeking entertainment, rest, alternative therapy, nature recreation, doing home activities such as cooking, doing favorite hobbies, organizing (including studying, preparing for the arrival of the baby), and controlled eating/drinking activities.
