Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of financial literacy and teachers' perceptions of financial literacy education. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach, this study involved 11 teachers as respondents. Data were collected through a questionnaire adopted from the developed instrument. The results of the study indicate that the level of financial literacy of teachers is quite good. The majority of teachers understand the importance of insurance for future protection and carry out regular savings activities. However, it was found that teachers lack confidence in comparing prices when making transactions. Regarding perceptions of financial literacy education, teachers generally agree that financial literacy learning is important to be taught from an early age and can have a significant impact on the quality of life in the future. This study also revealed that teachers want a curriculum that accommodates financial literacy learning for early childhood, and emphasizes the importance of cooperation between teachers, schools, and parents in developing children's financial literacy skills. In conclusion, although the level of financial literacy of teachers is quite good, improvements are still needed in several aspects, especially in the ability to compare prices. In addition, a more comprehensive curriculum is needed to support financial literacy education from an early age

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of a multicultural education e-module in enhancing students' global diversity character values at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 8 Suwawal. The scope of the research includes understanding and internalizing values of tolerance, mutual respect, and cross-cultural collaboration through the use of technology in the learning process. The study employs a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest design involving two groups: an experimental group using the e-module and a control group employing conventional methods. Data were analyzed using a Paired Samples T-Test to determine the significance of differences between pretest and posttest results. The findings indicate a significant difference between the mean pretest and posttest scores, with a p-value of 0.040 (p < 0.05), suggesting that the use of the multicultural e-module significantly improves students' global diversity character values. The effect size measured using Cohen's d is 0.507, indicating a medium effect. However, the mean difference of 3.26 reflects some uncertainty due to the insufficient sample size. In conclusion, the multicultural e-module is effective in enhancing students' global diversity character values. Nevertheless, further research with a larger sample size is required to ensure more accurate results and broader generalization.

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials that represent 21st Century skills (4 Learning Skills). This research is a type of development research (Research and Development). The development model used is the Borg & Gall model. Quantitative data was obtained from a product development assessment questionnaire by material experts, design experts, linguists and users (teachers and students), while qualitative data was obtained through filling in comments and suggestions, both from experts and users. Quantitative data analysis uses descriptive percentage techniques, namely the number of respondents' answers in one item divided by the number of ideal answers in one item. The results showed that the module prepared had a suitability from material experts of 94.28%, from design experts obtained a percentage of 93.75%, from linguists obtained a percentage of 89.33% which means that the language module is valid or suitable for use. The individual test results obtained a percentage of 84.44%, the results of testing the effectiveness of the use of modules obtained from teacher and student responses obtained a percentage of 89.33% and 89.19% which means the module has good effectiveness. Thus, social studies teaching materials in the module is valid and feasible to use to support social studies learning. Recommendations for further research are to develop similar modules with different learning objective and conduct product trials on a wider scale (dissemination)

Abstract

This research aims to show how Singosari Temple can be used as an interesting and effective resource in teaching social studies material, as well as increasing students' understanding of the importance of preserving historical and cultural heritage. This study uses descriptive qualitative type research. Data collection techniques: participatory observation and interviews with conservationists at Singosari Temple Malang. Data analysis techniques include thematic analysis and descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that Singosari Temple has proven to have great potential to be used as an interesting and effective learning resource in teaching social studies material, especially in the topic of Indonesian history and culture. The conclusion of the study explains that the use of historical sites such as Singosari Temple in social studies education can be an effective strategy to strengthen the sense of nationalism, deepen historical understanding, and foster awareness of the importance of preserving

Abstract

This study aims to find out the overview of the implementation of classroom management in SD Negeri Yamo Puncak Jaya and to find out whether there are supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of classroom management at SD Negeri Yamo Puncak Jaya. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive type. The subjects of the study include: the principal and teachers of SD Negeri Yamo Puncak Jaya. Data collection techniques include observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques include: data collection, data reduction, and conclusion drawn. The validity of the data in this study uses triangulation. The results of the study show that the implementation of classroom management in improving the quality of learning at SD Negeri Yamo is very significant. This can be said to be significant when implementing physical management and student management. A conducive and minimum physical environment supports the increase in the intensity of the learning process and has a positive influence on the achievement of learning objectives. And the supporting factor in classroom management at SD Negeri Yamo is the physical condition of the classroom or adequate classroom building and facilities because the physical environment of the learning place has a very important influence on learning outcomes and has a positive influence on the achievement of learning goals. The inhibiting factor in the implementation of classroom management at SD Negeri Yamo is the family factor because the behavior of students in the classroom is a reflection of their family situation.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and determine the feasibility of interactive media in class VIII social studies subjects that can be used to support the learning process. The research method is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. This research was carried out from January to February 2024. While the object of the research was interactive powerpoint media. This data collection technique uses questionnaires and interviews which are analyzed descriptively. The results of this research are interactive learning media for class VIII social studies subjects (1) the results of validation by material experts are included in the assessment criteria "Very Feasible", (2) the results of media expert validation are included in the assessment criteria "Very Feasible", (3) the results of small group trials are included in the assessment criteria "Very Feasible" and (4) the results of large group trials are included in the assessment criteria "Very Feasible".Conclusion, PowerPoint which is used as an interactive learning media in class VII social studies subjects is "worthy" of use.

Abstract

The phenomenon in the modern era is characterized by the rapid development of technology, information and communication. Learning media is used as an intermediary to convey messages or information to students. Using creative media can influence students to like the subject. In this journal, researchers used an experimental research method with a descriptive quantitative approach. With a research sample of VIII C MTs NU Nurul Ulum students totaling 29 students. The results in this study are decreased, it shows that the interactive learning method using the Quiz application is less effective in learning in class VIII-C MTS Nu Nurul Ulum. This is evidenced by the minimum pretest score of 60 and the maximum score of 86 and for the minimum post test score of 20 and the maximum score of 85. The average pretest is 74.38 and for the post test is 72.59. The results of the pretest and posttest have decreased

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of developing students' divergent thinking skills in the Society 5.0 era through the use of technology. The purpose of the study was to measure the effect of ChatGPT-based Autonomous Learning on improving students' Divergent Thinking skills. This study applies a quantitative methodology, specifically in a pre-experimental design that uses a measurement pattern before and after treatment on one group of research subjects. The research sample consisted of 32 students of SMP Negeri 8 Yogyakarta who were selected using accidental sampling techniques. The results of the study showed a significant increase in divergent thinking skills, as evidenced by an increase in the average score from 83.906 (pre-test) to 86.625 (post-test) with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). The study concluded that the application of ChatGPT-based autonomous learning is effective in improving students' divergent thinking skills, but it needs to be balanced with supervision and understanding of academic ethics to minimize the negative impacts of technology use.

Abstract

This study examines Immanuel Kant's moral philosophy and its implementation in building a multicultural society. The purpose of this study is to analyze the basic concepts of Kant's moral philosophy, in particular categorical imperatives, and explore their relevance in the context of contemporary multicultural society. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with a literature study method, using primary sources in the form of Kant's original works and secondary sources from various scientific publications in 2015-2024. The data was collected through systematic searches of academic databases such as JSTOR, Google Scholar, and ProQuest, then analyzed using content analysis methods and philosophical hermeneutics. The results show that Kant's moral philosophy, especially universal principles and respect for human dignity, provides a fundamental ethical foundation in building a multicultural society. The implementation of Kantian moral principles can be realized through intercultural dialogue, multicultural education, and inclusive public policy. This research contributes to the development of theoretical and practical discourse in an effort to build a harmonious multicultural society based on Kantian ethics

Abstract

This study aims to understand the interaction process between teachers and students in social studies (IPS) learning at SMA Islam Abhariyah Pagutan. The scope of this research includes the interaction patterns applied in learning, the factors influencing student engagement, and their impact on students' understanding of social studies material. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques consisting of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that in social studies learning, teachers and students do not apply all four interaction models but only use two: the one-way learning model and, on certain occasions such as school exams, the two-way interaction model. The one-way learning model is the dominant choice because it is considered more suitable for students, who have a dual role as both learners and Islamic boarding school students. In conclusion, interaction in social studies learning at SMA Islam Abhariyah Pagutan is still dominated by a one-way communication pattern, which affects students' low engagement in the learning process. Therefore, more interactive teaching strategies are needed to encourage student participation and enhance their understanding of the material.
