Abstract

In learning, the type of learning has an important role in the learning process and outcomes. The application of this type of learning in a learning process will certainly influence the learning outcomes of male and female students. The aim of this research is to determine the social studies learning outcomes of 6th grade elementary school male and female students in several types of learning. This research approach uses a quantitative, quasi-experimental method with a pretest post-test only control group design. The sample for this research used 4 groups of 6th grade students totaling 100 students at SDN Kesatrian 1 for the 2022-2023 KD academic year. IPS 3.2 curriculum 2013 with 25 students in each class, class 6B as an experimental class with an inquiry model and video media, class 6D as a positive control A with an inquiry model, class 6C as a positive control B with video media, and class 6A as a conventional control . This research instrument is in the form of a pretest question sheet and learning outcomes of 20 multiple choice questions which are arranged based on the bloom dimensions which have gone through validity, realibiity, different tests, and been validated by validators who are experts in the field. Based on the results of the double Anakova hypothesis test, the results of this study state that there are differences in learning outcomes based on the type of learning applied in each class. However, the results of further tests stated that there were no differences in social studies learning outcomes for male and female students in several types of learning.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the relationship between human geography, culture and social identity in the context of globalization and will examine geographical factors. Cultural exchanges, migration flows, and the penetration of information technology have accelerated intercultural integration but have also created new challenges in maintaining local identity. The research method applied in this article involves literature study or literature analysis.This research involves techniques such as studying related literature, summarizing data, sorting data, and concluding the results. Through data analysis and field findings, it shows that geographical factors such as location, physical environment and social structure have a significant impact in shaping and changing culture and human social identity, globalization has become the dominant factor that shapes the dynamics of culture and social identity throughout the world. world. Globalization, as a process of global economic, social and cultural integration, has produced various complex impacts on human life. This research provides new insights in understanding social and cultural dynamics in the era of globalization. By understanding how human geography influences cultural interactions and the formation of social identities, policies can be designed that are more effective in managing cultural diversity and promoting inclusive social development.

Abstract

Indonesia, with its abundant cultural diversity, is fertile ground for understanding cultural heritage and local identity. From Aceh to Papua, every region in Indonesia exudes unique cultural richness. Indonesia has a rich tribal culture that is spread widely throughout the islands of this country so that the diversity of tribes and races in Indonesia has led to the formation of various cultures. This article is to provide a better insight into the richness of Indonesian culture and explore various efforts to preserve local identity that have been undertaken by the government, NGOs and civil society in Indonesia. The research methods used include collecting data, analyzing information, and compiling findings. The initial step in this research is to conduct a literature study on the topic being researched. Through searches in academic databases and other sources, relevant literature on cultural heritage, local identity and Indonesia will be collected. Journal articles, books, research reports, and online sources will be used to gain a comprehensive understanding of the topic. The results of this research highlight the importance of understanding and preserving cultural heritage and local identity in Indonesia. With concrete steps, such as empowering local communities and implementing supportive policies, Indonesia can maintain its extraordinary cultural wealth and strengthen local identity in facing the challenges of globalization and modernization. Cultural heritage and local identity have a very important role in shaping the social, cultural and political framework in Indonesia. Abundant cultural riches, ranging from art, music, dance, language, to traditional traditions, reflect the diversity and uniqueness of Indonesian society. Local identity plays a central role in forming community unity and strengthening solidarity and a sense of pride in local culture.

Abstract

The emergence of new challenges in education presents opportunities for students to explore learning outside their field of study. Lecturers need to prepare learning materials, such as electronic modules, to help students develop critical thinking skills. The aim of this research is to develop an electronic module based on problem based learning for the Indonesian Community Studies course. The development approach used uses the R&D model. Validation results show that this electronic module received a positive assessment from content/material experts (83.57%), learning design experts (84.71%), and media experts (84%). Trials with lecturers and students also showed good quality. Thus, the results of this research confirm that the Problem Based Learning-based electronic module developed is suitable for use in the Geography Education Study Program at Pattimura University

Abstract

Increasing students' independence through entrepreneurship learning is one way for students to be able to face changes in world globalization. However, these two things cannot immediately appear in a person, but need to be trained. So this research was conducted to look at the role of entrepreneurship education in developing students' independent attitudes at Selamat Pagi Indonesia High School, Batu City. This research aims to describe: 1) Knowing the entrepreneurial learning of students at Selamat Pagi Indonesia High School, 2) Knowing the development of the independent character of students at Selamat Pagi Indonesia High School based on entrepreneurship education. This type of research is case study research with a qualitative approach. Data collection methods are observation, documentation and interviews. Data validity using source triangulation. The resource persons in this research were economics teachers, student affairs teachers, religion teachers, guidance and counseling teachers and students. The results of this research provide conclusions including: 1) In managing entrepreneurship-based social studies learning, the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) is prepared by integrating entrepreneurial values ​​in learning and assessment steps. In preparing the syllabus, add one column to integrate entrepreneurial values. 2) The independence of students at Selamat Pagi Indonesia High School, Batu City in entrepreneurship-based social studies learning, namely initiative, self-confidence and responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the effect of the use of LCD projectors and problem-based learning models (PBM) on the learning outcomes of elementary school students, (2) analyze the influence of the use of LCD projectors on student learning outcomes, (3) analyze the influence of problem-based learning models (PBM) on student learning outcomes. This research is quantitative.  Data collection techniques include; observations, questionnaires, and documents. The results of the study show that: 1). There is a significant influence between the use of LCD projector (X1) and the problem-based learning model (PBM) (X2), on the learning outcomes of students in grades IV and V in cluster 7, which is 70.005% with a significant value of 0.000. 2). The use of LCD has a positive effect on the learning outcomes of students in grades IV and V in cluster 7, which is 50.71% or can be rounded up to 51%. 3). The problem-based learning model (PBM) has a positive effect on the learning outcomes of grade IV and V students in cluster 7 by 58.87% or if rounded to 59%.  The conclusion of the study is that there is a significant influence between the use of LCD projectors (X1) and problem-based learning models (PBM) (X2), on the learning outcomes of students in grades IV and V in cluster 7.

Abstract

This study aims to: determine the implementation of Regent Regulation No. 29 of 2020 concerning PPK and PAK in Formal and Non-Formal Education Units at the Elementary Education, Child Education and Equality Education levels, especially in Balesari Village. In addition, to find out the obstacles and solutions carried out by the Village Government related to the policy. This research is anempirical juridical research. The data collection techniques carried out by the researcher are by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data processing techniques are carried out by means of data examination (editing), data classification (classifying), verification (Verifying), analysis (Anlysis) and Conclusions (Conclusion))(Muhaimin, 2020). The results of this study found that Balesari Village has made efforts to strengthen character education and anti-corruption by synergizing with education activists, anti-corruption activists, universities and from non-formal educators. The obstacles experienced are related to the skills needed when conducting anti-corruption education for students and the lack of public knowledge related to anti-corruption.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of interactive use of smartboards on students' critical thinking skills in order to realize the sustainable development goals (SDGs). This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type through a non-equivalent control group design. The population is class X which consists of 15 classes and the research sample, namely class X12 as an experimental class and X6 as a control class. The data collection technique used consists of tests and observations. The results of the prerequisite test showed that the data was distributed normally and homogeneously, so to test the hypothesis use ujit. The results were > ttable (8,502 >2,036), meaning that the use of interactive smart boards had an impact on the acquisition of students' thinking skills in order to realize the SDGs.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of using the STAD learning model assisted by liveworksheets on achievement motivation to realize sustainable development goals (SDGs). This study uses a quantitative approach, the type is a quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. This study's population was all class XI MAN 2 Mataram students. The sample of this study was class XI IPS 1 and class XI IPS 3. The research instruments used were observation sheets and questionnaires. Analysis of hypothesis test data using paired sample t-test with a significance level of 5%. The results of the hypothesis test showed that the tcount> ttable (16,361> 2.037), so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that applying the STAD learning model assisted by liveworksheets affects students' achievement motivation to realize SDGs

Abstract

This study aims to increase participation and interest in learning geography in students of class XI Social 1 at Private High School Abdi Sejati Commerce through the Game-Based Learning approach on biosphere materials. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with two cycles, involving 30 students. The results showed that 93.33% of students found the geography learning carried out very interesting, and 86.67% agreed that the Game-Based Learning method could be applied to other subjects. The average achievement of learning scores increased from 55 in the initial condition to 81.46 in the second cycle. In addition, the presentation of students' learning interests also increased from 50% to 93.33%. These findings indicate that Game-Based Learning type cooperative learning strategies are effective in increasing students' interest and learning outcomes, as well as fostering the ability to cooperate and think critically
