Abstract

This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. The objects of this research were 38 students of class XI IPA 6. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the numbered head together (NHT) learning model on the learning outcomes of students in class XI IPA 6 SMA Negeri 1 Palembang with material on strengthening national unity within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The method used in this study was classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out for three learning cycles, each cycle consisting of the stages of planning (Planning), implementation (Action), observation (Observation), and reflection (reflection). The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of applying the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model on student learning outcomes. Judging from the initial data obtained by researchers who show learning outcomes for class XI IPA 6 with an average grade of 72, students who complete are 74% and students who do not complete are 26%, the highest score is 79 and the lowest score is 63 from KKM 70. And the final results obtained in the 3rd cycle of learning increased to an average class value of 87, the percentage of students who completed was 100% and the highest student score was 100 and the lowest score was 80.

Abstract

Learning carried out in class V SD 3 Padurenan, teachers still use the lecturing method (teacher centered), lack of use of learning media and low interest in learning so that it can affect student learning outcomes. In accordance with these problems, the purpose of this study is to describe the effect of monopoly media-assisted contextual learning models on social studies learning outcomes for elementary school students. The approach to this research is to use a quantitative research approach with the Pre-Experimental method. The population in this study were all fifth grade students at SD 3 Padurenan for the 2022/2023 academic year. The sample in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The sample used in this study were 15 fifth grade students. Data collection techniques in this study were tests, interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study using. Data collection techniques by means of tests, observations and documentation. Analysis test can be done by t-test by measuring the normality test first. Meanwhile, in the N-gain score analysis test on social studies learning outcomes, it is known that students get results of 61, this shows the category "effective enough ". So, it can be concluded that by using a contextual learning model assisted by monopoly media, learning activities will be effective and learning outcomes will increase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of communication in the basic skills of teaching professional teacher candidates through the PPG Prajabatan program in the field of social studies education at Semarang State University. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, data analysis is done by reducing data, presenting data, to draw conclusions. The research data shows the communication skills of PPG Prajabatan participants in the components of opening lessons, managing classes, and closing classes. In the ability to open the class still needs to be improved again because there are still participants who get a sufficient assessment. In the ability to manage the class from all indicators ranging from the ability to ask questions, listen with empathy, and respond to various individual needs, overcome inappropriate behavior, make variations in learning, provide constructive feedback most of them have received very good and good ratings. In the ability to close the class there are still seven participants who get good grades.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the difficulties faced by Grade 7 students in junior high schools which hinder their initial reading learning. This research includes observational research. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained was analyzed descriptively after first being reduced (data reduction), and its validity was tested through a data credibility test. The results of the research show that the forms of difficulties faced by grade 7 students at the Junior High School where the researcher works in the campus teaching program which have the potential to hinder students' learning to read are as follows: 1) students find it difficult to pronounce letters that have the same sound as j with g, students have difficulty reading words with more than 4 letters, students cannot read words well, students have difficulty spelling the instructed syllables, students have difficulty distinguishing between the letters b and d, the letters m and w, and the letters j with g and so on, 2) factors that hinder students from helping Class 7 students read are intellectual factors, environmental factors such as parents, psychological factors, and the Covid-19 pandemic factor. The solution to this problem is that students are given additional hours outside of class, such as by creating a literacy class that meets twice a week and then collaborates according to the students' abilities.

Abstract

Based on observations made by the author at SMA Negeri 6 Malang, it was found that the application and implementation of learning from the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in terms of the theme of Global Diversity using a project-based learning model for class X (Ten) students is seen as new, innovative and participatory . students are active in the learning process. So the authors are interested in conducting research. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of P5 on the theme of Global Diversity as the implementation of the Independent Curriculum and the implementation of P5 using a project-based learning model. The research method used is descriptive method with data collection tools in the form of documents, observations and interviews. The implementation of P5 as an implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMA Negeri 6 Malang is a curriculum structure consisting of 2/3 intracurricular or face-to-face activities (KBM) and 1/3 co-curricular activities or P5 Projects. Designing the learning implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) with the theme of Global Diversity using the Project Based Learning learning model. The stages in its implementation are the stages of socialization, planning, monitoring in the form of holding action activities, holding celebrations, evaluating and reflecting. Each stage carried out in the learning implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) uses the syntax in PjBL. The teacher as a facilitator is in charge of assisting, directing and providing input and suggestions for project implementation so that students are expected to develop according to their talents and interests. The conclusion from the implementation of P5 students is expected to be able to develop Pancasila student profiles and become agents of social change who are actively involved in solving social problems that exist in society. So that it can maximize its role as an important part of society and the state.

Abstract

Internalization is a process of individual learning and being accepted as part of society from an early age to adulthood. Multicultural values consist of values of openness, tolerance, and mutual help. Internalization of multicultural values is needed because there are still differences in language among students due to the regional origins of the majority of students. The purpose of this study was to find out multicultural values through social studies learning given by students, explain how to foster multicultural values through social studies learning, and explain the process of internalizing multicultural values through social studies learning. The method used for research is storytelling, learning outside the classroom, and school events held on holidays. By using this method, students' behavior can change from rejecting others who are different to accepting and being friendly with others. These constraints also arise when they imply multicultural values, such as a lack of knowledge in media storytelling techniques used by teachers, lack of learning media in schools, and the conditions in which students.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) analyze the influence of direct learning models, problem-based learning, and achievement motivation on students' social skills in social studies subjects, (2) analyze the influence of direct learning models on students' social skills, (3) analyze the influence of the problem-based learning model on students' social skills, and (4) analyzing the influence of achievement motivation on students' social skills. This research is quantitative. The sample used 25% of 315 class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Pamekasan totaling 80 students. The research results show that: first, there is a significant influence between the direct learning model, problem-based learning, and achievement motivation on students' social skills. Based on the analysis of significance values, the sig value = 0.000, so the significance value is <0.05. Second, there is no significant effect of the direct learning model on students' social skills. Based on the analysis of significance values, the sig value = 0.929, so the significance value is > 0.05. Third, there is a significant influence between problem-based learning on students' social skills. Based on the analysis of significance values, the sig value = 0.004, so the significance value is <0.05. Fourth, there is a significant influence of achievement motivation on students' social skills. Based on the analysis of significance values, the sig value = 0.000, so the significance value is <0.05. The results of this research can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the direct learning model, problem-based learning, and achievement motivation on students' social skills

Abstract

This research aims to determine the differences in the influence of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) and Talking Stick learning models on student motivation and learning outcomes. The research design used in this experimental research is Factorial Design Experiment, using Pretest-Posttest, Nonequivalent Multiple Group Design. This research uses two experimental classes. The first experimental class (X1) was treated using the NHT model and the second experimental class (X2) was treated using the Talking Stick model with a total of 50 students. The instruments used in this research were test sheets, invitation sheets, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive tests and inferential tests (normality, homogeneity and Manova tests). Based on the results of data analysis carried out using SPSS 25, there is no significant influence between the simultaneous learning model on the motivation and social studies learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN Kaluku Bodoa with a significant value of 0.822> 0.05, which means that H1 is rejected. H0 is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of Indonesia's post-earthquake humanitarian assistance in Türkiye on the dynamics of relations between the two countries. Aid activities have an impact on the political, social and economic conditions of bilateral relations between Indonesia and Türkiye. The results of this research show that Indonesia's humanitarian assistance during the Türkiye Earthquake had a positive impact on bilateral relations. Politically, Indonesia is able to improve Indonesia's good image as a country that has a high sense of concern. Socially, it is able to deepen emotional feelings and strengthen the sense of solidarity between communities in the two countries. Meanwhile, economically, Indonesia is able to open up opportunities for economic cooperation and build trust in trade and investment relations. So it can be concluded that this assistance strengthens positive relations between Indonesia and Türkiye in creating a solid foundation for future cooperation

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the process of developing interactive quizzes with classpoints based on the independent curriculum in class X economics subjects at SMA Negeri 6 Malang and to analyze their feasibility. Research using the ADDIE model research and development (R&D) approach with 5 stages is the focus of the research, namely; (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) Implementation (5) Evaluation. The results of the feasibility validation from the three validators are as follows; (1) material expert validation obtained 92.5% with a very feasible category with the advantage of being able to change the material and add material for example market structure material, (2) media expert validation obtained 95% with a very feasible category with the advantage of classpoint which has many features so that it can making learning interactive and active, (3) language expert validation obtained 90% in the very appropriate category with the advantage that the language used is very easy to understand, (4) and expert student responses received 92.71% in the very appropriate category.   Â
